I think it's real.

I think it's real.
It could be real if Yamamoto wasn't injured. As we know the spoiler says that everybody's rings are broken, but actually Yamamoto isn't with the others, so…WTF!? It would be crazy if only Yamamoto's ring isn't destroyed and, instead, are the others.

Wait, the spoiler I read says the rings are destroyed and all the guardians that are present in the ceremony fall, but how Yamamoto's ring could be destroyed if he's an illusion?
-
The REAL question is this: where did MH get the raw from?

The REAL question is this: where did MH get the raw from?
Infact they have no raw. And no raw has been released until now.
-
Hey, with the new Vongola rings, does anyone know if the guardian rings are colored like gem stones or are they pure metal still?
-
Real CP thanks to spacecat

that looks pretty awesome, enma looks a little too much like primo in that picture so at first I was like: The hell is tsuna attacking primo for? than I noticed all of those other interesting things floating around enma and realised that it was enma.
-
Chinese raw, for those who are interested: http://www.imagebam.com/image/4e9ac688730659
The spoilers were true.
EDIT: No wonder why the chapter's tittle is "Overwhelm"…
-
Well….that just sucks...great another arc with over powered villians...and here I thought that would be done with, with the future arc.
-
They JUST got the true vongola rings. And now they're shattered…............ WTF?
-
The chapter is out on onemanga.com I guess the spoilers weren't lying. Sad that they got owned so easily, hopeful this will make tsuna and his family make their own rings or something like it.
-
With the exponentially increasing power scales, what are the chances things will reach DBZ levels?
-
Whats with all the DBZ bashers. DBZ's long gone finished dead. Get over with it.
-
what i dont get about reborn is they went 10 years into the future right. Trained with the box weapons in the future and came back to the past. Therefore they should be able to beat anyone in the current time frame theoretically (but what use is that in a manga/anime)
unless they haven't got the box weapons or am i missing something
-
The rings will probably be re-made but yeah having them go through all that crap in the future just to get there asses kicked in the past is kinda bs but than again look at DBZ the android arc most preferably

What you're missing is the whole reason the Shimon were able to regain their powers. The Earthquake that Verde/Irie caused when they returned everyone to the past was what unearthed Shimon Primo's grave. If that hadn't happened, Shimon would have never regained their power, never transferred to Kokuyo, and would have never been able to interrupt the Succession Ceremony. Barring that, you're right. The Vongola were the most powerful family and were untouchable. The reason the Milliefiore got so powerful is because of Byakuran's ability to see multiple realities at once; therefore, he worked in secret and slowly gained power until he was able to finally overpower the Vongola and the Arcobaleno.
Besides that, did you really think that a Shonen would move to the next arc with weaker villains?

cough babidi arc cough (before boo arrived)
-
cough babidi arc cough (before boo arrived)
Babidi was like Spandam. Dabura was the one who actually held them off until Boo showed up, anyway.
-
Dabura would of been killed if he fought either vegeta or goku, he got lucky being placed with gohan.

