Wait, but the final chapter WAS an epilogue…
Oh, so they're giving us DLC…

Ummm….....yay?
I mean.....would it be 0.0000001% better or as bad as Sai gettin' with Ino?

This screenshot… Why does she have glasses anyway? Seems ironic that someone who have potential to unlock sharingan have a bad eyesight. But she's still a kid, usually a bad eyesight is something what develops later in life. Well, not that I'd expect anything less from a supernatural manga, but in this case it seems like an opposite regression of concept of superhuman capabilities.

Limited U.S. theatrical release for The Last: Naruto the Movie
http://www.elevenarts.net/th_gallery/the-last-naruto-the-movie/
Sure to be an Oscar contender in 2015!
IGN will rate it the best anime film of 2015.
Why not? we know the Lego Movie isn't.
Lego Movie was skipped for the 2014 awards.
Naruto will win it for 2015.

Naruto will win it for 2015.
I wish that would happen if only for the hurt feelings and disbelief amongst the anime community.
Ugh .
when will the nightmare end
This thread was actually dead for 2 weeks but like characters in Naruto I guess it's never going to stay dead.
Unless it's Neji.

It'll rot until it finally dies just Hidan's head.
Kichimoto watched Codeprovider video on Youtube O_O. And one Hating Naruto, LOL! He is the guy that loved Naruto, but now for sometime hates it, because is bad, and has is wall full of Blade of Immortal posters. Here a video of CodeProvider:
Volume 72's cover has been revealed, I give it a 7/10

Are any of the War Extension filler episodes worth watching?
I'm probably gonna be watching the Kabuto filler episodes and the Kakashi flashback episodes, but are any of the others worth checking out? I hear there are some Obito flashback episodes too that are pretty good.

This be symbolic if it hadn't already been beaten to death in various forms…..and if we hadn't saw it coming miles away.
To celebrate the February 4 release of Akira Higashiyama and Masashi Kishimoto's light novelNaruto - Kakashi Hiden: Hyōten no Ikazuchi (Naruto - Kakashi Hidden Legend: Lightning of the Frozen Sky), as well as the February 4 release of volume 72 of the Naruto manga by Masashi Kishimoto, Shueisha's Naruto app for iOS and Android is offering its users the chance to win a color sketch from Kishimoto. Ten illustrations have been published on the app. Those who can correctly guess the one that Kishimoto likes the most will be entered in a drawing to win an autographed color sketch, or one of ten autographed posters. The deadline to enter is February 3.
!
Let's guess the one Kishi likes the most ourselves too. I'll bet on #9 since "Tobi is Obito" is probably his favorite twist.
Those rewards…
I-I'm kinda shocked on how bad most of those actually are…
I really liked his colorspreads back in the day. Is it me or him who changed?

Definitely Kishimoto.
Just look at the beauty that still is the Chapter 1 color spread:
!
Some artists just get lazy after such a long time and so much cash in their pockets.
As if manga artists have time to spend that kind of money…
My guess would be #6
@Galaxy:
Definitely Kishimoto.

He might need a magnifying glass to look at that.
Today I saw some Shippuuden filler in which some prodigy boy got told that his closest friend, a chick who was some kind of maternal replacement I guess, was in fact the one who killed his parents in the past.
And do you know what the boy responded? It doesn't matter because it's way in the past and instead only the present and the future matters. He doesn't have any kind of thirst for revenge because he knows her well enough and has realized that she is a better person now.
That's the way to stop the circle of hatred. If a random filler boy can pull it off within seconds, why can't the main antagonists perform better and actually use common sense as well?

I wouldn't say that forgiving the person who murdered you mother and father is exactly common sense, since most people would realistically be unable to do something like that.
All those books and movies… maybe Kishi will finally explain the greatest mystery of all: Why Naruto was an outcast even though he was the son of the 4th Hokage, his mother was the former Ninetails vessel, and he was a member of the fabled Uzumaki clan whose seal is embedded into Konoha's forehead protectors and uniforms.

