Everyone seems to be saying that but how exactly is it any different? It's the same thing with a few RPG touches.
Since 2 you could play with multiple characters.
3 introduced the polygon environments.
You upgrade weapons and armor the same way.
It's the same story.
XXXXXX is a main character.
The enemies are essentially the same basic types.
The weapon types have all been touched on before (except maybe Roberto's, I don't recall if that was in 2 or not)
You can't jump.
You're battling the SAME villains (again).
The game is for all intensive purposes Onimusha 4. That's not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination but all the reviewers saying, "This ain't your Momma's Onimusha!", are full of shit.
