Could be that, or he could be snagging them for himself, though I doubt that as it would be wayy to OP… and he's already OP enough as it is considering he can steal the powers/have two at once...
Just leaves the question of what the devil fruits are and how he splits them up... Wonder if there is a chance that he can give another person two fruits, or if he is the only person who exists with that ability. err, well that is to say that if another person comes along with an atypical body. unless that atypical body is from his DF which I'm not sure if I remember reading or if I'm just second guessing my memory atm...

I doubt it. Marco made it sound like it was a trait completely unique to Blackbeard's body, something that everyone in the WB pirates was familiar with. Certainly, they wouldn't know the nuances of the Yami no Mi, because BB acquired that fruit in the process of leaving the crew. Some people go with the Cerberus theory, some people go with the D. theory. We won't really know until it becomes relevant again.

Yeah I recently got back into the fandom after about a year and a half off so I'm not up-to-date with most of the fan theories… but if it is his body, and not the devil fruit's effect on his body, there could also be at least one other person who has done/can do this... if not in the current timeline then at some point in the past.
Really makes me anxious for the next time it'll be touched on ~

We know that he has been rear admiral, and he knows a lot about the pacifistas.
My questions are, what could he have done to be fired ?
The basical thought is that he unwittingly ate people, or lost his DF control.
And, does he got ths DF by chance ? It's a rare one, I highly doubt it.My thought are (a little fan fiction too) Drake's father was a marine. Drake knew personally Vegapunk (and at thsi rate Ceasar).
Vegapunk gave Drake the DF to experiment. Drake accidentally discovered what the Marine can do (cf Marineford) and has been disgusted of their justice.
So he left to make his own justice.
He attacked Kaido, because he knows that to dictate the justice, you must be the strongest. He failed to attack him but managed to escape, and is kicking some pirate's asses in the NW to become the Hero. -

I don't think he's getting them for himself, that seems a bit much considering he already has two of the strongest devil fruits in the world. I think at least a few will go to his crew, but I can also see a few of them rejecting them; like Shillew.
I would love to see him take the fortress fruit from Bedge and give it to Sanjuan Wolf and have them travel around inside of him.

Given the Oda drawing of all the Supernovas, I'm interested on the Straw Hats running into her at some point since she seems to have escaped again and being on the loose. Kaidoh seems to have a theme of technology, which we have all assumed from his favorite island being all metally and his minion being kind of like a RoboCop. Drake also seemed to have knowledge of what weapons Vegapunk was working on.
So the way I see it, Drake needs/wants to find out certain knowledge from Kaidoh regarding technological advances and things of that sort. The question is, why is Drake's interest this high? I have no clue, but with the whole importance that advanced weaponry is being given (wapometal, pacifistas, vegapunk) and the fact that that old guy who made the spaceys that went to the moon (who were designed and looked similar to the ones who already were stationed at the moon) lived in some "mechanical island", I get the impression all of this will be rather huge.Actually, not on topic, but it seems like, from random ass-pull theorizing of mine:
- Big Mom - questions of biological and chemical warfare, stuff like acid and poison and gas coming up (not sure what her power is but her saliva seems … acidic, or just weird)
- Kaidoh - technology, in terms of robotics and weaponry.
- Blackbeard - Devil fruits.
and of course Shanks is just overall awesome and an ally.

Maybe Drake knows something about the Revolutionaries that we don't know yet? They seem like a take no prisoners organization. You're either with us or against us. Like with the Grey Terminal, they rescued the people of the Terminal but it also furthered their own gains, they gained recruits. Who knows though.

Actually Urouge left me with a very tough impression him. Maybe for strategical matters he might had chose to going under a Yonkou's wing but I think he is not to be underestimated.

Hilarity aside, I really would like to see most of these supernovas working independently of yonkous somehow. Except Drake, I really see him working with Kaidoh.
I hope none of them are with Blackbeard, that would feel really strange. But if anyone, I'd say Urouge as then you'd have a new Blackbeard member to counter Jinbe joining the Straw Hats.

Well, it's difficult to gauge how big their crews actually are. We have five named members on Law's, and four named members on Kidd's, but there seem to be several unnamed pirates on both crews. Still, that doesn't seem like a lot in comparison to Luffy's, but it's possible that the crews have grown over the timeskip.
LOL, my post answered nothing. Instead, I'll posit that Monet might join Law's crew, like everyone wants her to.

From what I get they seem to have a couple crewmembers that are highly relevant to us. Like Killer and the fire-breathing dude for Kid, and Bepo, the Shachi and Penguin duo and Jean Bart for Law.
I do see Luffy clashing with Kid at some point, but I'm not entirely sure what to expect of him, as if I don't know if he will be an arc villain, a long-term villain, or simply a rival.Probably the best mirrors to the straw hats are the Red Haired Pirates and the Blackbeard Pirates.

