Hehehe…....luffy undoing what his crazy granfather did is just awesome. Now chinjao might side up with luffy since he put his head back to its normal shape.
I think there wont be any block D because cavendish wants to kill luffy now.. so does bellamy ....barto will get involved .....jesus will confront luffy...rebecca might side with luffy causing a big fight backstage:ninja:
One Piece 719: Open Chinjao

OMG this chapter
My sides are still hurting
-
Why didnt the audience or Gatz san recognize Luffy? He used a gum gum Move. Inflated his arm.
My explanation would be that, the first move grabbing Chinjaos head by stretching the arms was way to fast for the specators to see. The THOR Elephant gun maybe gave a huge flash when colliding with Chinjaos head so no one could, otherwise i could not explain it. I mean he is quite famous. Why the disguise if people even dont recognize his signature DF Moves with the stretching and all. In the panel before the blow his arm seems to be stretched out like 10-20 meters and his fist huge as fuck. It is obviously the mugiwara. Anyone has another explanation?
Because most people don't know what Luffy's power is. Strawhat on his bounty gives no clues, and everything we've seen suggests it isn't just reported normally in the newspapers. Hell, in Saobondy even the marines didn't realize he had a DF
-
It's a new spot …
Yea, that's what I thought as well, it's just another spot on the island / continent..
-
I've stopped watching the anime a long time ago but I think when the episode comes out where don chinjao falls down on his head and splits the arena I'll be there to watch it. That's just too hilarious.

Well it's been proved several times that random people don't know what famous pirates use for skills, shit even marine fodders didn't know what WB's df was… I don't find it that surprising that people in the NW don't know about SHluffy's gomu gomu fruit...

The biggest disappointment for me in this chapter was the announcer saying that this was the colosseum's best fight in history. It was enough that Luffy beat a legend(even though he was out of his prime and lost his main skill), but why give him more unnecessary praise? It's nicer in my opinion when the reader can gather how epic something is for themselves and not have to be told flat out. Luffy really pulled a Sanji in this chapter though, fixing Chinjao's cranial structure and whatnot.

Is there anyone think that Jesus Burgess is now Jesus the Phoenix? Look at his belt. I think that's foreshadowing from Oda-chan long time ago.. :) -
Anyone else think that when he split the ground, we would see the factory underneath?
-
can anybody please link me to other manga sites where i can read latest chapter? thank you! no mangahere/mangastream though. post as many as you can thanks again!
nvm. found a good one that isnt blocked here in school. thanks anyway! off to read ^_^
-

Nah… There is water in the bottom. Logically factory is under the foundation of Colosseum
-
No its not foreshadowing, he had that belt when he was first introduced.
-
@Old:
lol don chinjao his head hahahahahahah
Off topic, but, does "dat @ss" belong to Claudia Sampedro?
Anyways, great chapter, liked the quick and effective back story that was provided to us. In the end, Luffy not only defeated Chinjao but restored his future by re shaping his head back into its former structural self.
Garp always has been and will be a tank, Roger's strength also has been explained to us once again. Defeating the Yonkou and Admirals can be considered equivalent to Roger's strength. Now I may have misunderstood, but, is Chinjao saying that there were Yonkou during the time of Roger? I mean the admirals are a given.
Burgess, Cavendish, and Barto are all extremely anxious to draw blood from Luffy, it will be interesting to see what happens.
-
Looks like Strawberry's not the only one with a long head.
I also find it weird how Chinjao thinks the new generation aren't worthy enough to take on the New World.
They seem to be doing pretty good if you ask me.
-
Someone else may have mentioned this, but I believe that Chinjao's family needed Ace's devil fruit in order to melt the treasure free from the icy glacier.
-
Is luffy's thor elephant gun have electricity like the giganto thor axe he used to defeat shiki?
-
@Monkey:

yeah … that's what i see

yeah as you though
-
Physically, it's great that Luffy can solve individual and social problems of the past. Chinjao's the real winner of block C - the man'll get his treasures back.
Meanwhile, it's gotta' be Cavendish trouncing Rebecca, right? Right? Comparing their panel-time, Cavendish is way ahead of Rebecca. When was the last time we saw her? Crymaxing over some Toy?
There's gonna' be 4 guys who want to personally fxck up Luffy. I hope that we get to see some MonkeyXJesus action.

well did you not read the chapter? Fire didn't work right?
But still making a fire and being fire are on quite different levels… I guess we'll have to wait and see, but we might never know for sure

I think we'll be surprised by rebecca, but she won't be able to win the block, she'll get overwhelmed imo

I think no, that's just the haoshoku haki effect same as last time. There are no thunderclouds, and I doubt that luffy can also generate electriciy now (if he can, due to haki, that's awesome!).
-
about the electric impact,i cant avoid to remind this haki user ally of whitebeard

@The:
I like that Garp and Chinjao had sort of a competetion going on…Like, Garp specifically trains to bust in Chinjaos head. But I'll need a better trans to get the gist of Chinjaos talk of the Worst Generation; I think he means that Teach is the only one worth a damn?
not after his head grow up

ow often do people not sa on television that what there are seeing now is the best thing that ever happened, or something along these lines. its just an expression te point out that something quit epic has happened
-
I wonder where the guy who said that Chinjao didn't crack the continent is.
to be fair to that guy,Chinjao only destroyed a iceberg size field….continent is way big thing and i guess those were just legend to suggest how strong he really was...
-
Great Garp as always, i hope he give the same training to Coby …
Funny story, end of block C, we can move on now :) -

An iceberg sized field? He cracked the entire thing. That was stated already.

