Any tips on winning 3 battles without damage?

I can only get the 3ds version. Is that any good compared to the PS3 version?
-
3DS version is fine. It's only a graphical bump really between the two versions.

Pick an easy level duel and use Doflamingo. Make your opponent someone whose attacks are easy to dodge. I used Mihawk each time. As soon as the battle starts use Doflamingo's skill that gives unlimited SP for a few seconds and just spam his special attack.
Cool. I'll give it a shot, thanks :)
-
Spamming Jimbei's triangle is another easy way to win battles without damage, so long as you keep an eye out for opponents with ranged attacks.

beats all the Grand Line quests
looks at first New World quest"boss battle against both Ace and Whitebeard"
Ah ha ha fuck you too game.

It's actually not that hard, I already beat it one the first try.
On another note, I junt did the 3 battles without damage with Ichigo D. Storm's method, very quickly.

Could be worse they could've gave you Blackbeard & Whitebeard.
-
Finally beat that damn mission. That super of Whitebeard's where he punches the ground is just so ridiculous to get away from. I took to saving my own supers until I saw him pull if out to protect myself with the invincibility frames. Thank goodness Whitebeard, as in the main story, never dodges anything.
-
I thought it'd be smart to go after Whitebeard first for that quest but Ace covers him well by changing his target every few seconds and being annoyingly accurate
-
My tip for evading Whitebeard's special is to save your own and use it when he uses his for the short invulnerability period. I can never get the dodge down right either and tend to do it by luck. Funny thing - Ace sucker punched me during Whitebeard's special which knocked me out of the blast radius saving my life lol
Also Ace's special used to be the one that always got me… he and Buggy tend to unleash their specials the moment I'm standing next to them. But I've learned to read Ace better and run the hell away from him when I see him jump to the middle.
-
I did some Four Emperors quests today.
One quest said that the enemy would be Crocodile so I thought it would be kinda easy but suddenly Law,Jinbe and Mihawk appeared before him.Fucking misleading info, lol.
-
^ FYI, the later boss quests are like that too.
-
For whitebeard special, all you need is to stay away from him. You can get away easily with most characters by jumping and pressing the dodge button.
From the top of my head, the only one that this doesn't work with is Nami -
I must have the worst luck then, for I kept trying to do that and ended up getting hit anyway while I was in midair.
-
I just found 3 copes of the Day One edition at my public library.
I have mixed feelings.
-
Grinding quests to unlock the last few Strong Words I need. It's taking days! But I only have 11 left. And there's nothing worse than battling for 40 exhausting minutes only to receive no words at the end :( "Now is the age of Blackbeard!" is proving to be particularly elusive.
-
The Smoker "fight" was just a quick time event. Boring.

Oof.
Must've sold like SHIT. :-(

More DLC up on the Wii U eShop - Chopper Swimsuit pack & Quests for Materials! :)

How many easter eggs have you guys found out?
Yesterday I thought of burning the WG flag with Usopp and it turned out that it was an easter egg.Got a trophy too.
-
Great so they add crappy DLC instead of adding more characters playable.
-
I just noticed the yellow letters in D. Lucy are the letters of DLC… I am... a bit... frusrated about this pun...

Why would you want more characters? You already have a lot of them and not much to do with them anyway.
I'd want more story-like levels, that was the only nice thing for me. -

More Characters isn't a bad thing adds more depth to the game and variety.
-
I got tired of pretty much every character after a few minutes, I don't think that would really help the game..
Edit: except for Sanji, he's probably the best character in the game moveset-wise and control-wise
-
New DLC with Lucy (Attack and Defense version).
Sounds like the Lucy content will be free in Japan, so it would only be fitting for it to be free in the European and US/Canada versions as well. http://onepiecepodcast.com/2014/07/31/update-on-op-super-grand-battle-x-and-op-unlimited-world-red/

There are just too many missions in this game. I've been trying to beat them all before I tackle the final story mission, but I'm still six missions from finished with the new world pack, and there's another set after these.
-
The extra stuff in the game takes like 20x longer to complete than the actual story. I love it.
-
After finishing the Coliseum mode, and unlocked all the characters, and finishing the first three episodes of the story mode without doing any of the side quests or expanding the city, I have clocked around 10 hours of play time into the game. Not bad for a supposedly short game.
I've been enjoying the game immensely, with great gameplay and terrific soundtrack. I absolutely loved the Coliseum mode, and the final battle was simply thrilling. I even got back to watching the Anime, even though I stopped back when the Fishmen Island arc ended, due to how slow the Anime has been going. However, after playing the game I felt the urge to start watching the Anime again, so for a licensed game, it definitely accomplished its task, at least as far as I'm concerned.

I finally finished everything - took me 68 hours or so… (this includes getting all the words which is honestly the longest part but not quite as frustrating as getting all coins as in Pirate Warriors 1... but the randomness factor can still be ugh).
Was fun though, I enjoyed the game overall though kind of disappointed in some of the lame move sets of some bosses.! Seriously Aokiji, what have they done to you…?
Kind of miss Unlimited Adventure now - I remember bosses being more challenging in that one.
Never got to play the Cruise games… so this was fun to play an adventure game with an updated roster anyways. Some things felt like a step backwards, not a huge fan of the Batmanesque dodge/counter mechanic. I definitely prefer dodging as it is done in Pirate Warriors 2

Downloaded the update but the costume doesn't show up on my Japanese 3DS :(

Hi guys, im looking for some info/translation about dlc's for Japan region. I have finished this game at my eur. 3DS and since this game isnt in 3D there's no point leaving it at shelf besides the Day-1 edition bonuses that include Strong World Luffy costume and Marineford DLC. So im curious if theres any option to get Day one/Straw hat edition dlc's on Vita in Japan region. I have only found that 15th anniversary outfits are free in PSN but how about additional outfit and quest DLC. I have found some info on those 2 sites but my Japanese isnt that good to read shitloads of kanji … so im asking you for some help.

Yep, the U.S just got those recently too.
Darn it, why am I so addicted to collecting everyone's costumes? Curse you, DLC!
-
Do you guys think that there's no point buying Japanese ps vita version to get dlcs? Now I'm confused because I personally think that there always be some that will never come outside Japan. Let's see if we get Nami and Robin teachers costumes.
Also I would like to know if there's still option to obtain day one bonuses on Japan vita version.
-
Who else thinks that this kind of games would really be fitting for a Hunter X Hunter game ? With that been said, I'd take any good Hunter X Hunter game -_-
-
Let's see if we get Nami and Robin teachers costumes.
I'm 99% certain those were already confirmed through the official website.

Cant find any confirmation … but i must say that they made super site http://www.onepiece-unlimited-world-red.com/
-
The site listed tons of packs in the DLC section before the game's release date, but I guess they have been removed, to be re-added as they are released. Still, I'm almost positive that they were on the list, so it should only be a matter of time.
-
Oh man, all the side quests that make you play as Robin are painful.
-
Oh man, all the side quests that make you play as Robin are painful.
While I don't believe that Robin is the best character in the game or anything like that, I still think she's far from being bad. In fact, in missions where you control more than a single character, she's amazing at keeping the pressure on the enemies with her long range attacks. Also, she has a teleport, which is always good against the majority of characters (except Fujitora). So all in all, she is not all that bad. At least I didn't have any trouble finishing her side-quests.
-
Personally, it's those missions that make you fight a bunch of bosses in a row (so…most of them) that make me break out in a cold sweat.
-
The Nami School pack and The Bathrobe pack have been added to the Wii U eShop. :)
