@Aohige_AP:
I thought you only read to 19.
Stuff I mentioned are first seen in 21 and then 25?
Also, I'm not sure why you can't accept "some Terraformer adapted a vaccine for the poison, and this was written into his DNA"
The egg they recovered was a nexus of Terraformer DNAs (as they describe it), and the hairless Terraformers that were born from it are the next gen of advanced elite terras (they come out later in german team episode as well)
Alien tech man. They are maggik.
I think it has to do with how scanlators are numbering it because I looked on the wiki and back at the scanlation sites. THey've done the first 3 volumes, but the first 6 chapters (the ones in volume 1) are labeled as mission 1, mission 2 and so on, and then the actual chapter count started on volume 2 for some reason (probably because the first volume was more a prologue than anything). So when I said chapter 19, it was actually the 25th chapter. Also, I can accept it for the most part, and I really do enjoy the series. Its just that a small part of me that gets a bit annoyed (although annoyed isn't even really the right word here). Honestly, it's the type of thing that happens in pretty much any sci-fi series, and as I said it makes enough sense to work if you don't think too hard about the problem it entails with real world science. This series is probably better than most in that regard, it just happens that I'm a lot more knowledgeable about evolution and genetics than a lot of other such concepts and its playing on an extremely common misconception. Its an extremely small personal issue. Also to be clear, while a part of me feels that way, I do realize that its a small drawback that really helps the series be interesting in many other ways, and even as a drawback it's proven to be a thought provoking one, so that's not a problem.

@Rogues':
I dunno about this manga man, seems interesting, but literally the first thing that entered into my mind when I saw these guys was "Animorphs go to Mars and fight exaggerated racist caricatures of Tribal Africans"

Noticed that type of thing, doubt its intentional. SOme of the similarities are pretty much unavoidable in a manga format (such as color. In a colored format the cockroachs would be more visibly the color black rather than brown), and the kind of primitive facial features which I think were just supposed to be somewhat human, but alien enough to be unnerving. Plus the cockroaches have pretty much shown to be very intelligent as well as physically strong. And use a lot of weapons other than clubs (like guns) when available
