Anything from baby school up to college or whatever~ what's you most memorable experiences in school?
For me, my best experiences probably came from extra curricular achievements.. Winning a few awards in music and for a short film I made, and then actually graduating my undergrad school with a few people I was friends with
I would say probably the biggest and most proudest turning point was making Symphonic Band midway through 7th grade. I had been stuck in the lower level Concert band, and I was just feeling like I wasn't any good at playing my instrument and I was feeling like giving it up. I got inspired by that idiot cat from The Aristocats to practice a bit more, not to try and make a higher class, but just so I would stop sucking. Because of that, I made 2 class jumps to the highest band class in a year, and I also made it into advanced courses in my regular studies. Idk it really changed my view of myself from this idiot slacker, to someone who could do stuff if I actually worked at it.
Worst experience would be pretending to wipe frog guts on a classmate in science lab and getting in school suspension for a few days. There's been other experiences where I've gotten in trouble or the teacher made me miserable, but this one was kind of special because of how boring the experience was. Lots of writing from the dictionary for days, ugh. I was really scared at first, but going through the experience kind of wizened me up to 'school punishments' and I wasn't ever really that frightened of going to the office after that.