I don't but that Luffy was involved in the war, people must know how his power works.

This is amazing.

This was 1/10 for Awesome prime garp head mushing proclaimed mountain busting goodness. But Bellamy shot it to 11/10.

Because its part of his job as an announcer to hype the hell out of shit.
Awesome chapter and a satisfactory conclusion to Block C, anyone who was expecting an "end of arc" fight is fooling themselves.
Oda took something that could have been easily happened off panel and turned it into the most fun this series has been in years. -
Great chapter. Wonder if the block D will take place or not.

maybe they don't know he has a df.. i'm sure those significant in the OP world would know but the general public? mm

Holy HAhahahahahahahahahahahahhahhahahahah
-
I'm reading the chapter… There isn't a page missing (like the past chapter)?
I mean we saw directly Garp young without interraction before or arrival. -

Don Chinjao ate Cartoonic Zoan Fruit. Model Patrick Star. Hilarious!
-
So if that is Ka No Kuni, it is directly on the ice continent.
One could also speculate that this is the place in which Oz froze to death…wich would mean Moria stole a body from both Ka and Wa No Kuni. -
I didn't know the chapter was out already, some times it takes all day so I was going to come back later to check, glad I didn't wait thanXD
It was an awesome chapter, flashbacks of Garp and fun battle between Luffy / Don, glad we didn't keep switching between plots like we have been as of late. The reactions of every one finding out who Lucy was Luffy was great, now he's got three people out to get him though, wonder how that will work out in the end? Should be good though.
Looks like will have a break from the tournament a bit, kind of reminds me of Dragon Ball Z when the ring got messed up and they had to take a break due to that, pretty cool. Can't wait to see this get animated.
-
yeah this is classic one piece
it really had everything great about the series. definitely the best chapter of this arc and maybe even the best since the timeskipalso I still think Bartolomeo is on Luffy's side. he has yet to say anything to definitively express his hatred for Luffy; all of his dialogue in that respect has been noticeably ambiguous. even in this chapter, despite his sinister face, what he's saying could easily mean he's going to protect Luffy from Cavendish (and Cavendish' subsequent response would be appropriate). also Bellamy has really become an awesome character
-
Bellamy looked annoyed that the two were talking smack about Luffy…I think he may be another enemy charmed onto Luffy's side.
-
Hey, with this factory plot going on it looks like block d might get interrupted. Wouldn't it be funny if Cavendish wins Block D only to get the rug pulled from under him? Right as he thinks he's gotten victory the crowd finds out Luffy's crew destroyed Donflamingo's factory, probably beat some of the Donflamingo family, and maybe even stole the Mera mera fruit (since I can't imagine them staying long after that). Luffy would completely eclipse him! Meanwhile, Rebecca is reunited with her newly human boyfriend right as she thinks she's lost everything.
Ha, it probably wouldn't happen like that, but that'd still be pretty funny.
-
For the first time in a long while I nearly lost it when I saw young Chinjao. Even after I red the spoilers yesterday I wasn't prepared for that.
The action was awesome, the dialogue interesting, the humor friggin funny, the art great and the end of the fight must be among the most badassingly hilarious (or hilariously badass?) scenes I've seen in quite some time.
Awesome reaction scenes from Cavendish (loving this guy), Bartolomeo (loving this guy), Bellamy (really loving this guy) and Burgess (yeah, you get the point) rounded a perfect package.
And fucking prime Garp. Motherfucking prime Garp.
Yeah, this is definitely the good stuff.
The only thing that left me wondering is: did Oda screw up last week with that Marine Ship? But. . .who fucking cares right now?
-
I wonder if Oda thought this up simply looking for a way to break the ground
-
So…. Garp did train in order to face DC.
That takes the "another pirate Garp defeated" label off Chinjao and makes Luffy's victory even greater. -
Great Chapter.
About the battleground being sliced in two makes me curious. It's obvious that Oda is planning something with that. What I can think right now is that Diamante or another strong guy will make appearance and somehow fix the ground and everyone will be shocked by his powers.
But it can also be that the characters are going to fight like that and maybe a 1 on 1 fight Cavendish in one of the sliced arena while Rebeca on the other and then they jumb to each other giving the final blow for the winner.
It can also be that due to that the tournament will be postponed or smth!
Can't really wait for next chapter as to see if this the fight is going to continue. If it does maybe Cavendish won't have time to go after Luffy but if the D block does not start than we can see a mini backdoor fight with Luffy Cavendish and maybe (Barto and Burgess).. -
Is it just me, or did the sound effect that came to mind when Lucy punched Chinjao's head back into its original form sound an awful lot like a cash register opening like in a Looney Tunes cartoon?
-
I bet the reason the Happou Navy participated was to get the Mera Mera no Mi to melt that ice. Now that Chinjao has his head back, he'll be off to the sunset to enjoy his retirement lol.
-
Chinjao is able to open the ice easily by with his pointed head but how did he close it ?
Probably Aokiji, messing with people for fun xD
-
Why is everyone so sure that the Ka no kuni guys wanted Ace's fruit for the ice? I feel like that's more of Chinjao's grudge than a whole country affaire.
In fact, their plan was to bring Sai to the finals, not the Don. And yet, the treasure obsession sems to come solely from Chinjao, so I'm inclined to think their hunt for the fruit had some other motives.
-
Loved this chapter. Hilarious way to end the fight with Chinjao's head being punched back to its original form.
