50 years ago, on April 12th 1961, Russian pilot Yuri Gagarin, on board of the spaceship Vostok ("East"), went into outer space and was the first human to do so. The length of the flight wasn't long and only took 108 minutes to orbit Earth, however it's meaning for the Humanity is impossible to understimate.
I belive all of you know names of Armstrong and Aldrin, but alot may have no clue about Gagarin, which, I belive, is not fair.
