@pRopaaNS:
Ichigo awakening his shinigami powers wasn't going to be walk in park and Urahara isn't an babysitter. This training process had considerable risks as Ichigo was expected to awaken his zanpakuto on his own anyway.
Remove Zangetsu from that scene. Ichigo is trust into the inner world, it starts to collapse, no one tells him what the fuck is going on or what he's supposed to do. He wasn't even told that he had his own personal shinigami powers prior to to the whole thing. Now, does urahara rely on
A) Ichigo being omniscient, and figuring out exactly what to do in order to survive in this completely foreign situation based off nothing at all
OR
B) Ichigos inner shinigami powers, who has been trying to call out to Ichigo but gone unheard, will help him out?
You CANNOT convince me that reading that scene, without chapter 540 knowledge, you thought anything was wrong or fishy. The latter explanation makes perfect, simple sense.
But hell lets say Zangetsu is a quincy and was not supposed to be there.
NO ONE IN THE BLEACHVERSE THOUGHT IT STRANGE HE WAS THERE. Urahara, Yourichi, everyone accepts Zangetsu as Zangetsu right away. No one goes "Wait, you met a guy who helped you find your powers? Thats impossible!"
But no, it doesn't fit with the whole Asauchi Zanpak creation thing that was just explained now years upon years after the perfectly sensible eventsoes And lo and behold, the Asauchi explanation doesn't make sense.
Hitsugaya had visions of his Dragon spirit YEARS before even becoming a shinigami. Or having a sword. So there.
About this "Zangetsu" thing, you have to consider 2 things:
- "Zangetsu" might not even be his zanpakutos name. When Hollow took over Ichigo in fight versus Byakuya, he said that he don't have a name. It makes sense, because, according to chapter 523, every shinigamy start with bare asauchi and develop their zanpakutos by projecting the essence of their souls onto their asauchis. Which means that zanpakutos starts as nameless asauchis. It's most likely that "Fake Zangetsu" made up that name, because at that time his real zanpakuto was just awakened, bare and still nameless.
A: Hollow Ichigo saying "I have no name" might refer to, you know, him being nameless hollow Ichigo, and not the sword. Just a thought.
And B, like I said before, the whole Asauchi thing holds no water. In the aforementioned Hitsugaya scenario, the Ice Dragon is even trying to call out his name to Hitsu, who can't hear it…much like Ichigo couldn't hear Zangetsus the first time they met.
Also, reread chapter 218. The one where hollow Ichigo plainly explains that He and Zangetsu originated as the combined source of Ichigos power (shinigami uniform + hollow mask when jumping out of Uraharas pit maybe? Just maybe?) And that they're constantly struggling for control.
But I guess all that time Hollow Ichigo was claiming Zangetsus power for himself and clearly using said zangetsus abilities to try and beat Ichigo, he was "Being duped or something!"
And all the backtracking in the world can't explain how an inner quincy can forge shinigami robes and a shinigami sword with totally regular shinigami sword behavior and abilities apart from "because he can!"

@pRopaaNS:
Anyway Kenpachi have his zanpakuto in its released state and he never knew name of this thing.
Stated where. Seriously, where. He never even talked to his sword, how was he supposed to release it.
