Woo man, Disc 3 complete…
! So it seems disc 3 really is just the last dungeon, as expected there are some really annoying enemies here, most just aint worth the trouble so I mostly just ran away. Eventually make it Sephiroth to end it all. Cutscenes ahoy and we fight his first form, multiple targets and healing main body, I see what we have to do here, and a long and mostly annoying yet easy fight we beat him. Then we move on too his…."Safer" form? Shouln't it be "Seraph" or something..? Aw, who cares. And oh man does he hit hard, I can barely have time to him hit because I'm so busy healing, my whole team's health is in the yellow and he decides to use Supernova...FUCK, I LOST..I thought to myself...but my team is....alive...? Huh? Does Supernova only bring you down to critical health or something? And does the animation for it have to be so damn long...? It's bad enough he spams the move. After a long and frustrating battle I eventually win, thank goodness I saves all those X potions and elixer/megaelixers. I was not expecting a first try win at all, that never happens when I play final fantasy games...ever. So after I sit back and relax myself after my victory just watching the cutscenes roll by, it...shoves me into another battle...?...HUH?! And Cloud's by himself? And Sephiroth is in fanservice mode, oh god kill it, kill it with fire. Oh man I'm gonna die I knew it was too good to be true...huh? Limit already?...huh..Omnislash...? When did i get that? OHDAMNOHDAMNOHDAMNOHDAMN, Cloud beats the tar outta Sephiroth and I win, oh so it was just a cutscene battle, don't scare me like that square... Hmm...usually after you beat the final boss things turn out all dandy pretty quick, but chaos is still ever so present... We see Aerith and more chaos and then it....ends....? HUH?! Just like that? What kind of ending was that? Credits..end, oh it's not over.. 500 YEARS LATER...whoa what? We see Red all grown up with his own kids and we take a look out in the jungely distance...screen fades to black and we hear creepy childrens laughter. What in the world just happened? I guess it's saying everything turned out alright in the end? And then a space loop with nostalgic music, I assume this is the part where I'm supposed to turn the game off. Anyhoo, this was quite a game, I can see how this got so popular, I'm sure I'll end up replaying this at some point, but for now I need a break. I'm still surprised at how fast I blitzed through this game. Welp, guess I'll move onto VIII since I haven't that either.
