Good chapter, and as much as I'd like to think Magellan is an admiral now, I just don't see it. I feel like even though Akainu is now Fleet Admiral, he'll see the events of Impel Down as solely Magellan's fault seeing as he was in charge there. And, with a high-profile government job like that why wouldn't he? I think it's more than likely that Magellan may end up being this "M" character we saw in 559 (the gas-form that was seen in the lab).

I think what he really confirmed was that a strong Haki can defend against Law's power, I don't think Smoker has to worry to much about being modified and operated on since he's smoke.

Seeing that law can switch people personalities makes me belive that he might be able to rease memories as well. That's his only option since Smoker and Tashigi WILL get away.

I pretty much died at Kung-Fu Chopper being in Sanji's body. Of COURSE Sanji would get the weirdest one lol.
Yet another awesome chapter since 649. And like Jabra said, Hawkins could have made an incorrect prediction. I bet that makes it all the more likely that Shirley could have as well, for those who believed her prediction was referring to something in the future of the series instead of the fire behind Luffy resembling the destruction of Noah (just an off-hand comment, I don't mean to steer the topic in that direction, just saying I think it gives Shirley's prediction less credibility).

Bleh feels a little cliche with the swapping idea. Not something I can say to be a fan of especially if it comes to fights where they have to learn to use another fighting style that is a little different thanks to their personalities. I will concede I am mildly interested in the story and what this leads to in terms of what exactly merits the limit of Laws power and just how far the swap fest actually goes before the end of this skirmish.

If you all recall the Sanji vs Mr.2 fight it's already shown that the fighting styles depend directly on the body, so until they get used to their new bodies, they're all pretty much screwed. Nami can still use her techniques since they're all weapon based, but I can't see Sanji pulling off Diable Jambe in Nami's body, Chopper is the only one who knows how to transform his body into all the new points, and no one except Franky knows what his hidden weapons are.

Good Chapter. Brownbeards back! did not see that one coming but I loved the whole over 80 million gag. Robin got to ride Ussopp in the end so she must be happy about that. Let me join the masses in saying that Brook was freakin badass (I was never a huge fan pre-TS but post-TS he's one of my favourite SHs). In general I really enjoyed the whole lake half of the chapter.
I feel that when we returned to Law's room that things got a little messy (still enjoyable but a tad confusing). I'm a little hazy about where the whole body swapping might go, I've never really been a fan of body swap gags or storylines in the past but if anyone can pull it off it's Oda. It was great to find out about Law's abilities (can anyone confirm the translation of the Ope-Ope fruit yet?) and as ever the artwork was lovely but I'd like to see a bit more of smoker and I would be a little cheesed off if Law's title as a shichibukai was revoked having only just being revealed as one.
So yeah, good chapter and hopefully Oda will address my fears (but as I said earlier if anyone can it's Oda)

There was talk that the VA = Haki thing only applied to the VA's in charge 2 years ago and that haki is not a requirement to become one. So, with his line he has proven to be a haki user, and confident enough in its use to cancel Law's ability (else why would he tell the others to step back while he fully engages in combat?).
Got to say it again, what a terrifying devil fruit. It is like Hancock/Robin hax level.
What could be its weakness aside from the standard haki? And how is haki going to counter it anyway?

its not like you need 1 hour to finish reading it, at most a couple minutes more (5-10 minutes)
I suppose many people have forgotten that a lot of manga sites have been hit with DMCA complaints and risk getting into legal trouble and mangareader is definitely no different considering the amount of manga they have archived on their sites.. be glad that they have at least some way of escaping these problems for now.. from 10 + manga sites (onemanga,mangafox,etc) now to only 2 main ones for reading shonen jump manga (MR and MH) - that speaks volume
be glad that you can even read it now the moment its out.. in the future there is a chance it might not be possible anymore..

Memories? now that would be interesting; we've just happened to swap memories, now I have amnesia from what I remembered but I remember what you used to… but wait cuz I have your memories then I really don't mind as nothing seems different...well the body at least would make the person wonder. According from Wiki, its weakness is that everytime he uses a skill (shambles, scan, tac …), he has to stay still and do some hand gestures. So if Smoker could attack or stop him before his hand gestures, Smoker would have an easier chance to hold him down.

This arc is completely awesome. It seems to be very similar to Thriller Barque in structure but it's got a much better pace so far.
One thing that irked me about the last arc was that there was never any real threat by the villains. Hody and co were just complete fodder to the Strawhats. This time we first got that dragon, the crazy Samurai dude, Smoker and holy shit, Law's power seems ridiculous.
Also, did anyone notice how badass Brook has been made by Oda after the timeskip? Before he was this kind of awkward character whom we liked because he was in the crew but he never actually contributed anything significant to the crew's battles. Starting with the awesome speech at the Sabaody stage he has had one memorable moment after another.

I also think it's hax as all hell, but I think the "personality swap" was a consequence of the "heart swap". Why? Who knows. But I want to think that everything is "magical surgery related". If it's then confirmed that he can also swap stuff like memories, pain, feelings. . .well. I won't like that either. (Oh, and by the way, swapping memories could equal swapping brains though. . .).
