"Get a Life"… What exactly does it mean to have a "life"? What do you consider "having a life"?
Get a Life!
-
-
A reason to get up in the morning. Besides food / washroom visits.
-
-
Going out and having fun instead of just sitting here
posting on a popular manga forum until one in the morning.
Having a job
Spending time with friends
things I don't do on a daily basis. -
Getting out of the house, go to a lot of places, hang with buddies and family, and having the best damn time of your life.
Things that more people should do when they can. -
Having adventures and helping people have their own adventures!
-
Some would say if you obsess over something and do nothing else then you do not contribute to humanity and you are "dead", however by doing things like getting a job or having a relationship with someone special or volentering and donating you become a well oiled cog in the clock known as civilization.
That's pretty harsh though and I usally just interpret it as "go get some new hobbies you geek!".
-
I wonder if I can find one of good quality on eBay? Someone tried this?
-
Having lots and lots of kinky sex with your hot girlfriend.
-
Setting realistic goals that truly have meaning and purpose, then achieving them.
-
Living .
-
-
Getting off TvTropes.
-
Having my weekly fix of ONE PIECE.
-
Balance the hours spent online with going out, cooking, taking care of my gf… Basically not forgetting that the real world is full of challenges and that animes and mangas are only there for entertainement.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a question that needs an answer.
An answer, ladies and gentlemen, if not were all going to end up in creating one of human's most despicable discrepancies: living without life or should I rephrase it in living whilst death or more appropriate dead death.
Like one of the most respected philosophers of all time once said: "Live!", that is the only advice I could give to the youngsters and oldies of this age.
Life, ladies and gentlemen, is not to be fooled cause life is beautiful, it is most wise and most ugly at the same moment in time.
Life, ladies and gentlemen, can become crude and insult a lovely little boy, life can become gross and puke all over the place.
When all will be gone and destroyed, the only thing that will never perish is life, because life is eternal, life is never going to die, everlasting, aeonian, perpetual.
That, ladies, is the only straw of hope for all of humanity. Yes, gentlemen, LIFE.
So Live your life, like you'll have millions of them.PS: Can someone get me a life please!
-
Ugh, humanity makes me sick sometimes.
"Having a life" is all in the eye of the beholder. What I interpret it as is living up to your full potential. It doesn't mean "go to the mall all day with 20 friends" like some of these idiots may make you think. Sure, I'm not gonna say that one should be a loner or anything and that having fun and having friends is a bad thing, because it's not, but I think it's much more than that.
By "living up to your full potential" I mean doing more than just sitting on your ass your whole life. Finding a career that suits what you are capable of. Learning all you can, seeking higher intelligence, etc. And enjoying yourself, but not overobsessing with one thing.
That was the two cents of Chopperrules. He is still working to achieve 75% of the above analysis.

Don't just get any life.

gonna agree with Airflow's simple, effective, and oh-so-right analysis
I object!@Airflow101:
Living .
Some people truly live, whilst others merely survive.
E.g. Luffyteeth.
-
Being able to have a good time that pleases you. As long as you're feeling happy by the things you do then you've got a life.
-
Maintaining your bodily functions.

Oh, SMUDGE made an original joke, oh! Oh wait, no he didn't. In fact, he's still as much of a sob as he was yesterday. For shame.
So you're asking about the purpose of life? It's simple - live freely, live efficiently, have fun.
@DanialG:
Don't just get any life.
http://secondlife.com/?v=1.1They even made a documentary about this! Can you imagine the stupidity of people? And what do you think I witnessed in that documentary? People who failed completely in real life and seek another chance in that pathetic excuse for a "virtual world". Very, very sad. And oh, you have to pay for land? Why yes, by all means, this is completely worth it! Buying chunks of virtual land is probably the best way one can spend their salary (but then again, those who use it probably don't receive any salary, anyway).

Get a life!
I will, when it's affordable.
Do you finance with no interest? -

Yes, let's not spend our profit on an actual house, but a virtual one! Makes perfect sense!

I got a life, it's about me becoming a terrorist
-
In the words of a fictional drow elf,
"Joy multiplies when it is shared among friends, but grief diminishes with every division. That is life." -
it's being able to get up each morining and be happy with yourself.
-
I'll go ahead and be cliche'. Having a life means being Happy and content.
In my opinion, of course. -
Each person has his own vision of "life"… For me it's just being social, enjoying what you do and preventing your hobbies from turning into unhealthy obsessions.
