Recruit/Sky Battle, I choose recruit
While repairing the damages from the Sea King attack at a nearby island, Captain Woody Baby and Spoonfingers were enjoying a meal at a local pub when they heard an explosiong that rocked the surrounding area. Running outside to find the source they noticed a large plume of black smoke rising from a building a block or two down the road. As they approach the buiding they come upon a man being forcibly thrown out of the building. After landing with a crash a large bag was thrown next to him.
"Get out of our town you freakshow, before you burn the whole thing down." exclaimed one of men who threw him into the street.
"You imbeciles will never understand my genius!" cried the ejected man.
Standing up to what was a rather short stature, the man had a bald soot covered head and a long black beard. Though Woody Baby question if the black was natural or explosion induced. After offering the man a drink and getting to know him and particular areas of expertice, the captain decided the man just might be beneficial to the crew and invited him to sail along. Now he just had to make Trappiet agree to it.....

Just saying, it IS possible to lose the game. As said in the manga, many venture to the Grand Line, but many more fail to conquer it. If you lose, you must start over again!
As for the Impel Down rules, I will edit the image and first post later today when I come up with something solid. until then, let us continue to play as it is now. This is just a prototype, and I hope that once we've played enough, and tested enough things out, perhaps we can make a new thraed witha solid foundation!

Confrontation
The Hooting Pirates were sailing peacefully along, Trappiet was busy breaking the new crewmember in, and oddly enough he was enjoying it. All of a sudden they heard a yelp come from Spoonfingers up in the crows nest, he had spotted a ship closing in on stern side. Being the first one to the side with an eyeglass Doctor Pudding Pops quickly broke down the dire situation.
"It's that newly promoted Vice Admiral Elsa Eliane, with her devil fruits and her cannons, and her flags, and you know you'll just end up with justice served in your face."
"I thought she was supposed to be in Paradise!" exclaimed Trappiet
"Guess not," said Woody Baby, "been waiting for a challenge like this, to battlestations Hooting Pirates!!"
Captain Woody Baby knew better then to engage in direct combat with a VA, so transforming into a giant owl he grabbed onto his new crewmate with his talons and took off.
"Be right back, time to see just what our new friend is capable of. Ready to make things go boom Duugan?"
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA….yes"
Flying high over the marine vessel, Duugan began relentlessly throwing vials of various colored liquids. Each one causing more destruction and chaos then the one before it. Eventually he threw down one particularly large vial filled with a black bubbly liquid. It landed directly at the base of the ships mast, instantly exploding and taking a huge chunk out of what been a very thick piece of timber. It started to groan and creak before it began to finally sag over, which lead to even more chaos then before.
"Well that should do it I think." said Woody Baby, "time to return."
"But I'm not out yet!" pleaded Duugan.
"You'll just have to save it for the next time," Woody replied as he flew off with his head turned completely around to see the Vice Admiral give him a look that could kill, "something tells me we'll be seeing then again eventually."

I'm currently working out my character, but I just wanted to add: Shouldn't there be a roll for switching sides? As in pulling a Jango or an X. Drake (Pirate to Marine/Marine to Pirate)? It would probably entail staring out from the bottom of the ladder again (level and crew-wise, that is), but it's definitely something that's happened in the story.
Now back to working out that character of mine. Done.
Initial roll: 158, Pirate

