Jimbe's ship is still coated. I assume he is sailing with someone else on board.
Besides, aren't bubbles supposed to pop when they are too far from the mangroves ?

Hmm this week's chapter was very good, but one thing about Oda's style which I find a little bit annoying at times is that he likes to switches to different scenes when we were just were to get engrossed into the fight…..I would have preferred if fights were to last a bit longer, or even better,if the whole chapter is focused on Sabo vs Fujitora and only them.
It's a matter of opinion, but I don't really want to see so much of Sabo vs Fujitora. They're superpowered bigshots and … not the main cast. It's interesting to see glimpses of their abilities and fighting styles, and I'm interested in Fujitora's motivations etc, but it's not worth seeing in full detail, imo.
I'd say you're right about this problem with respect to some of the major fights of the last arc though (Smoker vs Vergo, Law vs Vergo, Luffy vs Caesar to some extent ...) and it would be very disappointed if that were to be the same for Franky vs Senor Pink, Zoro vs Pica ...

That's the natural bubbles, not the coating.
Maybe he's keeping it coated so that he doesn't float to the top?
@The:
Sorry, had a bit of a brain fart their. Thought you were specifically talking about that one panel in the chapter. I don't know if the experience would help. He implied that the cage was weakening, so maybe if he could throw more meteors it would break it? It's all conjecture at this point. Also I wonder what his fruit is. He's mostly been using meteors but the first time we saw him he caused the floor to collapse. I'm still guessing that it's a different gravity based power.
isn't pretty much assured that it is the gravity-gravity fruit?ò_ò
I really don't get why you think Burgess would care lol
He's already fought against Sabo and was outsmarted rather than physically beaten.
Learning of Sabo's link with Luffy would literally just make him go "Wiihahahaha! Aw shucks, no wonder he's strong!".
Would put in a call to BB and BB would ask Sabo to join the crew lol .
It seems Luffy is going to be kicked in the ass by a Doflamingo's puppet… Again.
Koala must love Sabos claws

I assume that. My guess is he can change the gravity of an object. The only reason I doubt his ability his because he uses the meteors a lot. The only other time it was used differently was when he destroyed the floor, and I would guess when the random Marine fell on his butt. Oda could say that it was a different way of using Kings Haki, but that's not likely. Like I said, It's most likely a gravity based power, but you never know 100% until it's confirmed.
Glorious Kelly Funk is glorious. Good chapter.
Anyway, Ucy's horn has really grown back last chapter.

What about holding Law down on the ground with his power or holding down marines that were attacking citizens because the were infected with parasite? I think it's weird that he would use meteors anyway… they just do to much damage to the surroundings and innocent bystanders while they are pretty easy to destroy or dodge for enemies with Devil fruits or swordmen (Law's room, Doffy's strings, Luffy's rubber, Zoro's words, ...). If it was me, I would use the gravity completely different but the meteors do hint to the amount of gravity that can be used thanks to the DF, which is an enormous amount.
Bad Feeling that Luffy and Law will be trapped. The infamous stall tactic.

it's possible,but with what?
it's not like pica's rocks can do anything against luffy..we clearly saw it earlier in their duel

Thank you, I forgot about those. I tend to forget about certain things until I reread stuff, because there is so much to take in. It's true that he could use his power in different ways. We'll probably see him use a more variety of attacks, especially in a fight which he'll be defeated. Him using meteors is probably to show the extent of his powers, and to give us something flashy. If we see much of him v Sabo it'll be interesting to see how he uses it, since he can't really use the meteors.

!
The BBPs seem to underestimate Luffy(or overestimate their own, just like their captain did on so many occasions and got burned for it), that of course before Burgess witnessing Sabo's strenghth first hand
Also, something tells me that Doflamingo will make full use of the water than is surrounding Luffy and Law, he might send them both into the water, since they are both DF users.
If he does that, it goes to even prove further that Doflamingo is definitely not a all-brawn-but-no-brain fighter.
Adding on:
Fujitora's Justice is kind of weird, one time he cares about the citizens but then he just sends a meteor down, which broke and definitely damaged some civilian infrastructure, possibly killing some civilians.
Also another occasion is when he decided to help Doflamingo anyway, despite hating the Shichibukai system…

Uhuh.
Still not really relevant to Burgess finding out about the connection between Luffy and Sabo, though.
Now I want to see either Abdullah & Jeet vs Funk Bros or Kelly backstabbing Doflamingo by sneaking up on him and trying to take over his body.
That would be… too good to be true.
@Devil:
That would be… too good to be true.
Kelly will probably end up in slices if he does something like that though :P
I really want to know where the place is shown in the Sabo flashback… Maybe it would explain more, why he couldn't come
What is Sabo's posture in this little flashback panel ? I can't tell where his head is supposed to be. But I think Hack and Koala are on the left.
What dates are mentioned on the chapter's cover?
also..can we safely assume that abdullah and jeet are out of the game? (dead or at least unconscious?)
They are not dead. The Funk bros unit were surprised at them falling off so they/he didn't pounce straight away on Abdullah & Jeet. I'm hopin for a scene where the Funks slip and say they tricked Luffy, so Abdullah & Jeet will take offence (remember they were the first to say 'they were saved by God Usopp') and beat them up.
I was hoping against hope that the Funk Brothers weren't betraying Luffy…
...Goddamnit guys.
I was expecting it. I thought it was suspicious that they suddenly appear and claiming same ground (saved by Usopp) and help Luffy when they haven't been seen since ch. 746 pg. 7 when they heard about the stars bounty. At least one Funk, Bobby, was shown in a panel with Abdullah, Harjudin and Dagama. All three were seen as part of the support group of gladiator fighters going after Doflo, but the Funks were not there.
Jimbe's ship is still coated. I assume he is sailing with someone else on board.

