Well nothing to say about naruto since it didn't answer the only question of last chapter. Why did he kill Rin. Can't determine if she was a traitor, if she was being controlled, no idea why they wanted her body, ect.
As for bleach, seemed really dumb. Ok so apparantly Soul Society used to be insane killing machines. That sounds exactly like what they should be. They only kill Hollows and what not correct? So would you not want them to be insane killing machines versus the laid back pathetic group they are now. Hell they send like one person "in training" to the most densely populated hollow infested place in the world to take care of it while the others sit around soul society doing nothing.
Ichigo's town should have like 100 shinigami sitting around all day every day waiting for any hollow and killing it. If they did that, the quincy's would convievably never existed in the first place. The quincy's became a force to stop hollows cause it seemed like the shinigami were not able to contain them all.
Hell think back to when we first met our quincy friend. He threw down some scent that drew in hundreds of hollows and he "ALONE" basically killed them all. Why do the shinigami not once a week send hundreds of shinigami to a place throw down some bait and have a mass hollow killing spree?
Its just stupid. You know how say one piece or other stories help build their world slowly throughout the series, bleach is pathetic in that. The further you get in the story the more unrealistic the prior arcs become. A story should be able to be reread at any time and not want you wondering "wth did they not do this" I don't think there is one series I have read or reading that has a problem as big as bleach in terms of consistency of the world and world building.
