I theorize that Zoro will give his sword back to Kinemon, since it's a national treasure and Zoro would like to learn the fire attacks as well. Plus, it's not in the strongest tier of sword, so he'd have to give one up sometime if he ever found one anyway. This way keeps it from being like, "zoro went to wano where they really wanted the sword back but he wouldn't give it back but learned from kinemon anyway and then later on went and broke the sword somehow in making room for another".

I don't think any of the new swords that Zoro have acquired are going to break or be taken away. The only reason this happened before was because Zoro's swords in East Blue weren't really that special (minus Kuina's). Yubashiri compared to the Sandai Kitetsu also wasn't too special, which is also why it was replaced.

Every major New World antagonist is just the v2.0 of an antagonist from the Grand Line.
Crocodile 2.0 = Doflamingo
Enel 2.0 = Big Mom
Lucci 2.0 = Kaido
Moriah 2.0 = BlackBeard
Waiting for theory to get hate from everyone

That's not really a theory… more like an inaccurate insult...
Did I hate well enough? -

Zoro won the sword fair and square.
Also, it's on the same grade as the Wado, so by that logic, he will give up that one too. It's the Sandai Kitetsu that's on a lower grade than the other two, so that one has a bigger chance of being abandoned/destroyed/given.

Doflamingo indeed is potrayed as Crocodile 2.0, but when it comes to his delusions Doflamingo is a lot closer to Enel, which I don't think is a coincidence after all the connections Dressrosa had to Skypiea saga.
I don't see Big Mom as the main antagonist at all, rather Kidd or someone else will most likely take her place as the arc goes on. Anyway, Cake island gives me strong Thriller Bark vibes: it has crazy theme, weird inhabitants and a future nakama that needs saving(Jinbe). So if anything Big Mom is obvious Moriah 2.0.
Kaido isn't anything like Lucci, he is an emperor and wants more power whereas Lucci was a government cat satisfied by working for some pathetic noob as long as he gets to kill people.
The info we got so far from Kaido and Wano makes me think the saga will work like Skypiea, hostile place where factions are out for each others neck, but when it comes down to it everyone will want the antagonist out of their country. Hell, I even think dragons will work like Norla.Only thing in common with Moriah and Blackbeard is their belly fat.
I think you were initially joking with this, but nevertheless Oda tends to reuse themes a lot and most likely does so on purpose to make old readers feel more familiar with the ongoing story.

Theory on the Ope Ope no Mi and the Perenniel Youth Operation:
(Mostly because I am jonesing for a new flashback chapter)
I think we are missing something big with this. When Law swapped the Straw Hats around their respective unlearned abilities stayed within their original bodies.
So because the PYO uses up the operater's life force completely we've been looking at it as a completely unselfish act.
But what if the PYO works in the same way? The user swaps his own personality into another's body but because it then kills their previous one there is nowhere for the other personality to move into? With the original body now dead the Ope Ope pops out into the nearest piece of fruit. The newly reborn operater eats it again and regains the power of the Ope Ope. Repeat ad infinitum!
I'm sure you all see the implications of this. -

I think you read too much into his comparisons. Crocodile and Dofla are both Shichibukai whose plan involved overthrowing kingdom and conquering the world with some secret weapon/thing.
Kaido seems to have an animal theme and that's pretty much it.
Moria and Blackbeard are both fat and have dark abilities.
Don't have any idea about Enel-BM.

In spite of the fact that I will (probably) be ridiculed again for bringing up my theory again, I predict Oda is building up Blackbeard to be a parallel character to Shakespeare's Macbeth. Please understand, I'm not saying Blackbeard will harbor the same degree of moral depth Macbeth had a character; Blackbeard is never going to say something like "life is a tale told by an idiot"; Blackbeard is never going to go through grief for what he's done. What I am saying is that the plot points surrounding Blackbeard as a character will be roughly the same as Macbeth. Blackbeard killed Whitebeard. Macbeth killed Duncan. Blackbeard killed Thatch. Macbeth killed Banquo. Blackbeard will kill Shanks. Macbeth killed Lady Macduff. Now, my ultimate prediction in all of this is that, just like Macbeth, Blackbeard was fated by some form of the Wyrd Sisters, the Morai, to become Pirate King, and wanted to become Pirate King for this reason. Macbeth, was fated by the Wyrd sisters to become King. If this holds true within the story, I can for sure say my theory is true. If not, oh well. Only time will tell I suppose.

