One theory infound really interesting was in the early pages pf this thread where someone giessed that Law hadnt turned in 100 hearts as in the organ but more like 100 hearts as in his crew the "Heart Pirates"
So… he turned in his own men? I doubt he even has (had?) 100 crewmates. Why the hell would he do that?

Dumb speculation.
Sacrificing his own men to show his loyality to the WG..so why again did he become pirate in the first place?

So,according to this theory,Law backstabbed Bepo?F'ING BEPO?!
WHY THAT VILE SON OF A…
Oh wait,it's just a theory,thanks God.
I think the Master is a Rival/Assistant/test subject of Vegapunk, and when the latter experiment went wrong, The master was reduced to what he is now (maybe the Masked sheep guys got some side effects too) .
The Relation between Law and the master may be like Moria with Doctor Hogback.
Master for nakama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:ninja: someone had to say it:ninja:
@sag:
Master for nakama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its really possible, but only if Law is defeated by a SH.
i get the feeling he is a scientist too, and would love to see his own advanced technology put into BF-37 Aka Armored me, MasterXVegapunk combined into a Single Robot, Damnit !!!!!!!!!!! sorry i fangasmed a bit early in my fantasy…
some dumb theories here…
I really doubt that Law took Luffy's heart after War. I mean, yes, samurai and marines stayed alive without one when they has been cutted off by Law, but we saw Luffy using Gia Sekando during FI arc, and I guess he NEEDS his heart to this.
Law said it was a waste if Luffy dies after the war, but I don't think he took his heart then. I guess he started getting hearts during timeskip, that's why he stayed on the Grand Line. Even so, his crew name makes me think it twice xD
About this Master guy… Why exactly some people think that he is a Gas Logia when we've seen him in a liquid state in the previous chapter?
My guess is that he has a DF that deals with manipulation of molecules.

MY BODY WAS NOT READY FOR THIS
[/read it on Thursday ; still majorly hyped ; all the haters can go the hell home]
I-I mean… I can barely express myself. Srsly.
I just love it. I don't see why so many peeps are hating on him becoming a Shichi... he's obviously doing it just for the privileges.
Srslyman.
SRSLY.
This chapter shows how to old days fear and terror, the royal shichibuncaigdas are reduced to nothingness. Everyday shit now, its shame. And they give huge bounty's so easily? Oh well oh well. Great chapter anyways, many nice details. I just hope that Usopp's seeds to everything doesn't turn out meme.
@The:
I just knew that you would shit your pants at the first sight of Law.
I flipping did. Seriously.
Lack of internet access left me in despair but on Wednesday I was informed via text about needing to read 659 and the hint being 'Law'
Totally saw it coming but holy shipplesticksontoastedmarshmallowssmotheredinholyfucksauce
TOO MUCH AWESOME <3
I swear if there's more Law next chapter (by that time I should have permo internets ftw) then expect a huge ass post that may involve theories n shiz…

Everyone's been misunderstanding Law's ability. So let me reiterate.
When inside Law's "room", his ability allows him to remove/cut any body part from a person without disturbing the body part's usual function. For example, if he removes someone's heart from their ribcage, the heart will continue to beat and pump blood through the severed veins/arteries.
If Law did in fact take Luffy's heart during surgery, the heart would still be rubber, and it would still be able to stretch and expand even when in Gear 2nd. It would just be beating and stretching rapidly inside of a jar somewhere.
I also want to make it clear that I think this theory is silly, and that I don't really support it at all.
The only thing going for this theory is Law's character as it would be a totally his kind of thing to do. But plot-wise there have been no hints towards it so far.

Every post like this - a gem of its own.

If he got such a big bounty, its because he deserved it. Killing 100 famous pirates clearly warrants a bounty that big, and it also proves he's not some weakling - and with a reputation like that, most rookies at least, will be hesitant cross paths with him….
It was obvious from the start Law & Kidd along with Luffy are gonna be really powerful...as time goes on..
Law is a psycho. I love it.
Ok I can't hold it any longer, I have to rage a little. WTF is all this BS people are spouting about how Law can't be associating with "evil gas people that kidnap children?" Who the hell said he can't.We know absolutely nothing about the guy but people already seem to be experts about him, nothing we were shown about him was enough for us to know the character well enough to be saying that he is doing things out of character and its pissing me of when I see people making comments like that cause it all Bull Dung. We know nothing about Law, hell for all we know he might be more ruthless than all the characters we've met so far or he might be a saint, please lets just wait once we know about him before we starting talking about how his actions do or don't fit his character.
Law is the law.
badum tish
best chapter since i'm reading OP weekly, i specially loved smoker breaking through the ice, it reminded me of golden sun 2 and norse stories. Really wonderful. And the confirmation of law being shichibukai made it even better.
I think we're gonna finally learn about "The face of the new era" Don Flamingo has been going on about with his/ Law's/ and Bellamy's jolly roger. I also believe Law's motives for Shichibukai are directly involved with Flamingos position as one.

