I they learn the deal Dofla have has Joker I'm sure he will get sent to the level 6.
But Doffy is a celestial dragon. So can they arrest him? This is the basis for laws plan according to my theory. That is screwing up some gears if I do say so myself.
-
By the way, I don't understand the people who say Pica is shorter than Trebol and Diamante.
!
Same height, at least.
-

A CD who is helping a yonkou? I'd said definitely. The same way I'm sure Ceasar would be send to level 6 if he was a CD. They probably don't care when tthe CD are simply being asshole or crime to small degree. But if that threaten the WG himself I'm sure they'll step up.
-
I like how KOL get pissed off like a spoiled brat because he didn't get what he wanted. Law is very overrated.
-
That seems far too simple. But I like it. That's the right idea at least. Thing is Cavendish specifically mentions a reporter and Absalom has been obviously providing that service for a while.
And Moria hates both Doffy and Kaidou.
Where is this info from? I dont remember hearing anything about Absalom since Thriller Bark.
-

Chapter 700, you see Absalom's boat on one of the pages and a brief comment about "Absa" being a mysterious reporter.
-

Seems clear to me Pica is shorter
-
Not necessarily. Oda's played these kind of perspective tricks before.
The person whose point of view we're seeing in that panel is most likely way shorter than all three (look how we're so close the ground, right under the dead soldier), and if Pica is simply farther away than the other two, then he'd look shorter even if he were the same height. But it's likely that Diamante is the tallest, given that he's a long-leg tribesman.

You probably didn't even see the image I posted.

Thanks. I'm just throwing stuff out there. Maybe he's even transmitting to his crew. Where is his crew anyway? I at least know the Marines and other organizations tap Den Den Mushi conversations in general. Especially in the New World. So maybe he's banking on that possibility. Who knows.

Didn't see them. Just an image saying no hotlinkink.

The fact that Trebol is as tall as Doflamingo and we all know Dofla is taller than the Admirals so yeah Trebol looks like a tall dude- this pic though shows all 3 seat members are same height
!

His crew is in Zou. But what good does telling that Dofla is a world noble would do them?
-

Weird. I thought that was only MR.
Fixed.
-
So that's what happened to Dressrosa. It's so clear now. A winged giant came and blocked out the sun and made someone cry over the king.
Yup. Mystery solved.

Regardless, a CDs actions are by definition right since they are the only people that matter according to themselves, and they rule the world. If you want to make laws with new "exceptions" that lists crimes that could possibly get a CD punished, it would have to be passed by the tenryuubitos themsenves and they would take it as an insult as they view themselves as avatars of righteousness who are inherited to eternal gratitude due their ancestors "Building the World"-
This means that if DD feels threatened he, or his family could probably demand that akainu send the full marine fleet after kaidou. Refusing would mean disobeying the law, but the law is like religion for a believer in absolute justice.
-

Unless it transmits not only to the crew but to the entire world as well. I can't imagine the World Goverment and the World Nobles being very friendly to Dofla if he spills their secrets
-
First of all law looked pretty tied up. and broadcasting doflamingos story sounds like a pretty dull idea, no offense. no dramatic impact on the real arc and doesnt change the situation for Law. If Law had any kind of mushi broadcasting whats going on atm to his crew, im sure they in turn would try to contact the strawhats and get them to try to save law.

Since the WG basically does what is need for the preservation of their power there's no way they will let someone fuck with it just because they have the same status. Erasing such a problematic one from history seems like the kind of thing they would do.

Why would they do anything to Dofla for that. It's like he threaten to do it. It would be already done. They would have no interest into punishing Dofla for such matter. And I don't see the problem in what Dofla said. It's just history. In fact the world would probably fear Dofla even more.
-
His crew is in Zou. But what good does telling that Dofla is a world noble would do them?
Well it doesn't have to be them. It could be anyone intercepting the transmission. But I'm just throwing out ideas. Not just saying oh Law got rick rolled and leave it at that.

I'm genuinely trying to get what good would come out from it. And I'm asking you that.

Well Doflamingos actions are not really a secret in the WG. since he abused the shit of his status already, there is undoubtly people around there who knows where he comes from, and how he uses his privelages to keep his pirate-underworld business safe. They know, and they havent done squat about him. Im fact the Gorosei probably always knew since you would expect that at least they know about the history of the WG.
they might even view it in a positive light, regarding it as a CD "Infiltrating the pirate world" wich is the only place where they have no real power.
-
well law got his ass kicked I see and Flamingo was a cestial dragon all along as many have predicted. he must have hated those bubbles and that stupid hair.
The whole Dofla situation is like if prince william was an underground arms dealer and noone could do anything about it

