Wonderful episode. As usual it was 10x too drawn out, but this week was just so good it made up for that. I hope next week is well done, I've been looking forward to it for a while.
474: ''The Execution Order is Given - Break Down the Walls!''

I'm not a fan of the anime but I've been positively surprised by the animation for the last couple of episodes.
-
Best episode of the war by far and that was before the animation turned up to 11. Also kudos for the sound department, great music this week.
-
Easily the best episode of the arc so far. Gives me high hopes for you-know-what! The constant barrage of firepower, the feeling of despair, the facing off against impossible odds - it was all there in tenfold. Dat ending. Gimme moar, now!!!
-
This episode was incredible, if One Piece could keep up this style of animation, with a tiny bit less dragging (it was a bit too much here), it would consistently be ranked as the number 1 show.
Luffy facing the Admirals was boss, that scene is something I want to make into a poster, incredible colors and animation, simply incredible.
-
Another great week! Two great epi's in a row (though this one is even better then last week.) I only wish the anime could keep up this level of awesome. It's inconsistency (particularly recently I mean) has been jarring indeed. Regardless, we OP fans live week to week - and damn his is a fine ass weak.
-
Refili, you're just too right
The cool animation started from Jimbe's water spear
After that, awesomeness of the colours, sometimes anime scenes are like wonderful pictures -
Absolutely amazing ending. I'm speechless.
-
Awesome first part, so nicely done it doesn't bore even if it's slow paced.*

Amazign ep, best for a while but that scene where luffy was just taking the cannon balls pissed me off
totally agree. He was just standing out there like moron:getlost:
-
An amazing episode!!! Inoue really knows how to get shit done!
-
Fantastic episode. Moby Dick being sunk & WB sayin sorry to it was really sad.
I'm a big fan of Marco and all…but 1 can only wonder why the fk he was still standin around with the others...WHEN HE CAN FLY.
I dun think Oda did him any justice durin this war so far..apart from the start against Kizaru...
-
Really cool episode, like most have said. I'm not a fan of the music selection through the first third or so, though. The fact that it's the only gripe that I can even recall speaks wonders about the overall quality.
-
apart from the tiny tiny minuses mentioned was absolutely mindfucked wnt be able to do anything until 475 all the emotions spot on animation damnn outstanding shit like this should be on a weekly basis whats wrong with them
-
Jesus Christ, that final scene was the stuff of legends!!! Definitely going to go into the top ten most awesome scenes in the anime. It would have been perfect if they didn't cut out Hancock's quick cameo for no reason-_-
-
Haha Luffy with Robin nose.
-
This episode goes back to the foundation of why I love One Piece!
The supernovas scenes were excellently executed.
Akainu's melting of the ice and leaving the Whitebeard Pirates was flawless.
The Moby Dick sinking scene was great! Great emotion!
Whitebeard's punch to the wall, insane!
The Rise of Oars jr was fantastic.
Jinbei's "Ocean Current Shoulder Throw" was my favorite part in the episode. It lead into a great final Scene with Luffy appearing infront of the Admirals. Giving me literally goosebumps on how this part of the episode was done!Downfall of the episode
Dragged out Luffy's struggle. I get he had to go through a lot but it was a bit too much.I await impatiently for next week's episode. I just wish they would give us 2 episodes sometimes lol
-

Being anticlimatic ?
We may see her in the next episode tough, along with other people's reactions.
-
Well I can't wait for Luffy to mop the floor with the three stooges next episode.
Right guys?
Right?
-
The animation was very dramatic for the whitebeard scene.
And the water was beautiful when Luffy was thrown into the air. -

Oh boy…this week Luffy and Admirals certainly are not super. Especially Akainu with his new, slender neck. Of course I'm talking only about drawings(not animation), especially near the end.
All was cool and neat, exept for constant "Oars! Oars! Oars! Oars, baby!" Looks like script guys, who are de facto retarded for me, can do something nice from themselves. I can't even call their inserts filler, as filler is clearly a round oath. -
Beautifull… just beautifull. :cwy: Such great animation coupled with my subwoover turned to the max made it like I was watching a friggin movie. It all makes up for the slow pacing. Finally One Piece gets the animation it deserves. I'd say this episode's a 9/10. Eisaku Inoue, i will remember that name.

