A bit late in the discussion, but about the whole dead-loved-ones thingy: it's a very logical reason for anyone to go bat-shit insane. But the main issue is why a lot of us sees it as a trivial issue. And it's because it was made trivial by Kishi himself.
If u want to make death-of-his/her-loved ones becomes a driving force for a major character, then u better develop their relationship so the readers will see, know, and feel it as well. Why the hell should I care about Madara's brother death, I've only seen him once, he doesn't have any character, I've never seen the brothers together and see their relationship, even the death is offscreen. Why should I care if he's dead, and thus it kinda cheapens Madara's motivation in my eyes, and also in the eyes of many other readers here.
The ultimate eye techniques are definitely one of the worst things about Naruto, I mean the first two I could deal with
1. Tsukuyomi - The ultimate genjutsu that can actually completely distort time….. if you look into my eyes
2. Amaterasu - Black Hell fire that destroys everything it touches and can't be extinguished..... but you have to be in my vision
3. Susanoo - I grow a gigantic tengu armor that can't be broken!!!!! (has nothing to do with eyes!!!!)
plus it has a shield that can deflect anything
and a sword that once it pierces you once your sucked into an illusionary dream world
and it can summon giant meteorsoh wait there's more
4. Izangi - can undo reality!!!
5. Izanami -…... lets not even get into this one
5 ultimate eye techniques that have little to nothing to do with eyes!!!!
Susano'o doesn't summon meteors, that's the Rinnegan's doing. Not that it's not stupid though. And you've forgotten to add Shisui's genjutsu technique Kotoamatsukami but genjutsu don't matter anymore since every random Uchiha's got Hashirama's cells and thus can use Izanagi.
So few months ago i heard that bleach anime is returning on 22 march thats tommorow …...havent seen anything new about it so it was false ?
And The Heart is the only one we haven't used yet, as that ranking is reserved for when Sasuke makes his inevitable "redemption" and everyone forgives him.
Just reading back a couple pages but I believe we used The Heart White for Obito reveal. It truly did deserve it.
That´s another plot hole. He was not using the Mangekyou all this while until Kishi thought in part 2 "let´s start the Sharingan fest"
I'm not sure but wouldn't the obvious explanation be that Kakashi wasn't aware it was unlocked since it happened seconds before he passed out? And that he discovered it during the 2 year timeskip when by his own words he underwent intense training? Remember Kakashi being fucking awesome and climbing a mountain with one hand tied behind his back?

C´mon, that would be somewhat a lucky coincidence, don´t you think? None of the other Mangekyo users needed no help or time to train while Kakashi, an alleged genius, does not notice it for such a long time but conveniently notices it after Naruto has left? Don´t forget that Kakashi was 13 when he got the Mangekyo, so he had 14 years to notice it, especially considering that he made himself a name over that time.
So the conclusion to the war is to kill each others brothers for some kind of justice and understanding?

You forgot about Shisui's ability, and of course, Kamui, which allowed Obito and Kakashi to warp things (including themselves) into an alternative dimension that was somehow created and has a bunch of blocky platforms.
So is this flashback worth it, even for 'so wrong it's funny' reasons, or is it just a waste of time? I'm not exactly in the mood to read something that provokes anger and frustration at the characters' actions, but still want to stay in tune. I stopped right at the beginning when they were skipping rocks.

True but remember that he probably wouldn't even be considering trying to achieve it. Everything he should know about it would mean he would never be able to unlock it. And I doubt you can just accidentally turn it on so when would he have noticed it? The difference between that 2 year timeskip training and his 14 years beforehand is right before that 2 year timeskip, he was training a sharingan user. That's the kind of thing that would make you look into improving your own.
it's hard to say until it's over. The last chapter seemed to rush things however it's possible the main point of it may come when the leaf is formed.
Also does anyone think the Uzamaki clan leader (the 1st nine tails jinchuriki) will appear in this. They were alive around the same time. Also what is an eddy?

What do you mean he was training a Sharingan user? Do you mean the time before the exam arc? That was not such a long time and the 2 years after Naruto left, there was no Sharingan user in Konoha other than Kakashi. Furthermore, like i said, other Sharingan users also did not know about it but still had no problems unlocking it at all.

Uzumaki Mito? Given that she was Hashirama's wife, I wouldn't be surprised to see her make an appearance. But knowing Kishi, that particular flashback may be reserved for when Madara and Hashirama meet again on the battlefield.

It better not start off with another love triangle thing.
It better not start off with another love triangle thing.
Does it really matter at this point?

Haha I haven't even thought about that yet. Now Kishi might really… oh fuck.

