Caribou's story continues! ….wait, did Gaburu just show up? Who's Granny smiling at?
We head 30 minutes into the past to see just how Sanji knew of the false report...many people from the beginning of the arc predicted the Violet thing would be a trap, myself included.
I have mixed feelings on the matter. It's definitely frustrating to see Sanji's love for women getting him into hot water yet again (I wanted him to learn better), but it is different from the Kalifa situation, as people have pointed out. Sanji knew the latter was an enemy, but not the former. He honestly believed her plea for help was genuine. Maybe not entirely because Violet was a woman, but more that the emotion/tears were strong and seemed honest???
Granted, I'm not exactly happy, either. Eh….
moving on, Violet has some mind reading DF (a bit inconsequential, but no different from Monet having a snow logia), and she allows Sanji to see the events of prior...CP0 told the island not to follow the published report, that Doflamingo is still king and warlord....bypassing Marine HQ. Now I'm curious to learn more about them.
Violet does some....extremely odd yet somehow awesome whale attack, and defeats the Donquixote mob.
Meanwhile, Luffy and the rest of C Block are ready to begin! About time! Although, the trap has worked flawlessly....Luffy is too distracted and most of his crew (+Law) are now in serious danger.
Jumping back to Law's group, Fujitora and Doflamingo are closing in. Not good. Doflamingo meets face-to-face with Law with no doubt a "I'm gonna make you suffer horribly, that cool? :D" grin, and Law suspects Doflamingo's connections are higher than one may think.
I'm REALLY curious to what exactly is Dofla's history here. People have thrown out stuff regarding the Celestial Dragons and/or the Gorosei, so I wonder where will Oda go?
Okay chapter.
