She's totally "inheriting the will" of Jinbe having died in her arms from an unusual uber, not-foreseen incident. The aforementioned "will" is Jinbe's nakama position aboard Sunny!! Most definitely thee solution to the "MOAR MUGIWARA FEMALE" bandwagon.

Sigh. Suggesting this idea apparently turned me into the "BOOBS FOR NAKAMA!" and "JINBEI IS FAT!" nerd. No I'm not. Truthfully I don't see her chance of joining likely because of Jinbei. It will only be one of them and it's obvious who is more favored. I just thought that the fact that she's the only human to have the Sun Pirate mark made her importance to the story very high.
To me, its highly likely that she will appear in the Sun Pirate arc with Big Mom. I've mentioned this in this site a couple of times now because I truly believe so. Now about her joining, I just see it as a possibility, albeit an unlikely one, since she's practically a clean slate now and Oda can turn her into anything. She may have even eaten a DF or something. The only problem for her joining is like I said Jinbei, because only one of them can join since both of them are associated to the Sun Pirates. So yes I know the odds are highly against her favor but I'm just hoping.

YES! I knew there was one but can't seem to remember even when its just the previous arc. I guess the memory is drowned in all the big boobed characters.
Am I the only one who thought Margarite would have been perfect for the crew. Another long distance fighter, unique personality, a girl and completed the blond/redhead/brunette of the girl trio.
Thought of it but in the end didn't see her as outstanding enough a character to join the strawhats. Her quirk could be giving naive comments about guys she see in the world outside her island but I guess that's it.

Then Oda gradually updated his art style, now every girl is like a J-cup or whatever. Nobody was ever flat unless intentionally flat.

Sure, if she's going to be able to turn into Hulk-Mocha. Yeah, yeah, we already have Monster Chopper, but he's a guy. We could have a girl with more strength than even Monster Chopper.

If Mocha was a bit older she would make a good member. Right now, she's just an emotional attachment which drives Chopper and the others to do good there. If Mocha was a teenager I wonder how tall she would be?

I'm wondering time frame wise.
Like was it during Arlong park arc? Was it during Skypiea?
Cause would like to look at the manga pages of Nami's bust size and see what they looked like at the time he stated how "large" they were.
Cause they are obviously smaller "looking" in the beginning, but curious on if he had in his mind the same size from start or based on (fans, editors, himself) whoever decided he should draw them bigger that then he drew them bigger and labeled them bigger than originally imagined.
basically anyone know which SBS the first sizes where stated. Thus which volume.

They are stated for the first time in volume 6, the chapter where Mihawk appears. But later (Jaya, I think) they are already changed, when Robin i added to the count.

Jimbei is pretty much all but finalized to be the fishman of their team, something I always felt they were missing. he just has to settle the whole thing with Big Mom first.
As for new nakamas, I feel the team would be nicely rounded out with the addition of a mythical zoan user, and a logia user. Considering the New World the Strawhats have entered and what we're going to expect, they're going to need the best help they can get.
For a mythical zoan user, I personally would like to see them recruit a samurai from Kinemon and Momonosuke's island who can turn into a crow tengu. At least something from Japanese mythology that could separate them from Zoro in battle style.
And for logia… that's a bit tricky. I had a few ideas like crude oil or glue, but I couldn't see them used with a major character.