[/dies of happiness]
-
Awesome. Now I'm expecting the scene where Sengoku
! raises up his sleeve and says we may not get to sit around this time Garp. _
-
They missed out the part where u see Marco's reaction to the Moby Dick being sunk…
i no it ain't anythin important...but still....you can never have too much Marco... -
@Cyan:
Nine episodes left.
Manly tears, will be shad again.
-
Good episode
- Sengoku if you want to execute him what are you waiting for ? Procastination is bad for future career no wonder *************
I can't wait for the next one
Come on dude, I KNOW you know better than that. I'm an anime only watcher, yes we still exist.
Great episode…. except for a few slow parts here and there. The confrontation with the admirals looked amazing, cept they almost looked like Whitebeard sized.
-
Episode was stupid. How are they going to make Law say Capone's lines? Get it right or don't do it at all. Capone is supposed to say "Whitebeard selling out his allies is crap, he's a living legend". They gave Law the line for some particular reason…
That ruined it for me, and yes, I'm picky.
-
well luffy's entrance was cool, but then they laid on the dramaticness too much and took away from the awesomeness
-
Most of the praise should go to Naotoshi Shida for the final scene, and the Ship scene.
Ah. praises that guy Who is that?

Yeah..
I'm pretty sure you're the only one who's extremely pissed at that. -
The episode dragged a bit, but it was still very good.
The animation was spectacular.

Yeah..

:wassat:
Law > Capone in every way. Lame-os should get awesome dialogue when there wasn't much to begin with. -
Right, lets thwart Canon and turn it to filler. Great idea!. Perhaps Capone is supposed to say it for possible future dialogue or character portrayal? But now we have Law, who is going to get screen-time anyway… Taking lines that aren't his, might as well be Filler.
I may be the only one pissed about it, but that may be because I'm the only one here with the sense to see a problem with it. Good day.
-
Ooh, not bad at all. I really wouldn't mind the episodes dragging a bit if the animation was consistently this good.
-

Thats what the manga is for. Good day.
-
Ah. praises that guy Who is that?
He's a key animator. Some of the other scenes he's done recently are the Gigant Stamp sequence in Impel Down, Marco clashing with Kizaru, Whitebeard pummeling John Giant and tilting the island, and I think possibly the Hammer Rifle scene too.

It was ONE fucking line, you're telling us that you didn't like this episode AT ALL with the awesome ending and animation intacted because of ONE line. You've got to be kidding me, you should just stay with the manga if you're gonna be a little bitch about the anime changing small shit like that
-

Good day to you, too, Sir Tightass McWhiner the lll Esquire.
-
I'm disclosing an opinion. The argument is over (thus the several Good days) =), but instead of going ad-hom (which makes you guys look like whiners), we should just agree to disagree. The episode had some good things in it, I don't disagree with that, but I didn't like that "ONE LINE", yes. That ruined it for me. You can still like it, I encourage you to still like it. Why do I have to agree with you again? Oh, right, I don't. So let's drop this now.
-
i think the episode was well directed and well thoght out. and people the manga takes like 15 min to read you have to stretch it some where
-
-
Holy SHIT, this episode blew my mind. Bump the haters who say it was dragged out. It was perfect.
I mean, damnit, this was up there with "NOTHING AT ALL" and the movie six stylized beat down of the world noble.
Ugh, I cannot wait for the 720p Yibis release.
-
I've rewatched the final scene ten times on Youtube. Help ._.
-
we need a place the list all the epic anime parts in this war and before
jet Gatling
luffy and 3 pushing back Magellan
Mihawk's slash
marco vs kizaru
white beard vs lonz
White Beard vs John Giant
And the end scene for thisI know there's more I just can't think of any right now
EDIT: oh yeah punching the world nobel
-
if you took a shot of tequila every time they said someones name (especially "Ace") you would die of alcohol poisoning … other then that it was a good episode