They do when above waters. Underwater they seem to hold up for some distance and burst when they surface. After all the Whitebeard fleet were able to sail underwater all the way to Marineford. And the Sunny stayed underwater when they were caught into the Whitestorm and bypassed the first 3 islands after leaving FI.
I'm so happy Jinbe gets a cover story. I think birdcage did shrink in size, maybe Doffy used some of it to create another String clone?
Silly old Oda. If the birdcage cuts that meteor into slices that big, people could easily pass through it.

The gaps are probably wider near the top and narrower at ground level.

I to look again because at first I was thinking he's bent over, as in kneeling over the newspaper. Ie ws wrong there.
On 2nd look, it looks like V shape, with the left part more rounded and right straight angles. So I am going with the 'right side with angles is the opened newspaper and left side is the side profile of Sabo. We can't see the head clearly because his arms are raised to grasp his head.
Picture someone in grief or agony that raises their arms up and their hands are grabbing the sides of the head, then rotate the image to the side. That's what I imagine that image is.

the funk brothers are not the problem here, doflamingo passed from the same door they fall in front to…
It's kind of annoying how we have to guess if its the real doflamingo lol. Hopefully it is!
Also Sabo seems really strong. I think he will be at a stalemate with Fujitora.
The gaps are probably wider near the top and narrower at ground level.
Uh, I don't think we are seeing the same birdcage here…
That is Mingo IMO, there is no path there which means Funk is working for Mingo somehow. I kind of feel for Bastile, he knew he's biting more than he can chew but he had to stand up for his subordinates. Can't wait for next week now, it seems I will still get my Robin vs Trebol if Robin is moving towards the place.

I'm sure it's mingo. The doll was used to make Birdcage.
Kelly will probably end up in slices if he does something like that though :P
He could sneak up on him while he's busy with Luffy or something, but it's obvious it won't happen. By the way, would Kelly be able to use a Devil Fruit's power after hijacking the user? I hope we see something more of the Jake Jake no Mi, I'm in love with it.

Good to know that some people out there are still rootin' for a Robin vs Trebol fight. I really hope she fights him. Good chap overall though. Fujitora is so senile xD. Can't wait to see where and what Sabo was doing when he found out about Ace.
Figures that the bounty hunters would be the ones to sell him out.
And even more Sabo build-up. Too bad that Horny had to pay with his helmet for him to look cool.
The gaps are probably wider near the top and narrower at ground level.
geometrically speaking it should be the exact opposite. the higher you get the narrower they are
Being a Vice-Admiral means leading a life full of misery, unless you're called Garp. Poor guys.

Oda will probably give her Baby 5 tbh

Nah, I know.
I was expecting it as soon as they appeared out of nowhere and conveniently knew about a secret passge lol
I just hoped that I was wrong.
MS translation is completely different. It's so confusing. Btw, last page, who said the tunnel was a well? Was it Mingo or Law?

That was Doflamingo.
probably is the use of the birdcage is like a shortcut in every corner of DR

The Buster Call group seems to be alright.
I wonder if the Funk brothers are working for Doffy since they led him into that dead end?
As someone else said, it could be Kinemon, or another String clone.
Soo kinemon can actually have Doflamingos face now?.
No.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
it's getting smaller, compare the birdcage in 751 to this one http://i4.mangapanda.com/one-piece/745/one-piece-4919363.jpg
A blind man can see it getting smaller. I see how it is.
Gotta love how the chapter is titled 'Sabo vs. Fujitora' and all we get is one panel of the trademark Oda clashes that ultimately lead no where. Talk about false advertising. xD
You know… that Bastille scene awfully resembles another scene from another arc... what could it be
@Gia:
The Buster Call group seems to be alright.
Just wait until they have to fight on-screen :P
A revolutionary is taking down Bastille… Oh Oda I see what you did there:ninja:
You deserve an internet cookie~
I guess when i wake up, I will be reading all the Fujitora is handicapped discussions and how Sabo isn't as good as we think he is..
Law talks about how it would be a disaster if he got next to Doflamingo aaand he's now in a dead end with him..
Baseless prediction: Luffy loses the battle but doesn't lose the war.. but Doflamingo will be distracted by something.
Not to mention all the but it could be a clone discussions…
And even more Sabo build-up. Too bad that Horny had to pay with his helmet for him to look cool.
I know right? It's like:
-Are you a Vice-Admiral?
-Yes.
-Then you're going down, except if you're Yamakaji, because fk yea. Do you have a mask or helmet, or anything on your face that can shatter and isn't, well, your face?
-Yes.
-It won't be in One Piece for too long.