I think that we can all agree that Kid and Law are the 2 Supernovas most shown to be direct rivals of the Strawhats, beeing also the 2 only supernovas whose main objective has been confirmed (Finding One Piece and becoming KOP). If you analyze their crews, you will see that they seem to be designed to be fought in one arc. Example of possible fighting pairings:
-Luffy vs Kid vs Law vs Luffy.
Epic captain combat.
-Zoro vs Killer.
-Sanji vs Bepo.As always, Zoro and Sanji fighting the seconds in charge of the captains. Coincidentally, Killer is a swordman, and Bepo is a martial artist, the kind of rivals Zoro and Sanji always fight in the main arcs.
Other possible combats:
-Jimbe vs Jean Bart.
-Chopper vs Penguin.
-Usopp vs Shachi . (Weakest male SH vs weakest Heart Pirate, since he almost passed out because of Rayleigh burst).

xDD well. what I tried to meant is that Shachi is weaker than Penguin, Bepo and Law, since he was the only one who had problems with Rayleigh's Haki. Of course, he is not the weakest of all the Heart Pirates, just the weakest of the MAIN Heart Pirates. Standing to Rayleigh's blast, even barely, is quite impresive, so I expect him to be quite strong. just a little less than the other 3 (And Jean Beart). Out of curiosity, how would you order the heart pirates in strength, and why?
As for Usopp being the weakest Strawhat Pirate, in termes of global strength and power, Oda himself confirmed it. That however doesnt change the fact that Usopp is freaking awesome, buy we will never see him lifting a building with one hand.
Of course, I could totally be wrong with the Usopp vs SHachi pairing (Excluding Luffy, Zoro and Sanji's match, the rest of the fights could go either way).

Not a member, Chopper could fight him, you can't just shove Jinbe into things.

These two things do not compare. Blackbeard vs Luffy has been set up sense Jaya and there very few factors that will interrupt them from fighting.
Jinbe is indebted to Big Mom, this is fixable, Jinbe has a crew, not so fixable. Jinbe might not live after that bomb goes off in Big Mom's face, Jinbe has no room what so ever to get better at his craft, Jinbe has very little room to grow as a character. As far as we know there's no one in the world that can best Jinbe in his craft.
And if he joins and receives the title of helmsman or first mate, I would stop reading this series because neither of those jobs would make sense.
He sailed a ship one time on the way to Maniford, that ended up on a iceberg, while the members of the Strawhat crew have sailed their ships up giant geyser, up a mountain, pass a moving train,etc. And Zoro has given more and done more for Luffy than Jinbe ever could.

Superbear, I know it is always exciting for you to discuss why Jinbe shouldn't/can't join, but this really isn't the thread for that. Ares had an epic theory about how he thinks fights will go between supernovas, the topic of this thread, and if he decides to shove Jinbe in it and you disagree, then simply say so without assuming that you are right in Jinbe not joining and almost everyone else is wrong. Of all the things he said, actually, Jinbe being in the Straw Hats is one of the most reliable and likely to occur.
I personally would love it if they had skirmishes between the crews, but only on a minor scale. And not necessarily within islands … I hope that now that we are in the New World and have so many crews vying for influence, that we start having battle royales between ships. Jinbe is indebted to Big Mom, this is fixable, Jinbe has a crew, not so fixable. Jinbe might not live after that bomb goes off in Big Mom's face, Jinbe has no room what so ever to get better at his craft, Jinbe has very little room to grow as a character. As far as we know there's no one in the world that can best Jinbe in his craft.
And if he joins and receives the title of helmsman or first mate, I would stop reading this series because neither of those jobs would make sense.
He sailed a ship one time on the way to Maniford, that ended up on a iceberg, while the members of the Strawhat crew have sailed their ships up giant geyser, up a mountain, pass a moving train,etc. And Zoro has given more and done more for Luffy than Jinbe ever could.

He mad bro. Don't bother him. Jinbe is a bit…bland, but, I see him and his crew becoming a Strawhat ally at the very least.

Just saying what has happened. And how people try to put square pegs into round holes. Him being a helmsmen doesn't work, Nami and Robin had "business" after they joined and the whole crew helped them with that, so why is Jinbe different? No one insisted on helping Jinbe despite him gaining the trust of the whole crew.

Mad at what? I agree with you though, he and his crew will become allies of the Strawhats.
However two (Luffy doesn't count as a member) people will join in future because Luffy's crew is going to mirror Blackbeard's in one way or another.

I can't see how jimbei won't atleast be allied closely to the strawhats in some way if he doesn't join. I think he will, in due time. We don't know how much of the NW he's seen, Jimbei is certainly strong but on those seas i'm sure he has limited access even with a yonkou's name on his back (Kidd didn't give a flying F). I've been wondering aswell, the grandline (paradise section) was fairly progressive in strength levels (or atleast seemed so), i'm anxious to see if the NW is different, as a matter of fact raftel may not even be at the end of the NW.
i digress sometimes.