Yes I'm talking about when he trained sasuke. No it wasn't a long time but he specifically referenced the connection between him and sasuke and the sharingan. I said it was enough to make him think about improving his own, that's all and it's true. That's logical. Also remember he's a GENIUS so I can believe he was able to discover the ability he had already unlocked ONCE HE STARTED LOOKING FOR IT.

Wasn't the Chidori the only thing Kakashi trained Sasuke for? I don't remember them doing much Sharingan shenanigans. If you're gonna credit someone for inspiring Kakashi you should probably think of Itachi. Bleh, all this talk about eyes and over-used moves is just reminding me of back when I liked this series, when the Ninja fights weren't just a bunch of dragonball Z pokemon battles, and the ninja's themselves had interesting moves with nothing to do with breaking reality or some variation of the same move we've seen 5000 times.
It better not start off with another love triangle thing.
You know it's gonna happen. Partly because the triangle must repeat, partly to drag Uzumaki blood back into the spotlight. It'll add the 'in an alternate timeline, they'd be brothers' angle to the Sasuke vs Naruto thing.
If I were to attempt to deliberate invoke the gag prediction powers of this place, would it in fact backfire and prevent the joke from happening?

What DSkull + they had a lot of fights after the tournament, he should have used it then

Kakashi taught him the Chidori but do you think it took sasuke a month to learn that technique? Regardless…
-1st in order to do chidori effectively you need to use your sharingan well
-2nd Kakashi says the reason he trained sasuke is because he's "The same as me" as in, he's the only other person in the village with the sharingan.
Not saying they sat around for a month powering up their sharingan, but i'm sure it got some attention.
And Idk what fights you're referring to. I said I believe he unlocked it during the timeskip and he used it in like his first fight after the timeskip.

Furthermore, Sasuke did not show any improvement in his Sharingan ability. I am referring to all fights that came after the exam arc, especially the one against Itachi.

So it has been said, it shall be done.

AAAAAAAAAAAARGHAAAAARGHAAAAAAAAH!
What other potential flashbacks can we expect to be tortured with?
- Not necessarily, besides, Sasuke had already learned the ability to copy techniques, so there was no need to train the Sharingan on that point
2.) That was referring to the ability to copy + their status as geniuses.Furthermore, Sasuke did not show any improvement in his Sharingan ability. I am referring to all fights that came after the exam arc, especially the one against Itachi.
1. What the fuck? Yes you do. Otherwise the attack is easily countered. That's why even though other people know the move, they don't try to use it. This is fact.
2. Right, it was referring to the fact they both have sharingans. Plain and simple that's all I was trying to say. How they train them isn't shown so neither you or I can debate further on this with any evidence.
What would improvement in his sharingan ability look like? How do you know he didn't improve? Because he lost fights?
AAAAAAAAAAAARGHAAAAARGHAAAAAAAAH!
What other potential flashbacks can we expect to be tortured with?
"What REALLY happened with Kakashi and Rin?" flashback
"How similar was the sage of the six paths to Naruto?" flashback
at least.

1. You need to train the Sharingan to use Chidori? You mean how Kakashi trained….2 seconds after he got the eye when he used Chidori successfully because the Sharingan automatically improves your vision and reactions to being able to do so? All he needed to use Chidori right was to have the Sharingan active, i'm pretty sure.
2.I'm kinda lost on how all this stemmed from wondering how Kakashi achieved his Mangekyou, but the training was pretty well explained. Kakashi trained Sasuke to 1. Copy Lee's movements and speed...somehow without Lee being there. 2. To use the Chidori itself, we know we saw the end of it too, since Sasuke could only use it x amount of times back then. The times when ninja actually had limited amounts of chakra. -w-
Don't forget the flashback about the sage's two sons and their yet-to-be-revealed love interest who completes the triangle.
The matter about Kakashi's MS is obviously something that Kishi retconned. Once something is unlocked, it means that particular something can be used anytime.
Did Obito know his MS was unlocked when he started using it without any knowledge and any training ?? Did he even know about the MS or that after Rin's death it would be unlocked ?? He had no problem using it in the fight. Did he not use his MS ability to kill all those ninja's after Rin's death, or am I not remembering it right ??

1. Oh crap I forgot about Kakashi gaiden. I remember that now. Point taken.
2. The point is Kakashi likely hadn't given much thought to improving his ability with sharingan in any way. But training sasuke, and seeing Itachi use the Mangeko would be enough to make him try to unlock that ability himself and then go "holy shit" when he realizes he already has it.

Not neccesarily. When was Luffy's Haki "unlocked"? we just see him randomly using it without any control untill Silvers trains him. Do you believe that after impel down he'd be able to use the conqerors haki anytime he wanted without that training?
And i don't pay attention to naruto flashbacks for characters I don't care about so i don't remember but did Obito use the Mangeko to kill those guys? I thought he speared them with trees.

