@Sven:
You say that with such certainty, but the facts don't seem to be on your side. Why on earth would Whitebeard try and quake a Logia up close? And wouldn't it actual quake when it hit?
That quake wasn't meant for anyone specific. Likely an attempt at clearing the field like the first one did, but this time Kuzan managed to stop it with Ice Ball.
Nothing seems to shake when he uses it. Also, the visual representation is different from the quakes he uses. When he uses a quake, it cracks the air around his fist.
And Newgate can't do different things as a Power User because?
Little circles representing a containment of quakes so when released are much stronger than a single one isn't farfetched.
With these attacks, his weapon is glowing. And since when can Devil Fruit users enchant their weapons with their devil fruit? We know weapons can be enchanted with Ambition.
Depending on the user? Absalom managed to keep his bazookas and any shots fired from them invisible. Something like Newgate's quakes which aren't something tangible would need a way for different uses of them to be shown. Hence the cracks for simple quakes and those circles for contained ones.
And some "glowing" has never been used to represent Ambition. Not with Rayleigh, Marigold or even in this current chapter with the attempt at stabbing through Kuzan there was no glow.
Also, when he did that wave last chapter, it didn't seem like much of a quake at all. In fact, it seemed very reminiscent of when Ambition has been used to knock people out. Weaker people get sent flying, but the strong ones just stand there.
Uh… no one was sent flying when Luffy was knocking out Kuja at Amazon Lily or the wolves at level 5 of Impel Down. Nor did that happen with Rayleigh at the auction house or Shanks on the Moby Dick. Besides, people have been sent flying and those gusts of wind show as a result of Newgate's Gura Fruit, that's why he tells his allies to stand back prior to them. Whether it's the simple punches that show the cracks in the air or the contained ones that get sent from the bisento.
Hell Newgate might even be using Ambition in conjunction with his Gura Fruit powers when sending them out through his weapon. It'd be akin to Hancock's Pistol Kiss, and it'd be a testament to his strength to show how badass he is. But the lines surrounding his hand or bisento certainly isn't meant to represent Ambition being used.
I'm not saying it's definitely ambition, but you shouldn't declare something with such gusto when it amounts to nothing more than your opinion.
So…nothing?