That sword is not going anywhere. they will most likely try to take it back but failing at it, so they will have to acknowledge Zoro as the rightful owner of the sword after he proves himself worthy of it.

Classic pirate stuff. You claim it and you beat the shit out of those who want to reclaim it. Seems legit.
Doflamingo succeeded where Crocodile failed.
Does that have anything to do with what he is claiming?
-
Does that have anything to do with what he is claiming?
Yes, he's comparing two character that have similar features, but where one failed the other one succeeded, pretty simple.
And that belief that this character is portrayed as x 2.0 is truly annoying, what do people expect, this is a Pirate world where
a) you're a thief
b) you want treasure
c) you have a dream
d) you want to beat people upusing this logic everyone is x character infinite number, so every single character will have some similarities, hell he even said that Dressrosa has similarities to Skypea which is true like Enel becoming king/god, Enel killing people left and right, Enel having a dream beyond that of a normal character, Enel having a crew, Enel having a hax fruit, the island being history in itself, did I miss something?
-
Doflamingo succeeded where Crocodile failed.
Where's his national treasure of the tenryuubito then?
-
Where's his national treasure of the tenryuubito then?
He has been living as a king in a country for the past 10 years, Crocodile didn't even get to seat on his chair.

The obvious counter argument is that "Luffy interfered with Crocodiles plans" but still, if you take luffy out of the equation, Doflamingo executed his plan effortlessly over the course of one day and one night (?) while crocodile worked for months/years to take over alabasta. And unlike Crocodile, Doffy was so far ahead in his planning that he had even made sure the closest marines were under his control.

What I am saying is that the plot points surrounding Blackbeard as a character will be roughly the same as Macbeth. Blackbeard killed Whitebeard. Macbeth killed Duncan. Blackbeard killed Thatch. Macbeth killed Banquo. Blackbeard will kill Shanks. Macbeth killed Lady Macduff.
This seems like something of a strange and arbitrary comparison. These aren't the only people Macbeth killed - and in fact, he didn't personally kill Lady Macduff, but rather, ordered Macduff's household killed (which included Macduff's son, as well).
Furthermore, the parallels are… iffy. Blackbeard as Macbeth to Whitebeard's Duncan makes some sense, but Thatch was Teach's commander, whereas Banquo was his equal. And the Shanks/Lady Macduff comparison seems frankly bizarre. And, of course, the parallel completely fails to account for Lady Macbeth. I really don't see much of a parallel, except insofar as a once loyal subject of a ruler killed his lord and some friends after being convinced that he was fated to become the new ruler.
And that's hardly specific to Macbeth, or even particularly descriptive of The Scottish Play.

The parallel with Shanks and Lady Macduff (and Macduff's family) makes sense in that their deaths will both add fuel to the eventual final confrontation between the respective stories Macbeth and Macduff. Yes, I'm saying Luffy is Blackbeard's Macduff; I'm not, however saying Blackbeard is Luffy's Macbeth. My theory, I must agree is rather out there, but I think I'll continue to stand by it regardless. Anyways, you said that there were other stories where a royal subject kills his lord and friends of some fated prophecy he could be king. Could you name any of those for me, because, otherwise, I can't see how the particulars you mentioned aren't taken straight out of Macbeth.