Hmmmmmmmmmmm
Cobra said he was the xth king of Alabasta, yes? It was like 11th or so? That's far too few to be a family older than 800 years. Oda, you made a plothole? :(
As great as it is that people realise queens exist, that is so not a reason this isn't a plot hole. What, jsut on some really assumed semantic basis? I don't know exactly what Cobra said. but it seems the correct assumption to me that if he did use specifically the word 'king', he nonetheless meant 'ruler' or 'sovereign' - in other words, a sovereign queen in between kings would also be counted. Sure, Oda could duck the contradiction now by going "eh, well I guess Cobra was only talking about the male rulers, and sometimes there were females too, which he didn't count!" but that just makes the original line itself really really really really strange.
Does it have to be the immediate offspring of the current King? AFAIK, a King will rule for his entire life. And there is a high chance that his grandchild will succeed his throne? I'm not an expert on this but for example, Queen Elizabeth II - she's still the Queen and next to her is her eldest son, Charles, but he's really old too.. There's a big chance that Charles's eldest son is next in line. You get the picture.
In One Piece, Vivi is NEXT in line to his father but she's not yet the Queen. Maybe Vivi's child or grandchild will be the 13th King? Who knows?
Calling it a plot hole is exaggerating, in my opinion.
I](http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/722/10)n the left middle panel it says 1 person is already retired before the match begins. Was someone in block D taken out beforehand?
I thought it was Farle? Cabbage's horse? Since he left the ring…
-
Not much I can say that hasn't already been said, so here's a list of the little things that piqued my interest;
-Never thought that a dude stealing an entire weapons factory could could be so boring, I never realized how much I didn't care about Caribou until this chapter. I get that this will more than likely play a larger role in the larger Kaido arc (there has got to be ramifications for him losing that factory), I just don't care about Caribou, and am growing increasingly annoyed by his presence.
-Zoro warning Sanji that he's going to get stabbed will never cease to amuse me. Also cool to see Violet again.
-The Brook/Jora scene is one of the top three reasons I continue to read One Piece. Shine on you crazy diamond, Oda.-That last page looks like Issho is holding down Law with whatever power he has.
-
Great Britain has had close to 40 monarchs since 800 years ago…
-
Cavendish's horse is DF user LOL
Would be cool ^___^ -
It was never his since his family left the island without a replacement, without any right to return or he would have taken it without blaming the "current" royal family for the burnings. Leaving a country alone for 800 years, letting it be ruled for 98% of it's existence, takes away all rights, "entitled" or not.
Not when you're a God.

Well quite a few things have fallen into place as this story is moving along, it was well worth the 2 week wait!
I've seen some discussions about how the World Government should be giving Doflamingo a hard time for the confusion he's caused, but I think he doesn't really care about them and I also think that Doflamingo could leave the Shichibukai at any time as he stated 2 years earlier after Marineford. However I think there is something he truly fears, and that is Kaido. And Kaido I believe could care less what the World Government would try to do him if he were to harm Doflamingo for breaking their trade agreement.

Great Britain has had close to 40 monarchs since 800 years ago…
That does sound extreme amount. I got curious about the length of the reigns and looked it up
Really interesting.To quote wiki=
"1603, the crowns of England and Scotland were joined in personal union under James VI of Scotland, who became James I of England. By royal proclamation, James titled himself "King of Great Britain", but no such kingdom was created until 1707, when England underwent legislative union with Scotland to form the new Kingdom of Great Britain, during the reign of Queen Anne"England had more than 40  I tried to count how many but lost count! The fact it lists the 1st and 2nd reigns separate and listed some were disputed (one was proclaimed but never crowned) made it even more confusing.
Many of England's rulers seemed to last only 10 -20 years. Heck from 880s (Alfred the Great 880s-899) to 1000 (Æthelred the Unready, first reign 978-1013) there were 9 kings in a span of 120 years.Since Great Britain formed in 1707, it has had 12 rulers, but many have had short reigns. a lot were 10-20 yrs. Only 3 had reigns longer than 50 years= George III, Victoria & Elizabeth all seemed to reach 61 years.
Just goes to show me that the monarchy system is very complex
-
Completley off-topic but still interesting: Back in the days in old europe before we had official female monarchs, it was not uncommon for incompetent kings to be taken prisoners by their wives, in their own castle, and basicly losing his power to the queen. In those days, it was a constant struggle between the current monarch and powerhungry prominent Lords and Aristocrats. If a King was impopular and reclusive enough, their own wives (who had been married through family arrangements) to turn on them, take one of his political as a lover and conspire togheter. Using her influence at the royal court and her high lord lovers wealth, bannermen and their combined military force to solidify their position as innoficial rulers with the king, still official monarch but practicly a prisoner, and propose new laws that futher officially undermined the kings influence to the point when he was forced to abticate and hand over the power to a royal parlament (hand picked by the queen from her loyal advisors) who would finally sentance the king to death ot exile for incompetence and failing his kingdom.
Edward II is a good example who met a particularly cruel fate.
Yeah, it was sort of like game of thrones. just a little history lesson :)
-
Since Great Britain formed in 1707,
Oh yeah… Meant to say that ENGLAND has had close to 40 monarchs since 800 years ago, LOL.
To be honest, this isn't THAT big of a plot hole, it's whatever to me. But I do have a question about something that was discussed in the spoiler thread. Luffy was able to knock out 50,000 Fishmen with Haoshoku Haki, and Oda stated that Shanks or Rayleigh would have been able to knock out all 100,000 of them.
Now think back to the Battle of Marineford. It was said that there were only 100,000 "elite marines" taking part! Unless this was specifically referring to marines above a certain rank, and there were a ton of lowly serfs there as well, OR it was just a mistranslation...
I mean, it just doesn't sound right to me unless it's one of those two things. There were said to be MILLIONS of soldiers during the attack on Alubarna! Could this also have been a mistranslation?
-
Now that DFs status is official, i guess its safe to say that it might explain his rather sophisticated manner of speech and vocabulary that is quite remarkable for a pirate.
-
lol did caribou just swallowed the whole factory with his DF how much space dose he have dam that's insane
-
lol did caribou just swallowed the whole factory with his DF how much space dose he have dam that's insane
I think Oda has stated that Caribou and Blackbeard can "carry" and absorb an unlimited space.
Thats a scary thing. Imagine if BB got a terminal illness and decided to create a black hole big enough to swallow the entire planet just as a final "if im not going to find one piece, none shall ever find it" in classic final fantasy villain style

