I'm trying to watch the episode on funi's website, but I'm getting "stream not found". Does anyone what I could do?
-
Now it's going to look especially stupid when
! Oars Jr. gets up again. That looked even more like a kill than the manga.
Pretty bloody episode, that's to be sure. Some pretty cool moments with Kuma and Hancock. Hancock's display was pretty grisly when you think about it. Amused that they played some of Sanji's music for her scene, since they both fight with their feet.
Pretty good episode, I'd say. Is retrospect the content is pretty silly and forced emotion in my eyes, though.
-
lovedloved the new episode.
they handled it well. but once again their were more stillshots then normal :P but at least they weren't out of place and fit naturally.
had my doubts considering the first couple episodes of the arc, but now i have minimal worries :) -
Still shots? Oh come on…that was very nicely done by Katsumi...It was really dark, everbody bleeding...I loved it!
-
Holy shit, Boa's attack is awesome.
-
http://watchop.com/ I can't use the official either
Thanks for my new desktop
-
Loved the episode, especially the Boa scene. o3o
Dewd.
-
Well, at least Oars got close enough to hear Ace go "kkkkgugugugugugukkkkkkkk". And yeah, Boa's scene was awesome. Moria's voice is hella annoying, though. This is the first episode I've seen with him in it.
-
Hancock owned the marines like it was nothing and Oars was so great…
-
Wow Hancock is amazing…the Doflamingo part was a bit meh but w/e great ep anyways
-
Whitey Bay looks pretty good in the preview.
Yes, she does. Can't wait for next week to hear voice. Anyways, great episodes tonight. Really like Hancock's fight scene and how it was animated. Ursus Shock scene was so sick that it was awesome again watching the scene a 2nd time a row. lol.
-
Like everyone said another great episode.
I'm glad they didn't censor Oars' leg getting chopped off.
No complaints from me this week, a solid 9/10.
-
Watching it now, so far a good episode. Liked how they showed blood. I agree with the majority here; Hancock's fight scene was awesome.
Anyone else think the still shots of the Shichibukai (when Kuma was preparing Ursus Shock) looked really ugly?
Pretty good action so far, nice.
-
I like Oars' mini-me crewmembers.
-
@S.C.:
I like Oars' mini-me crewmembers.
Yeah were they in the manga?
I was like 'wow, Oars groupies!' -
Wow, Ursus Shock was pretty awesome. (imo) Everything following that was dramatic yet saddening.
Doflamingo's laugh never fails to give me chills. And I thought the Oars losing his leg scene was good.
Can't wait for next week.
-
I loved how they mixed in the flashback.
Arigato, Ace- /UNNNNNNN!!!

This episode was a pretty big improvement. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
Luffy's fiancee really shined as well.
-
The Hancock scene was fucking awesome!
-
Good episode.
I now jump on the bandwagon of "Hancock's scene rocked!!"
Looking at that scene, I laugh heartily at everybody who said she couldn't fight.
-
That was a great episode. I'm loving this arc so far, I may be alone on this, but I think Toei is doing a great job so far on this arc.
-
You know, Saul was pretty powerful
And Coby is lame
-
Is it me or has Ace's dialogue mainly consisted of: "Kgkgkkkggkkkgkkk" for the past few episodes?

That and shouting out names ('OARS!'), yeah. He went 'Kgkgkgkgkkkkgkkkgkkg' at least nine times this episode alone.
-

I totally agree. I didn't think Toei could capture the same feeling this arc had in the manga, but it's as close as I could have hoped for. So far, I'm liking it better than Water 7.
Getting a little worried about the copout flashbacks, though…not the ones that actually hold real backstory, but the ones where they're flashing back to the start of the same episode. Or replaying them like they did with Skypeia. What they seem to be doing is giving depth and screen time to a lot of Whitebeard's crew that got only one or two panes in the manga, and that gets a big thumbs up out of me.
-
i am really dissapointed at two things: the heart balloon (it looked way better in the manga) and moria scenes. I was so hoping to get good screencaps of moria TwT
and i still dislike DoFla´s seiyuu, it does not convince me
Everything else was awesome, except the ridiculously slow (yet faster than TB´s one) ursus shock…
7/10

Awesome episode, it was directed and handled nicely. And it was bloody as I like.
Oars filler fight with the giants was great, I wish if it was longer instead of Coby's crap filler.
-
Awesome episode. So two great episodes so far, hopefully Toei keeps this up.
Boa's scene was especially sweet, as well as Kuma's. Somehow, Dofla's and Moria's scenes lacked the "oomph" that the manga delivered…
-
Why no fufufufu ? i always wished we'll hear him laugh like that but no !
-
@S.C.:
I like Oars' mini-me crewmembers.
I agree with that, they were awesome. I want to cosplay one.
I really liked this episode. Hancock's part was awesome, they didn't censor Oar's leg getting cut off, and I like the giant brigade.
-

The first 3 were good as well. Only 462's first half was terrible.

i kind of thought that as well while watching. i was like wow hancock's looked more awesome than manga, while theirs looked not "oomph"
but then thinking back on the manga and those scenes, not sure if they really had this "oomph" to start with or was more of a "wow, surprise" and now since we knew of it before hand and waiting for it, it lost its so called "oomph"
-
wtb Hancock .gifs asap.
-
Wow, another great episode…This arc may live up to the hype...
The Boa part was sick, Oars fight with the Giant Squad was awesome, the bloody scene with Coby was cool, to bad his crying bitching took away from it...Kuma's part was cool however Donfla's and Moria's were O.K. but due to the need for editing I guess I understand
Hopefully Toei keeps up the nice trend of fast-paced badass episodes, and by the way did anyone else think of Baywatch when they saw the Giant Squad "running" because it had me cracking up for half the episode
-
Props to Toei for making 1-chapter episodes work.
Also, does anyone know the music that plays during Hancock's scene?
-
Oars falcon punching the chick was fucking great
-
Now I think about it, this episode was surprisingly brutal.
Oars cutting down the giant captain.
The shots of all the dead soldiers on the battlefield.
Hancock smashing people to pieces.
Oars being blown up, dismembered and impaled. -
Sweet episode. Really nice all around. Toei must love Hancock though…

Who doesn't love some Hancock?

This episode was pretty awesome.
Hancock was badass, Oars beating the shit out of the giants was cool, and Kuma's Ursa Shock reminded me of the WTF Bomb:happy:I, too, am happy that kept Oars' leg getting cut off, although it needed waaay more blood.
The 4 parts that pissed me off were: Ace's "kkkkghhkkkggggkkkgg" symphony, Moria looked like shit, the draaaaaaaaaged out still shots, and the Shichibukai Staring Contest.
8/10

Another drag episode.
! I was waiting for luffy's ship to fall through. but it never came. :/
Now I bet we wont even see luffy until 466465 will be ace going " ghhhhh nnghhh ccckhhhhhhh" for 19 minutes.
-
kkkkkuuukkkukukukukkkukkukuukkuku is gonna be there for the rest of the arc. might as well get used to it.. its just implying that he is speechless to what is happening in front of him, hypothetically if u saw ur pals getting killed infront of you, lets see you make a proper sentence without ahahahaha, or as the japanese portry kukukkkukkukkukukuk
-
They wouldn't die because I am friends with Norris.

Now I bet we wont even see luffy until 466That's not until the next chapter.
Anyways I loved the episode. First half was just awesome. The giant squad filler was great but there were so many still it was annoying. I have to agree with the Hancock bandwagon….it was pretty awesome. Doflamingo's scene actually sent a chill down my spine with his evil laugh. Moria...was ok could've been better.

Hancock is soooooooo awesome I love her