Haki roll: 283, Busoshoku Haki (CoA)
Mugen Pirates
Captain "Vagrant" Mugen, level 5 (CoA Haki)
Total Bounty: 5,000,000
A youth from Dawn Island, Mugen grew up in the trash heaps of the Gray Terminal, making a living by fighting and stealing (which earned him his bounty). Even after the great fire that happened in his early teenage years, he still stuck around and, after the nobles departed, helped to rebuild the place into the dump it once was.
Having grown up in squalor, he started to dream of the outside world and what it held for someone who grew strong and sharp thanks to fighting constantly–assisted by his Haki ability--in order to survive and avoid prison. After hitting his mid-20's, he finally grew tired of his surroundings and decided it was time to leave. Using some of his ill-gotten gains, he purchased a small fishing boat from one of the villagers and supplies from the village, gathered up what little belongings he had, bid farewell to the large windmill in the village and set sail under his freshly-painted flag (a green infinity symbol and crossbones) to become a great pirate...
Roll #8: 527, confrontation!
Still sailing around, looking for crewmembers before he enters the Grand Line, captain Huon spots a green flag on the horizon. "What's this!?", he mutters to himself, "a green flag in a world where pretty much every pirate flag is black and white and marine flags are white and blue?". Anyway, where there's a flag, there's a ship, and where there's a ship, there are people, so there might be someone there who would want to join Huon's crew, so the pirate captain sails towards the flag he has seen.
When Huon gets closer, he sees that his target is a fairly small boat and he decides to take the gamble and attack it on his own. Boarding the enemy vessel, he finds only one pirate, who - in spite of his haki powers - is quickly defeated. Huon demands to know where the rest of the man's crew is, but the man (who is apparently known as "Vagrant" Mugen) tells Huon that he just left his island the other day and that he hasn't had a chance to recruit any crewmembers yet.
Not one to shatter a fellow-pirate's dreams at such an early stage, Huon decides to let Mugen go and both pirates start looking for crewmembers elsewhere…

Roll #2: 829, Haki
Haki Roll: 793, Kenbunshoku Haki (CoO)
Not too long after setting off, the new Captain spots a larger ship slowly approaching his meager one. Confident in his abilities, Mugen welcomes the challenge as the pirate Captain known as Huon boards his small vessel. "You're taking me on by yourself? You sure got a big pair on you, pal," Mugen taunts, engaging the invader. Surprisingly (or perhaps not), Captain Huon gains the upper hand rather quickly and subdues Mugen.
After being pressed about any crew mates, Mugen admits to only having set sail a few days ago. "Finish me," he challenges, upset over being bested in combat in his very first encounter. The man standing over him declines, however, stating that he's not one to trample over a fellow pirate's ambitions and boards his own ship again, departing on his search for more crew members.
One good thing did result from the encounter, though, as Mugen realizes he possesses Observation Haki. Feeling elated due to his discovery, he decides to spend the time before encountering land or another ship experimenting with his newly awakened ability…