Because Kurama attacked the village for reasons that were never fully or properly explained. Killed and injured countless villagers in it's wake on top of nearly destroying the village entirely and was then sealed inside of infant. They treated him as an outcast because they feared the creature inside of him not because they held contempt for Naruto specifically.
It also doesn't matter who his father and mother were especially since both were killed by the very same creature, the fact remains that a good majority of the world in Naruto feared and respected the power of the tailed beasts hence why Naruto in particular was treated so harshly.
Maaaan I miss making fun of Naruto on wednesdays.
Edit:
Read that article - this is pretty amazingly detailed. Sakura's face is pretty bad, and Jiraya's old wrinkly face is the best.

I genuinely can't recall.

That number 4 still amazes me with its awfulness; its seriously some of the worst perspective fuckuppery I've ever seen. How did any editor ever accept it?

But that very same beast had been sealed inside Narutos Mom previously, showing that a Host need not be feared at all. It was even a time-honered tradition of Kushinas family! Plus, the thing that stopped the Kyuubi rampage in the first place was the fact that it got sealed inside Naruto.
Unless the entire village had a collective brain-fart and forgot that Naruto descended from a tailor-made Kyuubi host family, theres no reason to treat him like the anomalous spawn of satan, instead of the tragic new bearer of a traditional village burden.

Well, his last name was Uzumaki. Unless no one knew Narutos mothers name, it can't have been that big a secret.

Yeah, I thought that was kinda weird.
I couldn't remember if Naruto being Minato's son was a big reveal for the villagers as well as the audience.
It's true. Naruto is the latest progeny of a clan that has been valued allies of the leaf, had a cool shrine with masks on the outskirts of the village, was well known for sealing techs, and in which hosted the nine tails through two consecutive generations before Naruto.
Sounds pretty unknown to me.
Aha!
Apparently the Third Hokage concealed their family relation;

Naruto was a "uzumaki", kushina uzumaki was married with minato and had a son. Even if you conceal it, people SHOULD figure that out
Everything about the fox is a secret
Except that this kid has the fox inside him
And he's part of the Uzumaki clan
And that it's okay for everyone to be a complete dick to the kid who has this dangerous creature in him.
What a great plan Sarutobi

I know, I agree.
I'm just pointing to what the explanation seems to be within the story.
Sarutobi what a jokester. Information lockdown so that Naruto doesn't know he's a vessel for a mass of hatred but turns out the entire village's adult generation is comprised of idiots whose first instinct is to poke a monster with a stick.
What a guy
What I cant figure out is why sarutobi couldnt have just relocated naurto to some isolated farm or village with two anbu foster parents and give him a new identity? Wouldn't that have solved a few glaring plotholes as well as make…more sense than having an atom bomb walking around the village?

I don't think I've seen any of his Naruto videos besides the Hunter X Hunter (maybe Kishimoto was insecure and googled it to see if anyone noticed) but it's not everyday a manga/anime reviewer gets noticed by a mangaka.

Well, apparently the fact that Kushina had the 9 Tails sealed inside her was kept a secret. The village didn't know about her being the second Jinchuuriki (Mito being the 1st and Naruto being the 3rd).
[hide][/hide]@Yobiyopi:
Naruto was a "uzumaki", kushina uzumaki was married with minato and had a son. Even if you conceal it, people SHOULD figure that out
The villagers (99% of them at least) didn't know Kushina even gave birth. Yes, Kushina's pregnancy wasn't a secret…
[hide][/hide]But the birth was a secret, so while everyone knew Minato was due to have a child someday soon, they just didn't know when.
[hide][/hide]All most of the villae knew was that Kushina was pregnant before the Kyubi attack and that she was dead after the Kyubi attack. Nothing about giving birth. It's true as everyone has said his last name was Uzamaki, the same as his mother's.
[hide][/hide]And Naruto's last name wasn't exactly a secret.
[hide][/hide]But what about Kushina's last name? Jiraiya, Naruto's self-appointed godfather…
[hide][/hide]…Jiraiya didn't even know Kushina's last name.[hide][/hide]I'm not so sure Kushina's last name was publicly known. The very first pic I used in response to Daz shows the whole reason she was brought to the village as a child was top secret. Maybe they kept her identity secret to protect her. She was already kidnapped as a child afterall because of her special chakra.
And of course the pic Robz put up showed that the 3rd Hokage purposefully suppressed the flow of information for reasons. And this pic puts a little bit more information behind why the 3rd didn't tell anybody why Naruto was Minato's son.
[hide][/hide]So was it the village being stupid for not figuring out Naruto was the 4th Hogake's son? Haha, yes, I still think so.