Jesus and sabo will have round two. Also Cora zan stole the ope ope fruit from doflamingo and gave it to law to save him. pissing doflamingo in the process leading to Cora being killed

I think because crocodile's plan was ultimately Pluton, he had to go a different to take over the country, unlike doflamingo who straight up took over and the government didn't bat an eye.
I don't think Crocodile wanted to be the official king of the country, just run stuff from the shadows until he found pluton. which makes sense really.

DoFlamingo always had the advantage of who he was and his past over Crocodile who was just a mere pirate

Once the arc is over Law will, out of respect for Luffy (who will have presumably punched DD's brains out), offer to make Luffy Immortal/ageless since Luffy pretty much accomplished his life's goal for him, which he was ready to die for anyway. Luffy will decline because he doesn't want to live forever (or something like that), and he doesn't want Tiger-guy to die either.

I have a theory about the secret behind One Piece story.
It may sound strange, and I don't know if it was given before.
Here it comes…The One Piece story is going on at a time more than 800 years ahead of today.
For accomplishing the dream of New World Order, USA and Israel desperately nuked the entire world to conquer it. They accomplished it, but the outcomes of this event destroyed all the technology on earth. And because of the high radiation, new species (ogres, weird animals, devil fruits, etc) started to appear.
The ancient weapons in the story are probably atom bomb and hydrogen bomb. Or other mass destruction weapons like them, like biological weapons or HAARP.
The new "World Government" prohibited research about the ancient past, because they don't want the people to learn the massacre their ancestors did.
After this war, they gathered all the remaining science books and documents, and kept them for themselves. This explains all the high tech science stuff appearing, like cyborgs and Vegapunk being 500 years ahead of worlds knowledge.
And the pirates are the heroes who are trying to reveal this dark history.
And One Piece is the "truth" behind the World Government. Gold Roger, by a little lying, made people go behind this truth. When someone finds out this "treasure" the World Government will be in real trouble.
So, what do you think about this conspiracy theory?
I realize this post was back in 2011 but I still feel like you make some interesting points. I think that it's very likely that that's what the one piece is but what do you think "one piece" actually means if that's the case? I just think that if we can get more of a grasp on what those two words represent then we'd be that much closer to figuring out more of why the show is called what it is (besides it being the ultimate treasure of the people in the show) I think that part of one piece is learning the truth about the void and the wg but there just has to also be some deeper meaning to those words ya know?
I could also see a similar scenario with this world actually being in the future of ours bc everyone knows about the new world order here in reality and it's very possible that in one piece they achieved their ultimate goal. cyborgs and vegapunk being so intelligent definitely supports this but we were shown that one of the ancient weapons was the mermaid princess and obviously she's not a wmd. I think your connections with our world and theirs have a decent amount of data for and against them but it is really a cool theory you have and still could turn out mostly true even with the series as far as it is now. if you've revised this theory since then I would definitely love to hear it!!!–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Okay so I have 2 main concerns right now..
the first being that I'd really like to just speculate on why is this treasure called the one piece? is it like the last puzzle piece needed to reveal what happened during the void or is there more to it than that? Ithink there's more.
Also, on punk hazard why would they show that devil fruit form in the sleigh as shinokumi was released? Who in the world would be able to get it or even realize that it's there? This has been troubling me lol i just cant come up with any good explanations for why they would show that blue devil fruit when its like impossible to get to or know about? -

You can decide yourself if it's useful to your questions or not.
In 2002, Oda stated in an interview:
Is there a secret which no one around knows? The secret of the naming of the title One Piece.
(Link here but you can read the other interviews here. The last interview isn't actually dead, it's just linked incorrectly - so take off the 'u' if you're actually interested)
In 2011, NHK (JP TV Network) made a documentary about ONE PIECE. Here's the summary/translation.
So yeah, other than "'the great secret to connecting people' is another way to read the Japanese for 'One Piece'". That documentary also solidifies my thoughts that I've been repeating in these forums about Oda portraying the concept of (Japanese) spirit into his work, but I won't get into that again..

