I don't really make threads…. like, at all. But a buddy of mine just introduced this little series to me.
And it's f*cking awesome!
The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.
It's a web series written, directed, and produced by John Chu. It tells a really good story that plays out like a comic book. The superheroes are individuals who are masters at a particular type or style of dance. But there is more to their styles than meets the eye. :ninja:
I'd explain more to you, but that would ruin things. You just gotta see it.
Essentially it's a series of short videos showcasing all types of dancing styles: hip-hop, krumping, contemporary, tricking, popping, b-boying, jazz, tap, and ballet. All are performed by wonderfully talented individuals, masterfully choreographed, and incredibly filmed.
