It's weird - my experience with the anime is opposite to that of the manga so far. Sanji's antics and 'Nami vision' sold this episode for me, whereas I got annoyed with his bloody-nose gags in the manga from pretty much the start of it. Likewise, in the manga I really enjoyed the Franky-and-idiots conversation, whereas in the anime it is plain grating me with its blatant repetition. Franky's seiyu doesn't make a robotic sound nearly close to what I expected, which probably is at the base of my frustrations with it.
For the restā¦ I loved the dynamic underwater lighting shots, even if it didn't last for long. Given the fact they were going down, I can excuse it quite well (especially given the conversation of it getting darker!). It lasted long enough to properly set the scene. Later on with Nami's explanations and the fish-eating-fish scene, I was annoyed with the extreme pace and exaggurated responses from Usopp and Chopper in a matter of moments, while Nami just continues on talking. While the manga didn't put much more than a speech bubble into each response, I figured the anime would extend it with some dropping jaws and other joking around (like the Franky-mecha scene). Missed chance imo.
All around I'm happy to have all the Strawhats back! Let's hope the animators can get the hang of the characters quickly as they are quite off-model at times. (Oh, and what was up with Zoro's sound/expression as Sanji got his blood transfusions? That was so random. xD)