In fact pretty much the first thing about him that we learned was that he was infamous for his cruelty. I think it's safe to assume that he's not a very "nice" man.

I'm inclined to agree with this. We haven't been exposed long enough to him to claim we know any of his motivations or how he should and shouldn't behave.
the only thing funny about Law vs Buggy is that that could work as a power up for Buggy.
I mean Law cuts him into VERY VERY VERY little pieces. Trying to control those pieces, but then Buggy mantains control. And from then on Bara Bara is like Senbonsakura Kageyoshi… Now that would be badass. Imagine being cutted to pieces by... you know, pieces of other person. :|
I think this is the wrong thread for this though. Stupid theories might be better, but whatever, at least I called it :)
Also, I just hope Oda gives up the no romance (love love romance, I mean) rulle. How epic would be a Love story with Law. Law would give his heart to the girl, and take the girl's heart to himself... "Now our heart's belong to eachother. And we will be together, forever"...
Well, stupid theory time is over, bye...

Agreed. Law definitely has something to do with Doflamingo, and I can only assume that Doflamingo will become a more important character later on.~
So , would Laws power work on Brooke? Brookes soul is able to reconstruct body.
So , would Laws power work on Brooke? Brookes soul is able to reconstruct body.
I suppose Brooke would be a bad match for Law; similar to Buggy vs Mihawk. To be fair Brook's yomi-yomi no mi may become one of those fruits whose user believes it to be a big letdown at the beginning just to notice how overpowered it is as time goes by.
On a side note; has anyone thought of the possibility of the master not being the slimy substance, but actually being someone who is using the substance as a way of communication? I mean, if we are speaking of a scientist, it may not be too much of a stretch to have him develop a strange polymer which can be operated remotely and whose physical attributes are more towards the liquid side.

See my old Post. I think his Most likely Oil.@AppleSauce:
Anyone mention that Biscuit/Master could be a Oil Logia.
They are in a High Tech place, which would make sense for a Oil logia user to be at.
Oil is a Natural Element from the Earth. What is oil? Together with natural gas, it makes up petroleum,Petroleum is basically a mix of naturally occurring organic compounds from within the earth that contain primarily hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. When petroleum comes straight out of the ground as a liquid it is called crude oil if dark and viscous, and condensate if clear and volatile. When solid it is asphalt, and when semi-solid it is tar. There is also natural gas, which can be associated with oil or found alone.
We got Natural Gases on this Island and all of that. Oil Logia is likely the most possible thing. The oil is poisonous after continued exposure of different kid of gases coming from him, hence the reason for the mask other's need.
See my old Post. I think his Most likely Oil.
Your theory doesn't make sense. We know this guy is able to turn into liquid and gas. Now, I'm no Chemistry expert, but I'm pretty sure Liquid Oil and Natural Gas are very different things despite being closely related. Also, sleeping gas is not natural at all. I think he's just able to manipulate his body's molecules to become solid, liquid and gas at will.

I completely agree with you. It annoy me whenever people claims that Law is a good guy, he's a decent guy, whatever. Really? Last I checked, Law only fought with Kid and Luffy in the Sabaody Archipelago, and that he rescued Luffy from the Marineford War. Not a lot actions to know what he's like at all. Actually, Apoo said that he was infamous for Law's vicious personality, when he rescued Luffy.
@gotta<3OP:
Except Usopp has been doing that since skypiea, and no one complained. It really does not reach a Deux Ex Machina level. It's just comic relief… It's not like the boat banana was the only way they could work around the river. It was that having a river in the middles was perfect to show off the boat banana. :P
And I like that he went further into the island to get more seeds. Eventually we will get to THE SEED. The one more difficult to acquire. And that will cap Usopp's plant's power. After that he will only level up with better sharp shooting and guts :P
I wish I had your level of optimism.
Edit: Also, him making things using his brains in the past and now having seeds that do all the work is not the same thing.

Correct. When he was introduce Oda had the description of him written as, "The Surgeon of Death".
Oda also stated that Law's name supposedly came from this real life pirate: Edward Low
Edward Low being known for various disturbingly gruesome acts.
We don't know how good or bad he is at this point.

