I don't see why they wouldn't do part 4. It seems to be a favorite among fans. Been finally getting around to reading it myself, definitely liking it so far.

Personally, while I like Part 3, it seems like far and away the worst part in the series. I attribute much of its popularity to its coolness and entertainment factor, because everything else is rather lacking compared to the other parts. I mean, the plot and character development is pretty thin, and rather simplistic when it does play a role.

Personally, Part 3 seems like far and away the worst part in the series, probably only becoming so popular because of its general coolness and entertainment factor. I mean, the plot and character development are practically nonexistent. It hardly even qualifies as a story.
Oh yeah, let's go with that "true fans of JoJo hate Part 3" thing again…

That's a thing? Whatever. I'm not trying to start a flame war really, really not trying to start a flame war. Faults and simplicity aside, it truly is very entertaining and fun.
-
Oh, I was under the impression people liked Diamond is Unbreakable. I did find it hard to get into at first, because Stardust and Battle Tendency were both so incredible. In fact, Parts 1-3 are just amazing. So I thought, how can it possibly get any better?!
-
True fans of jojo hate no part.
Except diavolo and giorno

Are YOU trying to start a flame war?
-
Are YOU trying to start a flame war?
Depends on if people have a stick up their ass or not
-
Well it's not like I care overly much, but the hate towards those characters seems quite unmerited to me. Even if they were mishandled, they at least seemed to have potentially interesting facets and something approaching depth of character.
-
Yeah i don't know why people hate Doppio and Buccelatti, they're the main protagonist and antagonist and they're great.
-

They'll probably do it. The whole "fans support" must be a "If you want part 4, you better buy part 3!!" thing.
-
I would be okay with skipping straight to Steel Ball Run
-
I could STAND skipping parts 5 and 6, but I want kira..
-
You can´t skip part 6. I want Jolyne. Without her I would feel like a HANGED MAN
-
If they skip part 5 and 6, part 7 might not have the budget it deserves.
And who´d want to miss out on the determinating part 6 action-girl trio? -
There's no way they'd skip part 5. That's Japan's second favourite part after part 3. Also I want to see the dance animated.
-
You can't skip any part.
-
-
All of us have skipped Part 0: The Carriage Is Not Crash
-
-
The reason they haven't announced Part 4 is because Part 3 isn't done yet. The series is doing plenty well enough in both promotion of manga sales and BD/DVD sales and ratings and all that to merit more seasons. They said "We cannot confirm" rumors of Part 3 for like a year on the Twitter account, too.
Also, read the whole series. But if you don't read it in order it's fine but you'll probably end up getting spoiled.
-
Kinda figured that was the case. Yeah I will finish reading the series, hopefully before that happens. Though, playing ASB has spoiled some things for me already, haha.
-
Back when they unveilled the first teaser trailer, they had a countdown starting all the way from JoJolion. I believe they'll keep doing parts as long as the demand holds up.
-
There's pretty much no reason for them not to do it this point as long as the merch sells.
-
Steel Ball Run 2020 will take the napkin.
-
It's crazy to think about how many years it will be before they get there. Mostly because I'd be in my mid 30's, heh. Pretty sure I'll still be a fan of this series. (Not gonna lie, if I have a boy, I want to name him Joseph.)
Also I have a mighty need for some of those Jojo's figures. Of course, the ones I want (Pt. 2 Joseph and Caesar) are out of stock. Hoping they will rerelease them someday.

Steel Ball Run is by far my favorite part but I think I am longing to see Part four animated the most.

The overall figure quality is really good. I have Jotaro, Dio, and King Crimson (with Josuke, Killer Queen, and THE HAND in the mail)
KC is amazing and possibly my favorite figure I own, Jotaro is really good, and Dio looks good posed but disappointed me with his articulation. Not nearly enough in the shoulders and torso.
sadly, Joseph and Caesar can only be found for around 100 bucks these days. And they've already been passed over in the re-release schedule.
-
I have finally finished the last seven episodes of Stardust Crusaders. And it wasn't as bad as I feared it to be.
Sun is a great example how to spend a whole episode setting up the atmosphere to play a single joke. Death is directed really well (just the timing of Joseph crashing the plane alone takes it all). Even if the battle itself wasn't that good, but I am glad to have them Kakyoin moments when I can.
Judgement comes off as a really pleasant surprise. Until this moment Abdul is pretty much a non-character, his death doesn't carry any weight and the following resurrection shouldn't as well… but it does, and how. The execution of Abdul's return is simply wonderful. These lines, these expressions, these gestures, there is so much flavour to it all that I can't help but grin widely during those scenes.
High Priestess works fine as an ending, but I suppose more of it is carried by the Jotaro and Suzy Q dialogue. About time we get reminded what Joestar family is all about.
So there it is. Dind't expect to find the finishing episodes so enjoyable after the very weak middle of the show. I guess I just can't stay mad at Jojo.
-
The fights in Part 3 that involve the tarot overall were never really that great, and I'd say that David Productions made the best out of what they got
But January can't get here fast enough so we can show that P-P-P-Poker Face. Poker face
-
So, uh, here's Iggy.
!
-
That has to be some kind of rough draft, right? Right?
-
I think he looks like what he's supposed to look like? What's the problem?
-
Looks almost exactly like OVA Iggy, which isn´t a bad thing. It´s a compromise between his original goofy design and his later more ""serious"" design, to allow for a more fluid transition between the two in the anime.
But I do hope he´ll get his more badass face once it´s time for Pet Shop, since it kind of represents how Iggy sees himself. -
I don´t see the problem.
Did you forgot how Iggy was in his first appearance? Seriously, the damn Dog´s visual change was more extreme than Valentine´s.
-
Yeah I don't see the problem here.
-
Iggy reminds me of
-
Come on guys, don't you wanna see Giorno's MudaMuda on Cioccolota animated?
-
So, we know they're keeping Iggy's early appearance at least… I wonder, will he be that way all the way through like the OVA, or will they have the design change like it did in the manga? Will they try to explain it? Will there be filler explaining why?
The first time we see it is when Iggy is deep in thought, so maybe they can include a "This is the way Iggy sees himself" caption?
-
Early Iggy is ugly which is good, but late Iggy is creepy which is good too.
As long as David Production do him jumping Polnareff justice, it is all fine.

That was intense like hell!
And i loved the D´Arby Gambler reference

Part 8 is just ripe for Out of Context Jojo.
"Let me lick your eyeball."
-
These stag beetles battles are more entertaining than some "normal" fights.
-
So, Jobin is Bruno 2.0 and we will go to Italy later on in this part? I sure hope the latter will be the case, I want to see a nice family trip.
-
That Araki teasing us with Italy though. Giorno /Zeppeli descendants when?
! ;_;
-
@!Volpe:

Things are getting pretty tense, aren't they?
There'll probably be Match 3, and so we'll have to watch Jo2uke get his eyeball licked.
"This is the taste of a cheater!"
