I totally dont want to be right. But given the shit we got today, I just might be, you got any estimation? For how much longer do you think it will last?
We actually got one of the biggest progresses now that Franky finally got into the factory.

In a certain sense, yes. But consider the fact that the plot isn't really moving towards the endgame until Luffy has begun fighting Doflamingo. Now Franky is gonna fight Senior Pink for half an eternity and the tontatta are gonna run around doing stuff. Probably gonna need at least 4 charters until that is finito.

I'd say 30-45 chapters seems a likelihood.
Depends on if you count what happens with Sanji/ Swirlyhats afterwards, ( technically during the events now), as a separate, or part of a separate arc.

That mainly depends on if Luffy beat Doflamingo before we see Swirlybro again. Nevertheless, I think the arc ends once Luffy lift anchor.
So with Mansherry revealed I think its safe to say all the plotlines and characters in the arc have finally revealed itself…except for one (or two if Corazon's appearance via flashback counts)

We still don't know who the toy in the top panels are, right? I remember the speculation was that the person is involved with Wano, but when do people think this character will be revealed?
As a reminder, the toy has been a toy for 8 years, whereas Doflamingo started the events of his rule 10 years ago, and I think people agreed that the time lapse was important and not just showing Doflamingo kept turning people into toys during his 10 year rule.
Wait what ?! For me this panel only shows that the toys started cheering for God Usopp before his victory.
So Pica came away from that attack with… a split lip. That's ten times the attack that took out Ohm, mind. I think we're gonna be here a while, and that's a relief to me.

After what we saw today? Including breaks I say January 2015 until they officially leave this island.

No, no, no, no, no.
Did you not hear the mating calls of the wild Zoro fans last chapter?
Pica was finished with one attack and a smartass line damnit!
So if both Machivse's "super weight" and Dellinger's… Fighting Fish-ness are Devil Fruit powers, the only Exec who doesn't seem to have a Fruit is Lao G.
...remember when the Fruits were the stuff of legends?
Did you not hear the mating calls of the wild Zoro fans last chapter?
Graceful and fascinating creatures, I tell ya.
Thought i would make a couple predictions..
Sugar is awake and will cause a plot twist when Luffy encounters Doflamingo..
Doflamingo isnt on the island anymore and has string jokers everywhere for usage (lying to his crew about him being there, they will understand gor sacrifice)..
Although it could very well be unlikely..
I would love to see what would happen Luffy got tyrned into a toy..
It's easy to miss, but two chapters ago, note that at the end of the scene with Bellamy, Doffy has his hands in his "puppet master" gesture he makes when using Parasite. Poor Bellamy.
Things I'd like to do with Senor Pink:
btw, I feel like if Franky and Senor Pink weren't enemies, they'd be good friends. They're similar in a lot of ways.

Split lip??? LOL, you guys are so funny. He cough up blood, the statue was shown holding it's chest which means the damage is on the chest.

That was a sound effect. That "blood."

In the lower part of the panel? Those are random black bloobs. Don't seem to be similar to any sound effects I saw in any series ever.

I'm sure that toy there was just an example to show Doflamingo's unpopularity with the toys, and a prelude to the former toys rebelling.
@Hamburger:

Nah he was right, it's safe to say that was blood.
The last 2 pages from the previous chapter.
[hide][/hide]
He's fine on the page before the last, then on the double spread, you can already roughly see on the side of his chin something that resembles blood.
Which is confirmed then this chapter.
[hide][/hide]
The real sad part though is that, even though I doubt Pica's finished yet, Zoro hasn't even put on his bandana yet. I hope he at least makes him do so.

yeah I think that's the whole point of the kiss scene, as weird as it was. Just to illustrate how similar these guys are, and how ridiculous the whole thing is for everyone involved.

I couldn't agree more. I wonder if we'll see Franky reflect on it later like "what the fuck was I doing?!"

Well I don't think that'll happen, but clearly these guys are supposed to be ridiculous to the point where you're not supposed to take them seriously. I think Robby pointed it out, but these are "macho men" who are fighting with nipple lights and diaper bombs. We didn't even know nipple light could be used in an offensive capacity before this, which makes the whole thing even more ridiculous.
Well I don't think that'll happen
Yeah, you're probably right. He should at least get a glare and disapproving comment from Robin since Nami isn't around to hit him. (not that she's headed in that direction) Nipple lights are embarrassing as a human being.
Is the entire sequence the most ridiculous scene in the entire series so far?
I wonder how long the final battle with Doffy will take? I Wiki'd the final fights of the previous "climax arcs;" Croc took twelve chapters to put down, and Lucci took ten. Yowza.
Just a reminder that we are at 55 chapters of the Dressrosa Arc, and at 55 chapters into the Alabasta arc, Pell's bomb had exploded and Luffy had just defeated Crocodile.
I know it ain't exactly the same situation. But the strawhats reached the tower of justice 70 chapters after their arrival at Water 7.
Alvida arc confirmed for best arc.
Man One piece went downhill after that…

