Childish, petty complaints aside, this was a pretty solid episode. Much like my loins predicted. Art was fine: Everyone looked like they're supposed to. Animation was fine: Action with the dragon was good for the most part and movement flowed nicely. If I had to pick a single problem with the episode, it would be the pacing, which could have been better in the first half. But even that wasn't a major problem by any means; it enhanced the tension and gave the dragon a little bit more spotlight.
I also enjoy the little filler they added of the hazmat guys getting closer to the Sunny and sneaking on board. Makes it more suspicious (unlike them just showing up out of the blue in the manga).
Speaking of the hazmat goons.. for ONCE in a very long time I'm pleased with Toei's coloring choices. That's the color I imagined them to be from the get-go. For no particular reason..