He did. I read it just yesterday to make sure myself. Obito used the trees and Kamui to create a Hell-like place, filled with blood and despair.
And if Jiraya really is alive,"what was he up to all this time" flashback.
I think we should henceforth refer to this arc as the Flashback War.

Nah, i'm pretty sure it was a retcon too, or at least something Kishi made up on the spot when he had to keep the series going xD Kakashi is a famous Ninja, he must've been in tons of tough battles over the years he had Sharingan, yeah? Yet…Not one fight pushed his limits and brought out the Mangekyou? There was no reaction even when he fought Itachi, another Sharingan user? Sasuke immediately learned about his Mangekyou after getting it, during a tough fight with Bee that could've killed him, it just...happened. Kakashi's wouldn't have?
Hmm...I don't remember exactly, but I think Obito at least used to whole, 'my body is in a different dimension, your attack just go through me' thing. That reminds me, was it ever explained WHY Kakashi had to kill Rin, or is that another flashback we have to look forward to?
And if Jiraya really is alive,"what was he up to all this time" flashback.
I think we should henceforth refer to this arc as the Flashback War.
That'd be a good flashback, though.
So guys, I was wondering, can we reach a consensus on what was the absolute worst, gutter drenching moment in all of Bleach ?
Cause there were many many awful and truly bad ones but which ones stand out the most, now that Kubo has managed to heap out a whole new truckload of stupid after Aizen "Bananahammock" Sosuke finaly stopped hoging panel time ?
Thinking about it, shouldn't all things and persons that Kakashi warped away with his Kamui, appear in Obito's dimension? I'm assuming they share the same one so all those explosions and attacks Kakashi prevented from happening should've detonated in Obito's dimension and messed the place up.

Eeh don't be a spoilsport. We're having so much fun talking about Kishi's plothole-filled story now.

I'm trying to keep you folks on your A game.
Cause come next chapter of Bleach and half of you will totally miss the ball because of a lack of practice.
Also I wanted to actualy talk about something in this topic again :/
Personally, I'm going with Ichigo vs. Ulquiorra. Both combatants had little to no personality, Ulquiorra inexplicably had a second transformation or resurrection or whatever that breaks the basic concept of the Arrancar transformations, Ichigo could only win by being brought back from the dead in a Deus Ex Machina hollow form (which, unless I've missed something, still hasn't been explained), Ichigo's bizarre demand that Ulquiorra chop off his arms and legs in order to make it a fair fight, the fact that this individual fight lasted for at least three months, and of course, "The Heart".

Isn't it kinda empty and desolate in the first place?
Though it's fun to imagine Obito warping his body part to that dimension only to have it injured by whatever Kakashi happened to warp in there at that exact moment.

Granted it was probably slightly less stupid cause Orihime was there and she can fix that stuff no problem (except when people refuse to let her do it when no one else can, for no explained reason, hey Yama ya might have kinda needed that arm in your last fight and maybe you wouldn't be dead now).
Because if she wasn't around then that would just be surreal.
I do find it mind boggling how Ulquiorra managed to be the 4th most popular character in Bleach, and how these stupid kids could fall for such obvious pandering.

I remember it having many white blocks in all forms and sizes. Could only be Obito trying to decorate his 'home', though…

Why does Kyouraku look like Jesse Custer there ?
Also why do I spontaneously have the overwhelming desire to punch him in the dick for being one ?

Haki does not need to be unlocked though. Its an ability that everyone is born with, they just need to learn to control it. Some people train all their life trying to control it, and still can't use it, while some learn to naturally use it. And even if Luffy was randomly using it, point remains that he still used it a fair few times, unknowingly though it may be. Are you saying that not once in all these years, kakashi does not use it even once ?? Obito used the MS ability to phase through stuff during that fight, IIRC. Thats part of his MS right ?? Even Sasuke didn't need to train at all to use his MS. The EMS as well, gets new eyes and starts using them like a pro without any training.
And don't forget the "What really happened between Madara and Izuna" flashback.

Oh okay, dammit then i guess it just doesn't make any damn sense. And F Kishi's horrible drawing nowadays because looking at that chapter "Hell" i can't tell what's going on.
Also
can Orihime not heal his eye ? Immediately ?

Yeah,I know that feeling. When you kinda feel like joining in for the bashing fun,but can't see yourself investing time in hundreds of chapters of something that you've been told is sucky.
I'm like this with Fairy Tail.
Also I don't think the name As Nodt is bad for a made up name in Shounen.
Problem is it's not only not germanic, but, barring Finnish or other such inhumane offshoots of Mordor, it's nothing else realy. Also the guy himself was boring as fuck, design wise ("I has a collar around my face so Kubo doesn't actualy have to draw it !") and ability wise.
(For any Fins out there, I'm kidding :P)
