Yeah, no matter what you say, everyone can admit that they absolutely HATED Raijin Comics deep down inside and wished that the Shueisha titles would have went to VIZ. Well now, one of them has. Apparently Gutsoon! Entertainment (The Creators of Raijin Comics), lost the liscense to Takehiko Inoue's basketall super-hit "Slam Dunk". VIZ apparently rushed to pick up the liscense and now have it. This is evidenced in the editorial section of Shojo Beat, which talks about Shojo and Shonen Sport manga's, where it says "…you can pick up such translated sports manga like "The Prince of Tennis", "Whistle!", and "Eyeshield 21"...and coming soon "Slam Dunk"!" Speculation can now abound as to whether or not it will go into their increasing Graphic Novel library, SJ: Advanced Graphic Novel Line, or, quite possibly (and hopefully), Shonen Jump itself. God knows that Jump will need two more manga in soon anyway (One to take up the spot that DBZ left, and soon Yu-Gi-Oh! after the Ancient Egypt arc ends.) and hopefully Slam Dunk will be one of these. Let's keep our fingers crossed people.
Slam Dunk Re-Liscensed by…VIZ!!

I think I heard this before, I dunno.
Now I want them to re-relicense Fist. And pick up Blue Sky, 'cause I never got to see it.

Yes, I'd like to see HnK back in Viz's hands as well. We may have complained about their manga before but recently they've been getting on the ball when it comes to their titles translations. Hopefully SD will get a good job.

I definitely want to see Blue Sky continue. It was my favorite manga for the while that I was reading Raijin.
And I liked Gutsoon's color North Star…wanted them to finish that too.

Yeah, there's no hope in that though. Raijin's "hiatus" and the loss of some of their liscenses basically means that they wont be back….ever.

I remember seeing this on another forum. All I can say is "great." Raijin Comics had a bunch of great series that I'd love to read. Here's hoping North Star and Blue Sky as well (though I bet they will.)