If you say Water 7 and Enies Lobby is one part, the we should count Punk Hazard and Dressrosa as one part.
Just saying.
So far its been a pretty great Arc but its only going up slowly now. Throughout the past year ive been pretty happy with my predictions.
Ill leave my predicions "i told you so speech" for after this Arc.
Glad i called Sabo vs Fujitora, pushing it but i got it.
Being called an idiot for calling Diamante vs Kyros when Diamante was in the finals.
Being called an idiot for saying Luffy would NOT win against Doflamingo first fight, i was too fanboy but because of that my prediction is irrelevant. Along with the good ol classic, "Luffy doesnt defeat Doffy he goes to Impel down after first fight".
Being called an idiot for saying that Lufy will not even scratch doflamingo in chapter 730 (after law got defeated). Been 25 chapters and Doflamingo is still having a good time.
I think i was called an idiot for saying the colloseum floor would come down crashing down on the factory.. Didnt predict seastone though.
Bringing attention to everyone that the meteors do nothing to the birdcage, happened exactly as i mentioned..Do i have connections to Oda :ninja:
Doflamingo vs Luffy: 3rd encounter;
Doflamingo outclasses Luffy because Luffy still doesnt understand or properly know about the Ito Ito no mi. Parasite thread will occur with Law saving him +string joker is currently wondering around, if not it is the current one with the high executives.
Where is the real one that his face scratched?
Are you sure you were being called an idiot for the things you think you were being called an idiot for? It's just there could be other reasons why you were called an idiot more to do with the fact you are an idiot.

To be honest buddy, these are things that were quite widely predicted, well ahead of time.
No poster worth his salt would have called you an idiot for predicting these.
However, at the same time, you can't really take too much credit here because like I said…widely predicted.
If you say Water 7 and Enies Lobby is one part, the we should count Punk Hazard and Dressrosa as one part.
Just saying.
Not really. Water 7 and Enies Lobby had the same plot and elements (Robin leaves, CP9, Galley-La, Franky and his family, saving Robin, Going Merry). It was pretty much the same arc, but with a change of location in-between.
Water 7 had no resolution until after Enies Lobby.
Punk Hazard and Dressrosa aren't the same thing. Each arc had their own plots and elements that had nothing to do with the other arc (Brownbeard, children, Smoker and Tashigi). It would be more correct to say that Punk Hazard is to Dressrosa what Whiskey Peak and Little Garden were to Alabasta. Caesar himself worked as a Mr. 3, being the main villain of his own arc, but still part of a bigger scheme. Vergo and Monet are similar to Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine (part of the main antagonist group, but dealt before the final stage).
Punk Hazard, Little Garden and Whiskey Peak all had their own resolutions.

The same can be said for Dressrosa, we are dealing with the Donquixote family, Law and Kinemon since the start of Punk Hazard.

The plot of Punk Hazard was to destroy the SAD which was used to make the Smiles, the plot of Dressrosa is to destroy the Smiles. All of this in order to ruin Doflamingo's life.
The same can be said for Dressrosa, we are dealing with the Donquixote family, Law and Kinemon since the start of Punk Hazard.
By that logic, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Alabasta are all the same arc.
Baroque Works and Vivi have been dealt with since Whiskey Peak after all.
Keyword is "resolution". Water 7 didn't have a resolution before Enies Lobby. Punk Hazard did have his own resolution.
The plot of Punk Hazard was to destroy the SAD which was used to make the Smiles, the plot of Dressrosa is to destroy the Smiles. All of this in order to ruin Doflamingo's life.
Punk Hazard also had its own "save the children and everybody else from Caesar's madness" plot unrelated to the SAD plot.
We already had this talk before. Robby explained everything clearly.
The crew kicked zero ass in Water 7. It's that simple.

No - Punk Hazard had a definite ending as an arc. It had a definite arc villain (CC) who was defeated by Luffy, followed by a big end of arc party followed by the crew leaving the island together on the ship and heading for a new island. The Dressrosa arc may have started in Punk Hazard but there is a definite seperation between the two of the type not found between Water 7 and Enies Lobby.
I'm not arguing that both Punk Hazard and Dressrosa are one and same arc, they aren't for obvious reasons. But you can't say these arcs have nothing to do each other, they fall into the whole Doflamingo saga. The same goes for Water Seven, it has different arcs in it and these arcs fall into the whole CP9 saga. It's that simple.

Well yeah of course. The debate started because many guys think that Oda is taking more time than he usually does to start Luffy's fight. But it's wrong if you consider that Lucci was the main villain of both Enyes Lobby and Water 7. More than 70 chapters vs 55 chapters.

Punk Hazard and Dressrosa are related, just like Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Alabasta are related. No one is arguing that.
The thing is that Water 7 and Enies Lobby are way more than related. They're the same arc taking part at different locations. Nothing that happens at Water 7 is resolved until Enies Lobby.
Going Merry? Resolved at Enies Lobby.
Tom's blueprints? Resolved at Enies Lobby.
Defeat CP9? Enies Lobby.
Robin returns? Enies Lobby.
Usopp returns? After Enies Lobby.
Franky joins? After Enies Lobby.
Hell, the only relevant Water 7 character that didn't involve himself with Enies Lobby was Iceburg, and even he contributed by sending Merry to save the Straw Hats.
If you say Water 7 and Enies Lobby is one part, the we should count Punk Hazard and Dressrosa as one part.
Just saying.
lol no.
I would elaborate but I think King Cannon covered it all pretty eloquently.
Just think: Caesar … Doflamingo. Lucci ... Lucci.

Fixed that for you :ninja:
Ill see if icanget the time to find these times in which i was called stupid for calling such things. E.g. Diamante vs Kyros. Yes it was widely predicted but i was calling it before anyone actually did.
People commenting on my logic saying "Diamante camt fight Kyros, hes in the colloseum fighting Sabo. How the hell is he going to be matched up with him".
I remember everything. Theres only so much more to those little things i mentioned.
Its not the fact that i can have stupid posts. When people believe you are a fanboy they disregard everything you say towards that favourote character.
Im sure you remember rob when i was attacked for saying Luffy was no way going to scratch Doflamingo in the first encounter. Simply fpr fanboying.
