Hello everyone
I have a very annoying problem with my computer screen.
Yesterday it suddenly started to turn completely pitch black from time to time. The power lamp is always green when this happens (like it should be when the monitor is running normally). So I'm sure it doesn't turn to stand-by or something.
I can get the screen back to running by turning it off and back on. The screen is immediately back, no booting or loading. But after a couple of minutes it turns pitchblack yet again. This happens in very random intervals. For example sometimes the monitor works fine for half an hour, but sometimes it turns black five times in less than a minute.
Could this be some kind of short circuit? A friend of mine told me it could be some kind of a problem with frequencies too…but I have no clue what he was talking about, let alone how to adjust this.
The monitor is from Fujitsu and three years old. Is there a way I can fix this myself, or is this a case for professionals?
Thanks for any advice!