Unless you can direct me to another manganime where the principal characters can blow up planets with great ease, the example for ridiculous power levels still stands.
Look at Tsuna's growth. If each enemy he beats is at least 10x stronger than his current state, then consider how relatively strong he should be.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan. Goes from a Mecha series for the liberation of Humans from Beastman Oppression, to fighting an interdimensional being that flings entire galaxies around like they're frisbees.
-
well the chapter was sadly disappointing, too overpowered, i mean i knew they'd be stronger but 1 guy, with 1/7th of his actual power!!!!! that's just going over the top
-
A thought just occurred to me.
This would be a perfect time for the Arcobaleno to come forward and train everyone. Not training like in the Anime filler arcs, but real, full-blown training.
I think of it this way:
1. Byakuran Only took over the world because of his release of the Seven Negative Rays and the Death of the Arcobaleno
2. With Reborn as the Strongest, the Arcobaleno have all been said to be extremely powerful. Even Skull, as weak as he is, has to be a helluva lot better than the average fighter.
3. We've seen Reborn tutor Tsuna in general things, but not in combat. Why not? Why in the future arc did he delegate that to Lal Mirch and Adult Hibari? Is it because he was weakened in the future? Perhaps. Or maybe it's because His element isn't suited best to train Tsuna. Under normal circumstances (as was the case in the Primo Succession Arc), Reborn should tutor Ryohei. Why didn't he in the future arc? Because Present Ryohei didn't show up until Choice. If Reborn had stood around not tutoring anyone until then, it would make him look pathetic. So, naturally, he choose Yamamoto, since Colonello was no longer around. Gokudera, similarly, was trained by his sister, since Fon was deceased. Chrome had to train on her own since Mukuro was still locked up and Mammon was dead. And with Skull out of the picture, Dino picked up and tutored Hibari. As for Lambo… well, his anger was enough to get him riled up. The truth is, Lambo may already have the potential to be a good guardian... if he wasn't a snot-nosed kid.
That said, and based on the hint given with Mammon's interaction with Chrome just before the arc began, I really think this arc will focus on the Arcobaleno training the guardians. Naturally:
Tsuna: Luce or Aria (probably Aria)
Gokudera: Fon
Yamamoto: Colonello
Ryohei: Reborn
Hibari: Skull
Chrome: Mammon/Viper
Lambo: Verde -
Did anyone saw Lambo´s ring get destroyed in the fight? Maybe is time for Lambo to shine!! (even more!!:ninja:)
-
sigh and it was doing so well.
I do not like how they were just "owned" by the leader of some previously weak ass group turned strong because of some newly gained power by their pussy ass leader.
Also this new power apparently just crushes all that shit that they learned int he future? So that means another fucking train/power up arc? I mean seriously, I've heard of rinse and repeat but this is becoming ridiculous.
I'm seriously disappointed where this is headed.
I am disappoint.
-
I'm mad. Just… really mad.
What the FUCK was that?! Super power up? And then... "Lol this is only 1/7th of his power." WHAT IN THE HELL FDSFDSFS Who does this to people? .-. I thought I had a new favorite manga. Don't fail me!! ...Fuckin... People getting slapped around. Rings breaking. Dumbass illusions still up for no reason. I dunno if I should be more angry about Bleach or this...
At least there were backgrounds...
-
I'm still hoping that, once the dust clears and the Shimon family is gone, the crumpled bodies of the Vongola group vanish, and elsewhere Chrome or Mukuro appear with the others, saying, "Hohohohoh (or Kufufufufu), we were never actually at the ceremony!"
Sure, it'd be reused, but at least it'd be more entertaining than the group actually losing to the Brago family.
-
Noticed something:
The Ninth Generation Mist Guardian seems absent from the past two chapters. Coincidence? I don't think so. Combine that with the fact that Mammon/Viper doesn't seem to have any reaction to Enma's Spikes and you've got your answer.
-
! Who the hell is that? He's dressed like Lal Mirch. And is he wearing an Arcobaleno pacifier?
-
! Say it ain't true.
! Please say there won't be a new trip through times. -
! Actually, there's another pic that shows what appears to be a pacifier is actually a gem in his witch-doctor staff. Well, at least that clears up that confusion. As for time-travel, I doubt it… I'm hoping that Sin also has Primo's blood in it and they can just get it from Tsuna; anything else would just waste time, especially going in the past (which would be impossible, unless they reverse engineered the 10-year Bazooka). If that's the case, they should go 30 years in the past and show the Arcobaleno before they became Arcobaleno.
-
omg. I thought we were fucking done with time travel.
-
I don't recall KHR ever having a character named: Doc Brown.
-
Chapter's out here http://urupload.com/Hitman_Reborn/299 everything's real convenient in this chapter and the ninth's guardians are truly useless.
-
I keep getting a 403 Error on that link.
-
I still somehow find the chapter/arc to be mildly entertaining. Slightly predictable and a case can easily be made for convenience, but it isn't coming across too negatively for me.
Tsuna's stepping up in his mild-mannered way, and I find him situationally refreshing for a lead character. I can see why people might dislike him though.
But yeah, for whatever reason I still find it kinda fun to read. Maybe just in comparison to that convoluted, scattered, shitty future arc.
-
Well I finally got to read the chapter last night on haven-manga.net and I enjoyed it, I like the fact that we went from items to rings to flames on rings to box weapons and now we get blood, literaly…this better be the last upgrade, the fucks gonna come next? the only other thing I can think of is the Arcobaleno's pacifier's but that seems like it would be a long shot.