The apple thing on Punk Hazard right? That was shown how Devil Fruits are made (or re-made). As you know, Smiley the poisonous gas who ate the axolotl fruit blew up and died due to Caesar's plan (giant candy). So it's quite safe to say he knew how to get the Devil Fruit back. I think those apples were there to show that. After all, why apples? Why not oranges? Why not a mixture of fruits? Why in the middle of nowhere to bring fruits?
The bigger mystery lies on whether or not a certain fruit holds certain Devil Fruit powers (like Axolotl = apple), although SMILES also resemble apples.
Hope that answers more questions than it raised.

I have a small theory. It's silly but it makes some kind of sense.
Bellamy = Lamy
Oh, ho ho~ You may ask what the hell I'm talking about. Well, it's not inconceivable to think that the Revolutionary Army may have decided to head into a certain White Town during a period of unrest. Indeed, it's not unthinkable that a certain child trapped in a fiery inferno may have been saved and cured by a certain person with the ability to mess with hormones… and gender. That said child may have lost her memories due to extreme trauma but later feel drawn to the Doflamingo family for some reason (perhaps a certain member of the family...?) is also a possibility.
Also?
Bel means White
Lamy means HiddenHello, Oda, we know you love playing with names.
It's not much to go on but I was just poking fun at my own idea and checking the meaning of the word Bel. Colour me surprised when I saw what it meant. Then checked out Lamy, well well well...
Also, the name Bellamy is unisex and means handsome/beautiful/fair friend.

I don't think Oda is going to play that card twice on the story.
-
raftel,as his name suggest,it's difficult to reach because it's an island with no magnetism that like a raft travels following the streams of the last part of the grand line
roger was able to reach it because he heard the voice of the island

The poneglyphs have the location of Raftel and how to get there….that is why no one cept Roger reached it....

Not save the girl, but change genders. There's a 65% possibility that Crocodile was a woman before and he requested Ivan to change his gender so people can stop looking down on him.

! This is funny crack theory since their names are similiar
ベラミー (Beramî) - Bellamy
ラミ (Rami) - Lamy
But I think you pulled the rest out of ether as it's not it's not chopped as Bel in japanese, it's written like this: ベ(be) ラ(ra) ミ(mi)ー -
ラミ (Rami) - Lamy
Wow so my favorite serie actually has a character called like me(almost)! Unfortunately she is either a dead little girl or Bellamy. I think I will keep waiting…

I think Lami is actually more correct, not Lamy, I just chose to use it. Im sure Mangastream's Lamie on the other hand is totally incorrect.
-
I took it as Bellamy - Lamy = Bel
Not 'pulled out of the nether'. The fact that the names match up to the story could be coincidental, sure, but Oda hasn't just used Japanese names before. In fact, he's used a lot of names from various places all over the world. Add that White Town looks quite European, Bellamy and Lamy are both French in origin, as is Trafalgar and Waterloo (Water Law~)… well, it's not that big a leap in logic. Also, Lami is the feminine version of Lamy. They both mean the same thing but there's a male and female version.
Oh ho ho ho~

Everything in North Blue looks pretty European.
I still think Oda is basing the Blues off areas of the real world.North Blue = Europe
West Blue = Americas
East Blue = East Asia (well sorta)
South Blue = third world hodge podge -

If your theory is right then Gandhi looking guy may represent south blue, Gorbatchev looking guy may represent north blue, the one with a scar on his chest is more american/british looking so he may represent west blue, the other twos don't also seem pretty european looking so I guess it's not much of a theory but still...

Yeah I also came to that conclusion, though I disagree about the Gandhi guy. He comes off very Japanese with the style of robes he has and the katana.
Funny you should say scar man looks British, he looks pure American action hero. Even looks like young Charlton Heston a bit.
Meanwhile the Gorbachev guy has that birthmark sure, but that mustache makes him look super British. So far west and far east Europe represented by the Europe guy at once. -

I've always thought of them that way, but I instead of having Mariejoa I had them Grand Line since Mariejoa is not a sea but a city on the grand line
