MCA, or Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys has passed away of some form of cancer. He was 47 years old.

Huge fucking tragedy. He was always my fave of the group.

Aww, that's too bad. And really odd for me cause the second I clicked into this thread a Beasties Boys song just popped on.
-
Really sad news to hear, had heard he wasn't in the best of conditions for awhile but still gutting to hear.
Not another voice like his, so distinct.
Got the Beasties on shuffle now and will likely carry on till I go to sleep.

The Beasties are as underrated as they are popular, which is a rare thing to be.
Everyone enjoys them, but they were genuinely super strong as an act, not just fun.
Hello Nasty is a minor masterpiece and I seem to be the only one who recognizes this. -
Fuck, this is such a massive loss. I've always loved the Beasties since even before I properly delved into hip hop. Intergalactic was pretty much my first exposure to good rap.
I'll be playing Paul's Boutique tonight.
RIP

Looking at all of the albums, I'd have to agree with you as Hello Nasty as a minor masterpiece.
Just holds up so well throughout which I can't be too sure of with the rest of their catalogue which despite being stellar theres the odd song which I'm not the biggest fan of. After Hello Nasty it does get difficult to choose my next favourite album.
At least musically it was ended on a high as 'Hot Sauce Commitee Pt.2' was a great album.
-
Oh yeah, Hello Nasty is easily my favorite thing they put out in the 90s, though Paul's is still my jam.
-
Fuck, 47 is way too young to die.

We will continue the fight to party.

i still listen to their music today and will continue doing so.
definitely a heavy loss, R.I.P. -
Sad day for Hip-Hop.
