Probably the only other one of the new jump series I could give a damn about.

It's pretty similar to Reborn but centered around Japanese folklore.

This looks interesting, I'll try to catch up with this along with torpiko.
Well, the one-shot was interesting. Had that Hakaba no Kitaro feel to it. I'll check out the on-going manga later.
It's a good series
Ive been reading it, it don't interest me that much tho, I'm keep on reading until if it make chapter 50 or 100, and if I feel the same I will drop it.
Why is this thread so dead? This to me is one of the better mangas out right now. It's at least heading in the right direction unlike Bleach and Naruto.
just wondering if anyone knows why Nurarihyon no Mago changed publisher (or is it just the publication?)
Nurarihyon no Mago was cancelled in Shonen Jack and will have four last issues in the Jack Next magazine this fall.
thanks Silverblade. looking forward to the final chaps.
I am still a bit enraged when I think about the "ending". One can only hope it gets a real ending sometime down in the future.
Well it will surely get a real ending in December.

This all colored 60 pages sure is amazing to look at. :)
Yeah, 60 pages… man, he must've been soooo bored lol.
In terms of content, it was decent. I was expecting more, but since he is bound by the limit of chapters, I guess it was unaviodable. Honestly though, I was expecting more from Rikuo's fight.
Woah full 60 pages color..
Nice…
Sixty coloured pages and it really shows that he had to cut short the whole arc to finish it within one volume (assuming every chapter is this long). I had hoped this would only serve as a transition to prepare for the final showdown and that it could be a monthly, but it's a shame to see that WSJ is literally running him into the ground. A shame, this manga was very underrated in the past few years' WSJ lineup.
Hows the anime compared to the manga?
1st season is meh
2nd season is fucking awesome
@Money:
Does the anime finish the story?
nope but it doesn't make up some BS ending either, it leaves it open ended, maybe they plan on making a 3rd season which I really really hope they will.
Does it end at kyoto arc? i just finished that arc in the manga.
No, there a some smaller arcs after Kyoto that lead up to the final arc and just when things really start to build up they slap you in the face with a rushed and open ending.
Has chapter 210 come out yet? Whats the release schedule
