Here is for South America taking all three matches today.
Not so fast…GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like Ottmar used the half-time break to remind me his team that the ball belongs in the goal after all.
Here is for South America taking all three matches today.
But um … there's only two south america matches today ...
Wow, nice one Switzerland.
Last second goal. Great game.
Swiss better team in 2nd half. Two great subs by Hitzfeld.
A neat last minute goal indeed.

...South of Mexico America?

Yeah.
Ecuador just played Switzerland (as you saw) and Argentina play B & H at later tonight.
Loved Switzerland's last minute goal, they deserved the win.
France team: Lloris, Debuchy, Varane, Sakho, Evra, Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi, Valbuena, Benzema, Griezmann.
Awesome last minute goal!
Good game and happy Switzerland won.
Now on to France vs Honduras
Typical brazilian referee, doesn't know how to control the match.
Woo, the game is getting a bit rough.
Awesome!
The Honduras player was also at fault for stamping him, which provoked the reaction.
On another day both of them could've received red cards.

Agreed. 16 chars
And France take the lead with a penalty!
Should be an easy ride now, the guy who committed the foul got sent off.
FINALLY the Goal Line Technology comes in to play and actually works!

I was just about to say this. Loving it.
WOW France…. another goal ?O.O
Go france ??
Honduras are pretty sore losers, it seems.
All I remember them producing in this half is X-rated fouls.
Honduras it's like they play kong fu or some shit like that, one of the most aggressive team in this tournament…
Yay, I predicted the score correctly! :P
Fine game we saw there. France deserved the win and played incredibly solid football. Can't complain about anything.
I say, those Hondurian chaps are dirty little blighters! A central american version of Don Revie's Leeds Utd and the worst team in the tournament so far.
Here's a hypothetical.
Let's imagine that Ecuador beat Honduras next (should be possible) and that Switzerland beat France (a bit more of a stretch, I know, but stay with me), thus guaranteeing passage to the knock-out stages if not first place.
My question is this: would Switzerland then be better off just forfeiting their last group match to avoid getting physically assaulted by Honduras, even at the risk of facing Argentina in the last 16?

From a safety viewpoint, yes.
From a moral viewpoint, no.
Can't let the bullies win. Stand up to them and beat them, just like France did.

Yeah, I was just kidding with that post, but it would be hilarious if they actually did. Haha! The way Honduras looks now, I wouldn't want to play them either if I already advanced. They are awful and would just try and injure the best player on the team. Dirty team.
Anyways, France did beat them pretty well and respectfully.
Honduras has failed me. Argentina is today's last hope.
Dammit Bosnia.
Considering the amount of talent they have, Argentina never cease to disappoint with their game. So slow paced, so boring, so uncreative. . .
Surprisingly good game by Bosnia so far.
And awful display by Messi so far.
Ohhh I hope Argentina loses so badly! My absolute most hated team in the entire tournament! So overrated and garbage! I hope Messi plays like crap and gets kicked in the face 5 times! That little rat! Muhahahahaha! I hate Argentina!
Bosnia is so underrated. I think they will win. Go Bosnia!
So far I'm finding today to be the most boring day of the world cup so far. I did like Switzerland winning last minute though, well-deserved by how well they were playing. I'm also glad France was beating that awful, aggressive Honduras into submission, and I feel like Bosnia deserves a couple of goals since Argentina is kind of sucking in comparison.

And then Argentina scores again ... sigh, I need to just not talk
Argentina is extremely disappointing
Bosnia is a little bit disappointing too,I expected them to be better than that.
Boring game.
Well, that was an awesome goal by Messi. I still don't like the way Argentina plays, and Messi, Agüero and Di Maria are clearly underperforming.
All of Argentina is underperforming. This is exactly what's happened the last two world cups … they keep talking about Messi all the fucking time and acting like it's Argentina + Messi, and that shit just doesn't work, they are not playing like a team with such players should be playing.
This is what makes me hate the Argentinian national team.
They are like how some players of the England team act in such competitions, for some reason they just can't manage to play their maximum.
At least Bosnia scored once (well, twice, technically-speaking). They deserved that much. Easy contender for 2nd place of the group.
At least goals are happening (unlike 2010). The average is 3 per match it seems.
Iran x Nigeria tomorrow. Sounds awful.