That was already done in a filler arc, just before choice. They all went back to the Present and fought trials presented by all the Arcobaleno (Aria, Yuni's mother, did the Sky Trial in place of Luce, though). It gave us the closest insight as to why they were turned into infants yet, but not quite the whole story.
This was a good chapter. The next one should even more awesome. Can't wait to see the final form of the rings.

I want to correct you. Its not the final form of the rings. Its only the upgraded from of the original rings to pawn Enma. Like typical shonens this upgraded from is probably for this arc. You will see the final form of the rings in the last arc. Until than there is no hint of KHR ending.
-
"let me upgrade ya" is all I can think of when laughing at- I mean reading this chapter.
-
Doc Brown did indeed just appear in this chapter, and brought this arc to an incredibly stupid level. I mean really… The ninth is super useless apparently. He's definitely not the Whitebeard of the Reborn world.
And... how can the rings being upgraded automatically make them powerful? It's kind of sad that it has nothing to do with them personally. Just the rings.
-
So was she even thinking when she wrote this chapter? Ninth being useless aside, random upgrade guy is massive deus ex fail. Random guy out of nowhere wants to fix the most valuable shit the Vongola has and we're supposed to be ok because when introduced we're told he knows the Ninth and has served the Vongola a long time? Why was he never around at other important Vongola happenings then? Because she didn't think of him until this chapter, right?
And just when I thought we were done with shitty plot elements and power ups that don't reflect anything on the main character's part… now we get... Shimon's overpowered shit (I'm calling this Byakuran syndrome as it pertains to Reborn) and dues ex ring upgrade. This manga's done. It worked in daily life and as a simple battle manga, but then she decided to add "cool" things to it and now it's a less drawn out version of the parade of meaningless "cool" things that is Bleach. -

She just wants to appeal to what she thinks teenage boys will like. "Motorcycles, time travel, explosions and giant boobs. I have got to incorporate those." It's kind of annoying really. If she'd did something besides the shitty future arc after Varia, and not have had pointless upgrades, and then came to the Vongola inheritance without making Shimon the Aizen's of the reborn world… Things would be a lot better.

You guys will never be satisfied, honestly…
What do you want then? The Shimon to have already been beaten? Wouldn't be much of an arc, then... More training? Would've wasted more time, and you would've complained about that...
What exactly do you guys want, honestly? It's like you just want to hate to hate this series in general...
-

I don't mind Shimon winning. It's just that they're incredibly overpowered for no apparent reason. I mean, Enma won with only 1/7th of his power. That's just crazy.
I wouldn't have cared if the Vongola actually put up some kind of credible threat. Or if as someone mentioned earlier everything was an illusion to get a grasp on their power. And then they went about figuring out someway to beat them. I'd take training over "magical blood makes rings stronger."

Training and legit powerups without Future arc level dragging instead of magically fairy coming out of nowhere to powerup the rings. Shimon could have won without the ridiculous "1/7th" of his strength shit. Vongola could have used illusions to gauge strength after clearly seeing "oh shit this is a weird new power". You're just trying to justify a now shitty series as something it isn't: good. This chapter proved it. Deus ex handed out to the mains to beat an overpowered enemy? Sounds like I'm reading Fairy Tail and not Reborn.
-
Hopefully amano will learn from her mistakes and make the rest of this arc interesting. I did like the chapter despite what I said earlier.
-

You're counting your chickens before they've hatched. Suppose the blood doesn't work; or suppose it's not enough to beat them. I doubt Amano is stupid enough to just have it work without some sort of condition. Just watch the blood not work or something.
As for the 1/7th power thing, I liken it to Frieza. Frieza's first form was like 1/7th of the power of his ultimate (true) form and he trounced Goku. Then, later on, when he shows up with his dad in his cyborg form, Mirai Trunks kills them in like ten seconds with his sword…
It's the same thing, honestly. It's bad, but it's typical Shonen. I'm indifferent to it.