Law wouldn't need to use his powers.he'd just beat the shit outa Buggy with his fists,or with the scarab of the sword.
**Good Seeds Are Bad Law?
The discussions about Usopp and his new Pop Green fetish is really interesting. IMHO Usopp has been staged to be a sharpshooter since his start and I even feel Ysopps' character itself gives off a foreshadowy feeling off the bat. I don't believe Usopp has forgotten his roots.
Honestly Pop Greens are a really good ammo upgrade for Usopp. Using them instead of bullets can prove very advantageous…it's obvious they come in much variety most of which we have not seen. Getting a headshot with ???? Pop Green sounds sweet. We need to be exposed to Usopp much more before we should start fearing for our favorites.
Laws reveal makes me smile with bloodthirsty joy...is he good? He did save our main characters life...for what? To what benefit? Is he bad? He's labeled to be a badass, he has proven to be a force to be reckoned with pre-TS, he bears the jolly roger of Don whom we all know is an evil beast and Zoro vs Law just HAS to happen :p
Friend or Foe? Dunno...but I like it......and we all know it's goin' down AGAIN on this mutha.**
Nice chapter :)
I don't know why but now I kinda want Buggy to become strong lol :\ Infact my "want to see it happen list" has been updated now with it. Before it was only " Morias return " Kishishi :ninja:
Woops Leggy was in the chapter, and is still attached to Luffy :p
I just reread the whole PH arc so far. Some things seem strange, still. I know a lot of people think that the legs, torso and head are part of one and the same guy. Head and torso have been confirmed in this chapter, but I doubt the legs belong to him as well. Considering who has cut the samurai(s), the legs know it was the shichibukai (Law), but the head said it was an unknown person. If the head doesnt know the person, he would either know its a shichibukai. Furthermore, the way of speaking is completely different (has already been stated by others).
Whole thing seems to be very mysterious. On the hand I would say Law is somehow connected to the centaurs by transforming them, but they already have a boss. On the other hand, I would say he connected to the sheep-headed gas guys and their master, because they are in the same building, but that also seems odd. Would be logical, if they all belong together, but why then have two different abbreviations, PH and CC? Strange strange strange.
Overall, naise chapter, cool arc so far, very thrilling in a way. Aaand I would hate, if its a logia again.. But I would like to see Sanji or Zoro use CoA.

And there is no chapter with title that mentions legs. There is one for head and for torso, but not for legs. (this is really long shot, but still…)
Will the next chapter be called "Adventure on the Freezing Island"?
Will the next chapter be called "Adventure on the Freezing Island"?
Nope. It'll probably be "Uncle Lacroix" or "Marine Headquarters Admiral John Giant's son"
"Marine Headquarters Admiral John Giant's Son" sound like the perfect name for the next chapter!
Well those are better names than the obvious and dumb names like "Luffy's Playground" or "Mysterious Island of Hot and Cold".
Hmm, I'm I the only one who have noticed that the Samurai wears the same "boots" (dunno what it's called) that Ryuuma does? Well, it probably is because they're both from the Wano country. But it might be a family trait? Wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Actually, those are just a traditional japanese sandals.
Hey people, I’m new here so don’t be too hard on me. i enjoyed the chapter but i had a few questions though mainly about the gas guy and whether he was a Logia type user (not likely the case the case in my opinion) or just a product of Vega Punk’s failure experiments, and whether luffy can hit him using haki or not?
It’s just a thought i don’t know if someone already talked about it.
So I want to refute some of the silly theories that have come up here, and if there are more, please remind me by stating them again…
Firstly, of course those three parts make up the same one Samurai. Why would they be different guys? It's already obvious because each part is with a different group of the Strawhats showing that he'll get re-united as soon as they do (although Brook and the Torso are questionable at this point, but it's still true.) Silly!
Secondly, of course Law and the Master are not the same character. Why would he have a weird ability that can make him transform into and conveniently even copy Law's abilities (for a limited amount of time), it makes NO. SENSE. Especially after Oda gave us Law's official introduction box. Silly!
There's also been a lot of discussion about Usopp's new abilities and too many people complaining about how this seems uncreative… what? But this one's up to personal, subjective preference and liking so I don't really care. Let's just say I do and do not like his new powers, and would much more prefer him as resourceful and creative as in his fight against Luffy - what YOU guys (talking to the hating part) seem to forget is that this is actually the ONLY, ONLYONLYONLY occasion we have ever seen him getting this serious. Otherwise he and to an equal extent his fights are mostly comic relief. His new way of fighting won't change it. Just accept that.
Oh, and another thing to add to this which no one has stated: He DID state that his new dream was to become the Real King of Snipers, as shown HERE:
[hide]
http://www.mangareader.net/103-56760-19/one-piece/chapter-596.html[/hide]
So for all those who fear about him - don't. He is or at least definitely will be as awesome as ever.
Thank you. Juvar - out!
Edit: I also feel this arc would feel a bit weird with Jinbe in it - think about it. And the f*cking enter-key doesn't seem to work. Sorry.
Edit: fixed.