Roll #3: 816, Recruit/Sky Battle (Picking Recruit)
As Mugen continues to sail, growing listless with every passing moment due to the lack of land, he suddenly spots an object in his periphery. Turning around, he notices what looks like a person hanging onto a large piece of wood in the distance. "Shit, looks like someone's having worse luck than me," he remarks, grabbing his oars and rowing in the direction of the castaway.
Upon reaching the person, Mugen gently jostles them with one of his oars, "Hey, you. You alive?" he calls out. Upon being stirred from their stupor, the castaway lifts up their head, revealing an attractive woman with a short hairdo. She's clearly disoriented, looking in his general direction but not directly at him, "Who… are you?" she asks in her delirium.
Mugen moves the oar toward her hands, "We'll get to that after you get out of the water. Come on, grab it and come aboard," he urges her, pulling her onto his small boat once she grabs hold of it. "What happened to you?" he asks, tossing her one of his spare shirts so she can either change into it or use it to dry herself off. She grabs the shirt and removes her own without hesitation, changing into the dry one and wringing out the water from her soaked shirt.
[hide]"Sailed too close to a larger ship, so I capsized," she replies with a heavy sigh. "I'll never be able to join the Kuja Pirates now…"
Mugen raises an eyebrow, interested in her remark, "The Kuja Pirates, huh? So, you're a fellow pirate?"
She cocks her head up, staring deep into his eyes, "Yeah! Wait, you're a pirate? In this dinghy?" she blurts out, laughing a bit.
"I don't think you're in any position to laugh, missy!" he retorts, not too amused at having his ship insulted, considering he had to pay for it out of pocket.
"Right, sorry," she replies, still smirking. "By the way, my name's Felicia Hart, but some people call me 'Sweet'. And you are?"
"Mugen is the name. I also go by 'Vagrant' Mugen, at least according to the Marines."
"Nice to meet you, Mugen. So, this is your ship, huh? If you're a pirate, where's your crew?"
"You're lookin' at him. I only set out about a day ago, so I've yet to run into anyone. Well... I did run into someone, but he handed me my ass and moved on, also in search of crew mates."
Upon hearing that, Felicia bursts into uproarious laughter, clutching her sides as it increases in volume and intensity. Mugen just sits there with his arms crossed and a stern look on his face, not at all amused by the girl's mocking laughter. At least initially, anyway, cracking a smirk as her laughter finally subsides and she wipes some tears from her eyes.
"Took you long enough," he scolds.
"Sorry, but I just found it funny that we both ran into misfortune so early in our journeys! Anyway, yes, I set off with the goal of joining the Kuja Pirates, under Boa Hancock's leadership. You've heard of them, right?"
"Despite how I may look, I do keep up to date with current events," he teases. "Yes, I know of them. Haven't heard much news regarding them lately, though. What are your skills, anyway?"
Cocking her fist back, she delivers a strong right jab to Mugen's jaw, sending him reeling backward. He's stunned. Slowly righting himself, he rubs his throbbing jaw, exhaling as he looks at her.
"You know, you could've simply said you were a fighter," he laughs, wincing as he does.
"Yeah, but usually when I do that, all I get is laughter, so I decided to try out a new strategy. What do you think?"
"Effective…" he remarks. "That was without Haki, too. Damn, lady, you really pack a wallop; I'd love it if you were to join my crew. What do you say? Care to become the first member the Mugen Pirates?"
She rests her chin on her knee, furrowing her brow as she mulls it over. Mugen rests against the side of his boat, soaking his face with cold seawater to try to prevent his cheek from swelling. "Damn, this chick is tough. If that hit had been a bit harder, I probably would've lost some teeth. Not to mention it came so quickly that I didn't have time to sense it. I need her in my crew," he ponders to himself, turning to see if Felicia's still lost in thought.
"Can you fight?" she asks bluntly. "After all, you said you got your ass kicked not even a day ago, and I almost knocked you out just now."
Mugen laughs at her question, "I don't blame you for asking that, Felicia. Yes, I can fight, I'm just adjusting a bit to being out of my small pond…"
"Prove it," she challenges, putting up her fists.
"Gladly," he replies, doing the same and coating them in Armament Haki.
He swings low and catching her in the ribs slightly, since she did attempt a block. Felicia smirks, replying with a hard knee to his midsection, causing the small boat to rock from the motion of the two having their duel. Mugen repays her earlier punch with one of his own, sending her tumbling into the mast, almost causing the boat to capsize. She gives him a bloody smirk, lunging at him and striking repeatedly at his midsection...
A few minutes later, both of them are laying on their backs, bruised, bloody and exhausted. Through their fists, they worked out the negotiations, proving to each other that they have what it takes to make it and that they'd surely make a great team.
"I'm... in..." Felicia replies between ragged breaths, extending her hand toward Mugen.
"Welcome... to the Mugen Pirates," he replies, clutching her hand firmly and shaking it. "Let's show this world what we're made of, Felicia..."[/hide]Mugen Pirates

Roll #9: Recruit/Sky Battle (I choose to recruit, finally!)
Without a navigator, captain Huon's ship has drifted off its course to a remote corner of an obscure sea without many inhabitants... or islands, for that matter. Trying to find his way back to a more well-known part of the world, Huon suddenly spots one of the few islands that exist in this sea. He decides to anchor his ship there for a while to see if he can find some fruit or meat to replenish his supplies.
When Huon goes ashore he sees some palm trees with coconuts, he tries to climb one of them when suddenly a coconut hits him in the back of the head. He jumps down, turns around and sees an angry man dressed in completely black clothes standing there. "Back off! Those are my coconuts!" the man shouts. "Ok, calm down... I'm sure there are more trees on this island. I'll just go get some coconuts there, and then I'll be on my way", Huon replies.
The man's face lights up. "On your way?" he asks, "does that mean you have a ship? Can you take me with you?"
Huon is surprised to hear this, he didn't expect to find a new recruit here, but if this guy wants to join his crew, then that's great! Especially since the man proceeds to tell Huon that he used to be a pretty good cannoneer on another crew, but his old ship got wrecked in a storm and he drifted to this remote island, where he has been living ever since.
The man introduces himself as Billy Bill Midnight, and he and Huon gather some coconuts and set sail towards new adventures. Yarr!

