Makoto Shishio! TU CABEZA ES MIO
that about covers the extent of my Spanish knowledge
Okay, as long as you post spanish, we can discuss anything.
I like Tacos, what about you?
Hola. ¿Como estas usted? ¿Mas bien o mas mal?
(One of the qualities that pay off after two years of Studying Spanish)
I took two years of this language and can't remember a thing other than "tu madre es tu padre"
I speak some Chinese… But this is hardly the place for that.
hola!
yo gusta tacos!
tu gusta los tacos?
DIJA, TU GUSTA?
Ustedes gringos deben estar bromeando!

PS: No, Sogeking. It's tu madre es Puta, wich means that your mother is a bitch of the worst kind. :P
How incomprehensible was that?
Okay, guys, when did you begin to study spanish?
I began to study english since I was a Six years old, plus playing videogames helped a lot.
Actually, it's because of videogames that I learned english. It was frustating to get stuck in the puzzle of Johny when everything I had to type was PEARL. :S
And nope, there's no OP Spanish translations avalaible in the American market at the moment. I think most of you are learning the spanish used in Mexico, so telling you to buy the Spain volumes and dvds wouldn't help at all.

Anyways, since you all did some minor mistakes, I'm going to teach you a bit more of spanish.
FIRST LESSON: Expressing your hatred towards Fictional characters.
Now, look at this: We hate Vivi.
And now, repeat one thousand times:
ODIAMOS A VIVI!
After accomplishing this, you will be ready to express your hatred towards any fictional character in any spanish forum.
NEXT LESSON WILL BE: How to tell authors of works of fiction to get rid of certain characters that you despise.

I started 7th Grade, probably age 12 or 13.

I recall all my instructors always drew the distinction– aren't the main differences that they have an extra verb conjugation, and a set of different synonyms for things?
I gave up on using Spanish because after 3 and a half years of study, they taught all this grammar, but not enough useful vocabulary-- so I could conjugate "bailar" in 24 tenses, but couldn't say something useful like "Could you exchange this for one of the new-type plastic 20-peso notes?"
Now, everyone, "Odiamos a Luffy tambien! Nunca olvidimos querido Arlong!" :D (How far off was that?)
I think the best is "Nunca olvidemos a nuestro querido Arlong". And really, let's not forget him…

Yep. Spain's spanish is the equivalent of the european english.
And yeah, most of the time they bomb you with tons of grammar while learning a language. That's why I decided to expand my vocabulary in my own by posting at forums and playing videogames with complex stories like most RPG.
And about that last one….
It's actually "Nunca olvidemos al querido Arlong", but I think giving emphasis to the thing of adoring Arlong by changing it to "Nunca olvidemos a nuestro querido Arlong" fits better.....
:silly:

@Kaimei-Karasuhebi:
Okay, guys, when did you begin to study spanish?
Since the day I was born
Puedo hablar bien en Español, pero se me hace un poco dificil escribir en Español, jajaja ^^;
(As I stated, I only began to learn Spanish a couple of months ago, since I wasn't given any foreign languages in middle school other than a bit of Japanese. Most of the people here who are fluent will probably have a hard time discerning what I'm trying to say.)
Se entiende lo suficiente, no te preocupes…
….....hola putas
Kaimei's Spanish Lessons: DOUBLE ISSUE.
SECOND LESSON: How to tell authors of works of fiction to get rid of certain characters that you despise. First, when you write something like a letter, it's correct to start like this:
"QUERIDO/ESTIMADO Insert the name of the person you're writing to , ~~~BLABLABLABLABLA…..................."
And then you're ready to express all you want to tell to the author. For example, we could start a letter for Oda like this:
In this case, I used Estimado because calling Oda querido would sound way too gay, and then I asked him what the hell went trough his mind when he created such a freak as Vivi.
Of course, it's correct to spice up the letter with other things that wouldn't make Oda feel like if you're telling him that he just pulls shit out from his head.
By telling Oda that my problem is just that Vivi is such a pathetic character that is shit when compared to anything else he has created so far, you're pretty much expressing that such mistake as the creation of Vivi is not enough to stop your admiration for his skills as a mangaka.
And finally, the end should be something like this:
Saying thanks to Oda for wasting his time to read your letter is the least you could do, plus adding something at the very end like "I hope you kill off Vivi in the future" puts a emphasis in your feelings towards the fictional character you despise.
CONGRATULATIONS! By just changing Vivi and Oda in the above sentences you're ready to write a letter to any author of any manga about how much you despise one of the many characters they have created!
THIRD LESSON: Do you speak English?!
The MOST BASIC question ever. The one that saves your asses in many countries, and the one that allows you to skip all the crap you learned trough any classes you ever had.
"Habla usted ingles?"
Yeah, that's it, but if the persons knows nothing of English, then….
"Conoce a alguien que hable ingles?"
And if whoever you asked that doesn't know anyone who speaks english, then...
You're as good as dead.
Debes haber usado Sasuke y Kishimoto, no Vivi y Oda. ¿Si tengo problemas, me puedes decir?
