@theinvisibleworm:
Buccaneer, you're hard to argue with because it feels like you just close your ears to the opinions of others and just dismiss their evidence without fair consideration.
For example, earlier, I pointed out specifically that I wasn't saying Sanji's fight made him equal to Luffy, but immediately after I posted that, you STILL responded as though I had done so.
There is no evidence to support your own idea Sanji is weak, sorry, you can claim we don't have any evidence for his strength and then act like his acts in the sea train weren't a demonstration of his ability, but they were.
Everything from the sea train incident supports the idea that Sanji is close in strength to the other two fighters, and that he could compete with cp9. The only reason he even lost was because of ignorance, he didn't know Blueno had the door fruit, and if Blueno didn't have the door fruit, Strawhats would have gotten Robin (though she would have been uncooperative).
When Luffy and Zoro lost, they were just flatly outclassed by cp9, and in fact the only hits Luffy really got off were sucker punches when Lucci was trying to kill Paulie.
Saying that Sanji can't hurt cp9 because he didn't break tekkai in that fight would be like saying that Luffy wouldn't be able to hurt arlong because his first punches wouldn't do anything. Yet we all knew he was going to hurt arlong. Our opinions that he would hurt arlong were not unjustified, as it was implied that he would.
The same applies with Sanji, it's implied.
If you can quote where I said "Sanji is weak," then you win whatever it is you want. My whole point this entire time, was that Sanji is not at the level of Luffy or Zoro, and would have a hell of a time keeping up with CP9. Didn't I say he could probably beat Blueno anyway? So you're the one not listening. I never called Sanji weak or said he couldn't beat/hurt CP9.
Sanji wasn't being ignorance when he pulled off the Concasse, it was a very good move and near the top of his arsenal.
"If Blueno didn't have the door fruit"….well, he did, and Sanji couldn't do anything about it. Hell, I don't even call it a loss. I just don't act like he did something there just because I'm a fan. I don't need to pretend he's bigger than he is or as big as Zoro when it comes to fighting just because I like him. Not saying you're pretending, but I don't feel that way so I won't say I do.
CP9 flatly outclassing Luffy and Zoro? Considering all four were active and pulled out nearly all the stops, yeah. What did Sanji have to deal with? An unresisting Blueno and a blindsiding Kaku. No Calipha, no monster Lucci. So no, it wasn't quite the same. One can't be called a badass for nailing a sandbag and then taking a hit or two.