One-Eye Henry, lvl 20 (Impel Down)
Total bounty: 95,000,000

Well, all things seem to be going fairly well for the Bare-Chest Pirates. Captain Hito and Sharp Swords Sparrow have been sailing onwards towards Reverse Mountain, though we have gotten into a lot of trouble along the way. Lost two crew members, but we're ready to rebound! Though… without a navigator, we ended up sinking and having to fight off some nasty sea kings in an undersea battle!
Rolled a 363. I need 700, but with my Busoshoku Haki, I only need 350! So, luckily, Captain Hito sends a Busoshoku punch straight at the sea king, sending him flying and the rest fleeing. Exhausted, however, we wash up on a shore and some locals tend to our wounds. Well, we'll need a new ship now, but at least we're getting stronger!

Having sailed aimlessly for a few days, since their compass fell overboard during their initial meeting, Mugen and Felicia spot a small island off in the distance. Ecstatic to finally see something other than water, they each grab an oar and paddle furiously until they hit land. Mugen takes care of securing the boat to a tree that's close to shore, while Felicia happily rolls around in the sand.
[hide]"You're sure carefree, Felish."
"Do you know how long we've been drifting along without knowing where we were going?! Damn right I'm happy to finally see some land!"
"Relax, I'm happy to finally set foot on dry land, too. Besides, the reason we lost our compass is because someone decided a small boat was the perfect place for a fistfight…"
"Keep bringing that up and we can have a longer one right here!"
"Actually, I think us staying here for a while and training wouldn't be such a bad idea."
The two of them plop down on the sand next to each other, enjoying the feeling of not being rocked by the waves. They both shut their eyes, pondering their situation individually and realizing that, even in East Blue, they're just two small fry rookies with very little experience. They both sit up at the same time, turning to each other and nodding quietly in agreement.
"You're right, Mugen, we should hang out here and pump ourselves up."
"Glad you agree, Felish. I know for a fact that my Haki needs work, especially my Observation Haki, since you slipped way too many hits by me during our little sparring match."
"I'm just that good!" she replies with a cocky wink.
"Oh, shut up," Mugen shoots back.
Both of them pull their boat onto the shore and properly secure it, making sure their flag is safely stowed away to ensure that–in case anyone happens upon the island--no one disturbs them. With their task complete, they both wander into the forest to begin their training.
[An unspecified amount of time passes.]
Emerging from the forest, Mugen and Felicia both look considerably more rugged. Mugen's hair has grown longer than he's used to, and his beard and goatee are considerably thicker than they were before the beginning of training. His body has also changed, with his muscles becoming more clearly defined and a bit larger. He checks to make sure that Felicia isn't watching and flexes a bit, quite pleased with himself.
"Want me to leave you alone for a bit?" she quips, having turned around right as he started to flex.
"Shut up!" he shoots back, turning his face away to hide his embarrassment.
Felicia's hair grew out considerably as well, extending a bit past her shoulders. Not being used to it, and preferring her old, short hairdo, she grabs the dagger that she keeps at her hip, and begins cutting away at her locks until they've reached a satisfactory length. Her musculature has also grown more defined over the training period, now making it quite clear that she's not a woman to be taken lightly. She follows Mugen's example and flexes her muscles, but feels absolutely no shame as she does so.
"It's been a while since I've seen the shore…" Mugen muses out loud as he and Felicia carry their boat back to the sea's wet embrace.
"I know. Still, our stay here was well worth it," she replies, punctuating her reply by effortlessly tearing a chunk out the nearest tree with a punch.
"Easy, killer! Save some of that for any hostiles we might happen to run into."[/hide]The two share a laugh as Mugen hangs their flag once again and watch as it proudly waves in the cool breeze. Making sure they haven't left anything behind, they board their small vessel and Felicia unfurls the sail, setting them adrift once again. They both turn and wave goodbye to the island as it shrinks in the distance, thankful that they happened to find it. After the island is nothing but a speck, they face each other and grin, anxious to see what adventures await them next…

A gust a wind then blows open their flag.
Captain Rob's face falls. "Arr… ye wouldn't happen to be pirates, would ye?"

