I heard about this Thursday, but due to my schedule I didn't really come around to post on it and believed more people would be talking…but since nothing's come up, I'll start the discourse.
Dobb's departure, whether voluntarily or forced, is yet another blow to Time Warner, who owns the network. Dobbs is the most popular anchor in the channel, surpassing even Larry King and his gossip proto video-blog. Certainly, a lot of viewers who tuned in to CNN will now be looking elsewhere for their news.
In spite of all this, it's still a surprising turn of events, and it does make one wonder about the future of the news industry. I
