Hi all, sorry if this ends up being useless (in case there's a site that does it or an already existing thread) but as a guy who casually reads manga and watches anime, despite having read/watched a lot of stuff, when I want to start something new I check out the manga and anime related and i have some real difficulty in finding out which is the best format, the order to read/watch stuff, if there is closure to the story, etc., you get my point.
So i thought that in this thread, we could help each other dispell some of those doubts, even in cases where the anime/manga is so well known that you are too afraid to ask by this point.
I visit this site for quite some time, even before registering, and despite not posting much i know some of you are more than knowledgeable about these things, and some of you likely have similar questions to mine.
As i said, hopefully all of us can clear some doubts, but let me start then (sorry if this is gonna be loaded, but I've held back on some titles over the years exactly cause of this):
I watched the Elfen Lied anime and i regret it, the animation is not that fantastic and too much plot is left out. So I was going to read the manga but I don't know if there is closure to the story there too.
I read that Cage of Eden had a rushed ending, and that many of its plot points were ignored, should i still read it anyway?
Neon Genesis Evangelion: What should I watch/read to get the full picture without repeating stuff? I watched the main anime and AFAIK that is the main plot, but with the movies coming out, [and some mangas about it](http://myanimelist.net/manga.php?q=neon genesis evangelion), i got kinda lost on what should I or not read, preferably i would like to read stuff which actually has an ending.
Code Geass: Manga or Anime? where should i start? is there closure to the story? There are so many animes about it as well as some mangas. Monster: I am already leaning towards reading the Manga only, but am I missing out on something by not watching the anime?
Rurouni Kenshin: I watched the anime when I was younger, but i would like to read the Manga to get a good grasp of the story and not go through any of the filter, is it worth it or not really?
Akira: Manga, movie? what should i check out?
I started reading Claymore shortly before i heard it ended, did it have closure?
Hellsing: I'm mid way the 10 OVA, should i continue or is there a better format?
Cowboy Bebop: I watched the main Anime and although i really liked it, I feel im missing something cause people really love it (and Cowboy Bebop doesnt strike me as something for everyone), should i read/watch anything else?
Yu Yu Hakusho: I know everyone says this is great but, i also hear that the ending feels rushed, is it too frustrating? also, anime or manga?
I'll leave at that for now, and again, sorry for making such a loaded topic, and sorry if there is someplace to check all of these without getting spoiled, i didnt find it so i finally decided to turn to all of you.
Leave your questions too! someone will surely answer them.