Roll #10: 566, yay, I get to recruit again! :D
Captain Huon and his new cannoneer Billy Bill Midnight are discussing what kind of new crewmembers they need and where the place would be to find these crewmembers, when they spot yet another island (all my stories seem to start like this :P). They approach the island where they see a man sitting on the dock, playing a fiddle. As they sail into the port the man jumps up, runs towards the ship, jumps aboard and shouts: "Quick, turn around and sail away as fast as you can!"
He starts to explain that there's a pretty big and important marine base on this island and that it's not safe for pirates at all. He is a pirate himself, but he doesn't have a bounty and as long as he acts as a musician - which he is as well - they don't bother him here. But he's been looking for a chance to get away from the island anyway.
Huon and Billy look at each other and agree that they could use this guy on there crew. The fiddle-player accepts their proposal and introduces himself as Don Rocco III.

That's a nice number, let me see what that is...
reads: Impel Down
How can a character of mine escape ID when I'm just starting out?
Now I'm confused. Maybe I shouldn't have tried...
Hmm… I would like to propose a rule change that would hopefully mitigate the problem Trapped just ran into. How about if you roll Impel Down, you can add to your crew any one person in ID, whether they came from your crew or not.
Like a member from another crew? Or make one up?
A member from another crew.
But only someone who has been put in ID, right? I wanna take Maneater Trappiet from Baby Woody :(
Lemme see if I can steal something from Kitty…
"Maneater" Trappiet ain't going anywhere, she owes a great debt to Woody Baby and isn't the type to not make good on her debts.
If Hito is okay with this rule and adds it, Imma break Captain Kitsune Inferrrigno free from Impel Down and have him join my crew.
Except that Ivankov got his paws on him just before he boarded my ship, so he's now female. We call her Captain Kitsuni Inferrigna! Kitty Flare for short
But um, how does Kitty actually play now?

Just saying, it IS possible to lose the game. As said in the manga, many venture to the Grand Line, but many more fail to conquer it. If you lose, you must start over again!
As for the Impel Down rules, I will edit the image and first post later today when I come up with something solid. until then, let us continue to play as it is now. This is just a prototype, and I hope that once we've played enough, and tested enough things out, perhaps we can make a new thraed witha solid foundation!
I'd imagine he would make a new crew.
Well, if you roll something like Impel Down on your first roll, nothing happens and you can just go on to your next roll. It's a more important square to roll on when you're further into the game.
As for the suggestion of being able to take anyone who was in Impel Down, its a pretty good idea, and if you guys really like it, I'll add it in, but it would require someone to make an easily available list of all the people in Impel Down, which could get complicated fast. Otherwise, there might be a player who has like a lvl 80 char in Impel Down, but hasn't posted since page 5, so someone could technically claim him even though no one knew he was in Impel Down on the newer pages.
Actually, that brings up something else. Should players that don't play for awhile have their crews "deactivated"? Like, if someone hasn't posted in the last X pages, their ID members and alliances cease until they play again?
If we did that, we could just keep ID members listed as they are now, on individual player posts, and you would only have to look a few pages back to see everyone that's eligible.

Also gonna take a turn, so the game keeps moving.
Happening Roll: 136, recruit.
During a resupply stop at a small island, the Durandal run into a fellow marine named Glen, an old friend of Walter's from childhood. They had joined the marines together, and went their separate ways when they were sent to different posts following boot camp. Glen tells them that although this island is in the grandline, little happens here, and he's often bored out of his mind. Elsa offers to let him join up with them, to which Glen eagerly agrees. A few days later, Glen's transfer request is approved, and the Durandal set off again.

Vice Admiral Elsa Eliane lvl 75 (125 in battle - Paramecia DF)
Darril Traubel lvl 25 (75 in battle - Paramecia DF)

Octavia Melody lvl 25
Vinyl Scratch lvl 25
Lyra Heartstrings lvl 20(Impel Down)

So I just take a new roll instead of adding Kitty to my crew?

