Forum Move complete: Problem report
-
-
Can anyone help this guy?
Using the link http://apforums.net/ gives me the following message:
"The move is done, the domain name needs to be transferred. If you are still seeing this message, then you are still on the old forums. This message will disappear if you are viewing the new forums."
I deleted cache, cookies and stuff, refreshed it hundred times, used different browsers… but it didn't work. All the time this ugly message... This isn't funny.
Using the link http://207.229.146.12/ (which worked good for me some days) gives me now only a white screen with a "Can I see this?" message… OO

more of a question:
will the original AP forums skin be back up? The whiter one? -
@Sonique:
more of a question:
will the original AP forums skin be back up? The whiter one?No, the boards will from now on always reflect the current theme of the manga. Preparations are already made to turn the forums pink as soon as Doflamingo´s arc starts to take place. I´m dead serious.
-
don't listen to Ivotas he has no idea what he's talking about. This is what is actually going to happen.

shifty eyes
Cyber Flam, does your friend still have that problem?
By now, apforums.net should work for everyone seeing how DNS only takes at most 48 hours to propagate.

O I wanna know where the SOGEKING THEME IS PLZ
-
there can be one if you want to make it yourself =p
I think the time mismatch may be fixed, is it working fine for everyone else?
-
.. sucks I really liked that skin =/
maybe Ill make a purple Robin one -
Thanks for fixing the time zones.
And damn that skin looks like crap, I feel for you mrpolo.
@Battle:
The wait inbetween searching 'new posts'.
That made me laugh for some reason. XD
And I thought the min wait between searches was bad. -
mrpolo try clearing your cache then refreshing the page.
-
I'd definitely make a Sogeking theme. :o Wiz and I worked together on the current CP9 one, so that wouldn't be too hard to wangle if enough people
begwant it. -
like I said, if you guys really want one, you're free to make one yourself and I'll add it, but I personally have not the time to work on it myself.
-
-
^ Hahaha. That totally killed me. XD

This is what you get for being lazy. It´s time to stop ignoring those PM´s you´re getting.
-
OMG. I am ROFLing harder than I have ever ROFLed before. XDDD
/me will check out some vB skin variations to see what would be awesome !
-
LOL I have the same problem as Battle Franky though I only have one mysterious unread PM which I cannot locate whatever I do.
Amd I am currently viewing the page without CSS… Manually accessing the CSS page gave me a 404 error.
-
This post is deleted!
-
The background is completely white on my laptop. There's no CP9 picture at that top either. I've tried changing the background but nothing happens. Is anyone else having this problem?
-
Go back one page in this thread.
-
Okay. What's a cache and how do I clear it?
-
Hm, I don't know what cache is (probably like cookies, I dunno).
I'm using Firefox, so I would go to Tools, Options, then click the Privacy tab. There's an option for clearing cache.
Maybe an expert should explain this…
-
A cache is a storage device or a folder that allows you to store cookies or internet files. A cookie is a piece of information that an Internet website sends to your browser when you access information at that site. Your browser saves the information on your hard-disk. Each time you use your computer to access that same website, the information that was previously received is sent back to the website by your browser. Unfortunately cookies build up and when your cache becomes full, your browser may become significantly slower or it may crash.
So if you use Firefox then do what Solar Knight just said. Otherwise http://is.asu.edu/instruction/training/clearcache.html
-
I use AOL. I'm not seeing preferences in My AOL.
-
What version do you have?
How about this http://support.lexis-nexis.com/lexiscom/record.asp?ArticleID=wg_cache
-
Just to update. Clearing Cache doesn't work for me. I've tried firefox, IE and opera. All results in the same white page. Basically I have given up hope.
No other idea what needs to be done anymore. -

See if that link works for you Mrpolo
also, have you tried logging out and viewing the forums as a guest?
-
I cleared all my cache. Still doesn't work. Also, I lost the data where I was always logged in. Since my internet account has developed problems, it won't let me log back in. I'm using the computer at work right now.
I think my background problem is related to the problem with my account. Sorry to waste your time, guys.
-
Erm ok. Checked again this morning. Same thing. Can't access the link given by wanderer-zero. Got a 404 error.
So, now apparently all is well. The skin is back. And able to see the image of the link. I'd like to think its my isp problem.
Thanks again for the suggestions guys. -
I have a feeling it is your ISP, because another one of our users also fromg singapore (StrawHatLuffy) was having the exact same problems.
-
I have noticed on quite a bit of posts that the white line seperating the post and the sig is missing and it looks to be an entire post.
-
any examples buuhan?
-
Thats the thing…its random.
One time the line isn't there, then it is, but doing so causes the line on another post to vanish.
Its random. Nothing more I can say...
EDIT: I noticed something just now, when they go past the top or bottom of the browser out of sight and are re scrolled by they disappear/appear.
EDIT II: I think it might be just me. My computer has been acting odd the past day, things are displaying wrong, like example when I scroll over a task in my taskbar the information window it gives goes behind anything I have opened aswell as the taskbar itself.
Happened after I started my computer up after I shut it down cause of a storm.
-
unless someone else notices this, there's really nothing I can do, especially since it appears randomly.
-
Its probably my computer, appearently my power went out a day or 2 ago and my computer was on. I think it might have got messed up.
-
Probably bad support of right to left writing (ie. Arabic, etc)… I don't think there's anything we can do.
-
yeah, I'm not too bothered by it. Just thought I'd point it out.