So then that means you are also not a big fan of the Portugal team. :P

GO IRAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Messi stats in the first half: possession lost 15 times and just 12% of forward passes completed, the worst of any player on the pitch.
Second half unfolded in much the same way, with opinion-makers and pundits the world over beginning to despair as they struggled to elevate his few mediocre contributions to the Nth degree.
Then Messi scored a goal:
“A bravura MESSI goal!!! A goal of pure, naked genius!!!! His touches were softer than a butterflies wings and then a surgeons knife cutting slingshot into goal!!! LEO THE LION ROARS! You can only deny genius for so long….no one playing the game on this planet could construct and finish a goal like that…NO ONE!”

So pumped for GER-POR today!
I am into this predictions game and I have no idea who to put today for Germany Portugal. Uruguay and Spain already screwed up my points big time!
Germany is my predicted champion so they better bring their best. My predictions are already pretty off for the other groups …
Very Impressed by Bosnia in the opener. Apart from a very disjointed first 5 minutes they completely bossed the first half, although there was clearly a cutting edge missing up top as nobody supported Dzeko (who didn't have a great game I must add)
In the 2nd half when Argentina opened up more the defence help incredibly well with many perfectly timed challenges. So far Miralem Pjanic looks like the closet thing to Zinedine Zidane in this tournament, With lobs, turns and trickery doing some damage. I'd like to see him get further up the pitch though, as I thought he would have done more damage around the box than in the deep role, especially in the absence of anyone supporting Dzeko (ie. until Ibisevic came on)
I'm not expecting much from Nigeria at this tournament even if they did win the African Cup of Nations last year, although I'm very curious to see Iran play. They're solid defensively and with Queiroz they'll properly play swift counter-attacking style which could make them very handy. I think they'll be Bosnia's main threat to 2nd actually, with Nigeria taking the wooden spoon.

Bloody hell.
I think someone needs a glass of milk and a mild sedative.
I only watched the first half of the Bosnia/Argentina game and boy, did Bosnia dominate. Makes me proud that my country is doing so very well against Argentina. You could literally see the Bosnian players not give a fuck who their opponents were. Messi? Pff please, go home, chibi. If that own goal hadn't happened, Bosnia would've gotten the draw or maybe even pushed further ahead to take the victory. Either way, I am very satisfied by their performance and if they can keep it up, they may very well make it to the next round.

Bosnia were very good, yeah.
Pjanic in particular. He's maintained his form after a great season for Roma last season.
It kind of makes me wonder just how good a Yugoslavia team would have been these days.
Argentina never seemed to really get into top gear, but the switch to bring on my man Gonzalo certainly seemed to help.
During Russia's game I expect to see memes along the lines of "In Russia we play football with IRON ball" lol (its a lot funnier if you imagine it being said with a strong Russian accent)
This would be a pretty nice game I think (Germany vs Portugal). Both of the teams are really good in counters so will be interesting to see who does well. For Germany whatever flank Lahm isn't playing, it will be vulnerable. He might even play as a def mid like how he plays in Bayern. Germany just needs the right combo to hit it big time!
Germany and Portugal to go through for me. Germany as they are… well Germany and Low, despite his odd striker selections, usually gets good performances up to the final rounds. When I saw Portugal in the play-offs, it amazed me how little they had evolved or changed since the Euro's but they are a good side with an outstanding player in Ronaldo.
Ghana did not impresses at the African Cup of Nations, drawing with DR Congo and Burkina Faso, very very very very lucky against Cape Verde who outclassed them. I know they have Essien back and a few changes but they have to perform far better than they did then. I can see the US getting a result with counter-attacking play, particularly if Altidore find his confidence, but wonder if the defence can really hold Portugal and Germany.

Ghana at the ACN was indeed horrible but they were missing key players. Now they are a bit better and at the World Cup the players give everything they got because they are hoping to be seen by a big club. So i have hope that they will at least put a show on