--- Update From New Post Merge ---
Happenings Roll, Second Try: 877
Training Arc > Gain 10 levels
Captain Trappelicious Lv15
Devil fruit power: Will remain a dormant secret until the day she is reunited with Trappiet. Till then, her main goal and sole focus is to retrieve her from the clutches of Baby Woody. And/or gain Kitty Flare as a member of her crew.
Roll: 133
New Recruit
Cliché Pirates:
Captain "Bad hygiene" Rob: level 35 (85 in battle)
Total Bounty: 40,000,000
Tom "Totally not a mutineer" Bilger: level 5 (Impel Down)
Rolled a 61! That means, Alliance! Captain Hito immediately thinks back to Captain Huon who completely defeated him a few weeks back. Man, if only they had a strong guy like that on their crew, then maybe they'd get somewhere! They're also curious to learn what ever happened to One-Eye Henry and if he ever got to that marine he was after.
"Oi, Captain Huon!" yells Captain Hito as his new boat (which he stole from the village who helped him out). "What d'ya say we make a pact? You help me out, and I'll help you out! Only fools enter the Grand Line alone!"
Captain Huon sees another pirate ship approaching. As it gets closer, he recognizes the flag of the Bare-Chest Pirates that he defeated some weeks ago. He orders Billy Bill Midnight get to his post at the cannons, in case the approaching pirate crew is looking for revenge. But it turns out that this is not the case. As soon as they are in shouting-range, captain Hito of the Bare-Chest Pirates yells something about starting an alliance. Huon can see that Hito, as well as "Sharp Swords" Sparrow have gotten stronger since he last met them, he looks at his own crew and they nod in agreement.
As Captain Hito's ship comes alongside that of Captain Huon, the two crews share a barrel of rum to celebrate their new alliance. Huon tells Hito about One-Eye Henry's fate in Impel Down and they agree to try to break the unfortunate navigator out of there when they're strong enough.
(I actually mistyped "Bare-Chest Pirates" as "Bear-Chest Pirates" just now, which was pretty cool, haha :P)
Also, I think the idea that you can break anyone out of Impel Down is pretty neat. Maybe with the restriction that the prisoner can't be more than X levels higher than your main character or than the average level of your crew or something.
! Characters currently in Impel Down:
! Marine Unit Durandal:
Lyra Heartstrings, lvl 20 (not sure if this one counts, since she's a marine)
! Aaron Pirates:
Burgorrs N Freyes, lvl 20
! Huon Pirates:
One-Eye Henry, lvl 20
! Hooting Pirates:
Lord Natas, lvl 15
! Cliché Pirates:
Tom "Totally not a mutineer" Bilger, lvl 5
! Bare-Chest Pirates:
Cabin Boy McFin Finnikin, lvl 5
! (I just named the unnamed crews after their captain for now)
I think if you were allowed to break someone out of IMpel Down, they shouldn't be a higher level than your Captain, and that means that we would run into the same problem we were originally trying to solve: rolling Impel Down on your first roll and not being able to do anything. This is why I think for now Impel Down should be as it is. It's a roll for a more developed crew, and people just starting off can skip it with no problem.
I do like the idea of being able to take anyone from Impel Down. I definitely want to expand this game, perhaps make the game board larger with more varying things that could happen to a crew/marine. Also, one inequality I've noticed is that pirates are the only ones who can get sent to Impel Down, while the worst thing that can happen to a marine is that they lose 5 levels in a Confrontation. They should have some other more severe punishment… Something equal to Impel Down.
What I've thought of is that the winning pirate crew in a Confrontation can kidnap the weakest character of the marine squad, and the marine would have to roll a 444 or 777, or land on Impel Down, to get that crew member back.
Anyway, quick roll! 225
After the Huon Pirates team up with the Bare-Chest Pirates, Hito and his crew continue onwards. They stop by a small port to grab some supplies, and what do you know, bandits attack! Need 200. I roll 80.
Oh boy. Let's see.
80(my roll)+40+25+58(from the Huon Alliance)= 203! YES!
The alliance had already paid off! Those bandits are sent running and will surely spread the word about the new alliance in the blue seas, Huon-Bare-Chest Alliance! + 5 levels
Bare-Chest Pirates:
Captain Hito lvl 45
Sharp Swords John Sparrow lvl 25
Total Bounty: 70,000,000
Alliance: Huon Pirates
Impel Down: Cabin Boy McFin Finnikin lvl 5
What I've thought of is that the winning pirate crew in a Confrontation can't kidnap the weakest character of the marine squad, and the marine would have to roll a 444 or 777, or land on Impel Down, to get that crew member back.
I'm good with this.
Happening Roll: 634, Sky/Sea Battle