The participant who dropped out from D Block:
! He may be planning something. He seems suspicious. We may get to see him later. Bellamy is also supposed to assassinate Luffy right now. He was ordered to do so as soon as Luffy's block finished. It was an enlightening chapter. Loved the scene with Cavendish and Brook. Hopefully Law gets rescued by Luffy. It seems the sunny will definitely arrive at, Green Bit. I'm betting that Rebecca will win D block. Not enough reason/info has been given that says she's weaker than Cavendish except for hype. It would also look really bad if she lost if she's actually going to be the next SH. If she defeats him then it's clear what her bounty will be once she becomes a SH pirate.
-
Im sure ill end up taking this back but as of now i feel like it would serve law right if fuji took him to impel down. The guy has dragged the strawhats into hell, knowing there were risks involved and kept his own crew far away from trouble, and he bossed around on the sunny acting as if he was luffys captain, playing smart and now im actually laughing at him. Even after getting into the trap, all he had to do was call the strawhats his subordinates wich you could actually think from the way he acted on on the sunny.
-
Just read the mangastream version. So anyway….
-Luffy comments on how the next generation shouldn't bear the sins of their last, more or less.
-Donflamingo is part of the family that originally ruled this island, before the Riku family. I get the feeling that these will tie together somehow.
Also, I love how each block has had a different story in it. The last one was a simple brawl between superpowers, in this one Cavendish seems to have it won, but it's not for sure! Even if he is the winner, what would the guy do if he knew about Rebbecca's story? Will the dwarf rebellion start before this battle ends? I love that we have so many possible, and good, things that can happen.
-
meadows is kaido!!?? lol http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-a-Albpd5_y4/T7fGzu00IuI/AAAAAAAAAJs/JIhFxU0Gc1A/s320/Kaidou.jpg

I didn't read last few pages and spoiler discussion properly, so I'm not so sure if some people already post about the possibility there was a "clash" between Donquixote family and others royal family and that made Donquixote family left their position in WG, but even they left the organization, another families still respect them as they are one of the original creator of WG itself. In other words, they are not officially CD but still got respect from CDs, thats why DD is still use his family name, to prove something to other CDs. :ninja:
PS: sorry if my grammar is crap.
-
Even after getting into the trap, all he had to do was call the strawhats his subordinates wich you could actually think from the way he acted on on the sunny.
If he had done that, Doflamingo would have gone straight back to the mainland.
-
To label the entirety of the last 800 years of England's history 'unstable' would be understatement, never mind One Piece, where almost no one seems to die. Consider Pell's eventual fate and yeah, the last 12 rulers dying due to old age sounds about right =)
-

Because the "England" of that time period wasn't some organized illustrious stable medieval state. That's from when the British Isles were like modern Somalia, ragtag Germanic warlords and vikings fighting like vultures over the corpse of Roman Britain.
-
Mangastream version says the Riku King died?

England/UK was pretty stable though.
Only two civil wars that didn't ravage and destroy the country too badly was really good for pre-modern times.
And they got to fight all their other wars off their own land too. -
doffy is FUUUUCKKEEDDD if meadows really is kaidou who showed up to check up on the situation. im excited to see that shit go down