Just a small note, I meant "CAN" in the above quote, not can't, haha. Anyway, I will let a few other people post their ideas and roll before I take my next turn.
Rolled 481, Haki.
Rolled 238, Busoshoku.
Still a Petty Officer, level 15.
Maybe for Marines, unpaid leave?
Happenings roll: 181
Well now I'm at Impel Down again… So I can choose to take a member of someone else's crew, if they are
Let's do this!
Initial Roll: 45 -> Pirate (good good)
Happenings: 225 -> Land/Sea Battle: 140 -> :/
The Silent Seafarers have been born consisting of one member so far, namely "Deathly Hush" Mattin.
After a long night in the local bar, Mattin was just about to embark on new adventures when a group of ruffians bravely closed in on him. It was all over a few moments later. A robbed and bleeding Mattin slowly crawled toward the harbor where his boat was waiting for him. Surely this incident wouldn't need to be mentioned when future generations would be telling the story of the Silent Seafarers. Mattin would make sure of that.
Silent Seafarers
"Deathly Hush" Mattin, Lvl 5 (Injured for 5 more turns)
Total Bounty: 5.000.000 (apparently the nearest marine station was too far away to make this worthwile)
Roll #11: 423, sea battle!
(I roll 279 -> 279+115(crew lvl)+35(half alliance lvl)=429)
A marine ship has been chasing Huon's ship for a while now and they have finally caught up. The marines start shooting their cannons, while Billy Bill Midnight returns fire. Standing there at his station in his pitch-black outfit, like a silhoutte outlined against the clear blue sky, he shouts at Huon that he's almost out of gunpowder. Huon and Rocco draw their weapons and Billy fires some last shots before he joins them as the marines close in and prepare to board the pirate ship.
The situation is looking grim, since the marine-crew vastly outnumbers Huon's three-man crew. The pirates manage to hold off the marines who are jumping aboard their ship for a while, but more and more marines keep appearing before them and they are worried they may not be able to keep this up.
Luckily, Captain Hito's ship is not too far away and, alerted by the sound of cannonfire, the Bare-Chest Pirates have entered the scene. As soon as they are in range, Hito's cannons start firing and quickly manage to sink the marine ship with some well-aimed shots. With no more new marines pouring onto their ship, Huon and his crewmates manage to fight off the last few enemies who were still on board. The rest of the marines try to swim to a nearby island and Huon and Hito celebrate the effectiveness of their alliance.
+10 lvls
Crew:
Captain Huon, lvl 75 (busoshoku haki)
Billy Bill Midnight, lvl 30
Don Rocco III, lvl 20
One-Eye Henry, lvl 20 (Impel Down)

Well now I'm at Impel Down again… So I can choose to take a member of someone else's crew, if they are <lv15, right?<="" blockquote="">Not sure. I think Hito meant that we weren't gonna implement that rule after all and that Impel Down would remain as it is now…</lv15,>
Roll: 928
Confrontation again… fuck
Cliché Pirates: 90 < Huon's Crew: 125 + 35
A pirate alliance floating by Rob doesn't like it when he bellows insults and taunts at them, so they promptly feed him and his kidnapped orphan a few cannonballs.
Cliché Pirates:
Captain "Bad hygiene" Rob: level 35 (85 in battle)
"Vermin" Annie: level 5 (Injured or stolen or something)
Total Bounty: 40,000,000
Tom "Totally not a mutineer" Bilger: level 5 (Impel Down)
Happening Roll: 727, Training Arc
The trip through the Grandline still remains fairly uneventful, the Durandal take advantage of the opportunity to further hone their skills.
Marine Unit Durandal:
Vice Admiral Elsa Eliane lvl 85 (135 in battle - Paramecia DF)
Darril Traubel lvl 35 (85 in battle - Paramecia DF)
Walter Feng lvl 25
Glen Duval lvl 25
Octavia Melody lvl 25
Vinyl Scratch lvl 25(injured, 4 turns)

Well now I'm at Impel Down again… So I can choose to take a member of someone else's crew, if they are <lv15, right?<="" blockquote="">That sounds fine to me, but then again, maybe we shouldn't assume anything until Hito updates his picture or states the exact rules more clearly.</lv15,>
