What with the simulcast available and all, there are several different ways people can watch the latest One Piece episodes. I myself prefer the Simulcast, but I know there are some people here who don't really like the Simulcast that much…
How do you watch the latest episodes of One Piece?
-
-
Missing the "direct stream/TV" option up there.
-
The Simulcast since its the way to actually support the show.
-
fansubs + projector or bust.
-
With a DON. .

With a DON. .
Good answer…
Since I didn't get my 100% FUNi quality simulcast subs like I wanted, I use fansubs... Yibis, to be precise... I usually watch in packs of 2 or 3, since I don't think to watch the anime for small spreads of time (the manga usually keeps me satisfied).
-
My personal belief is to support the commercial version 100% so while I do keep up with scanlations to keep up with the latest manga chapters (even with Viz catching up in about a year I'll still keep up with the scanlations unless Viz pulls a Rinne) I follow the Funi streams (unless they're late then I cheat) because it defeats the purpose of them attempting to keep up with the Japanese airing if I'm watching it any other way because I can't wait two hours after it airs in Japan.

Simulcast for me. Supporting One Piece properly is the cool thing to do.
-
What's simulcast?
I'm watching fansubs.
-
I watch the Simulcast and after that I download the Yibis fansubs.

Yibis translated the Kuma scene at the end of 405 wrong, so they are just as "bad" as FUNi.

I still say it was an understandable mistake… Heck, it was only in the latest chapter that we got definite proof that it was a mistake.
Anyway, I watch it raw, obviously.

Proof was needed for a mistake so obvious?
-
Whatever comes first. Also I download the HD when becomes available.
-
The Simulcast, of course.
I can't think of a single reason why I'd go back to fansubs. FUNimation has them beat 100%. And I'm so happy that they are bringing us this Simulcast. I really hate watching anything illegally. One Piece was the only show I was watching through fansubs, and now I don't watch fansubs at all! ^_^
-
Simulcast, of course. With that around, I can watch all the Japanese One Piece episodes that I want(available) without feeling a ounce of guilt. Plus I like to support One Piece and FUNI. =)
-
I watch the official simulcast since they come pretty early in the morning and fansubs seem to take more time to get released. Plus, the translation is better.
-
It actually comes at night, 9pm to be exact! And yeah simlucast for the win!
-
I used to watch whatever fansubs came out first, but now that Funi has grammatically correct subs one hour after the Japanese broadcast, I'll just stick with them.
-
I don't watch them every week since I prefer the manga but when I do I use the Simulcast.

Funimation's subs are easily the best subs available. If they only translated honorifics it would be perfect.
-
Yibis translated the Kuma scene at the end of 405 wrong, so they are just as "bad" as FUNi.
…I'm not even going to get into why that was a dumb point to make. All I'll say is this: one scene.
-
really, WHAT THE HELL IS A SIMULCAST????!!!!!

Dude, you don't know? On Funimation's One Piece site, they show the recent Japanese episodes subbed 1 hour after their release in Japan. Every Saturday is a new episode. Also, every week they add the old episodes starting with EP.1, both sub and dub. Right now they are on 26(old ep) and 420(new ep) You should really give it a watch. They're legal, free, and accurately translated.
-
wow, i didnt know this, ive always downloaded fansubs in sundays. could you post a link please?

Aw, that's too bad. Guess you have to stick to Fansubs….
-
The Funimation subs usually show up on Youtube anyway. You can tell cause they have the Toei Animation logo in the corner.
-
Funimation. Not only is it legal and a way to support the official release of One Piece, but they actually translate the world "nakama." It may be a small thing, but damn does it make a HUGE difference for me.
-
I watch them in youtube

But they don't translate "haki"…
Sorry! Sorry…!
-
yeah now it looks like they don't translate Bearsy either, but that's understandable.
-
But they don't translate "haki"…
Yeah, don't care about that. It was just Nakama that bugged me.
-
-
Live. With gays in the ad breaks. Live stream is missing in the poll options. Fansubs thereafter. There's no simulcast for me.
-

What do you mean?
-
@Kairouseki:
What do you mean?
Bearsy is called Kumacy in the subs. Nothing wrong with that though, since Kumacy is the thing's name. We don't go around saying Bartholomew Bear either.
-
We don't go around saying Bartholomew Bear either.
We do here  (localized into Norwegian, that is. Bartolomeus Bjørn. Awesome name)
-
Depends how fast the fansubs come out, but I usually watch the simulcast and then download the episodes later

Maybe we should. It makes him sound adorable.
-
simulcast is not available in México so i watched in fansub

Same for me. And A+++ for the ad breaks. Then simulcast later, when I feel like it. No fansubs for me at the moment. I do download the raw sometimes for screencaps though.
-
Since I usually let the episodes pile up to 3-4 before watching them, I use fansubs. Simulcast is not available for me anyway. :<
-
I watch it on KeyHole, but I had to vote for RAWs. I'd watch simulcast, but I don't think it's aviable outside America and Canada~

Lol, me too. Me and my GF wait for a few weeks before watching a block of 3-4 episodes. It's a habit i picked up watching it with my friends when i re-got into it. I'm trying to convince them to not watch the war at all when it gets animated and just pick a day to crack out on the whole thing.
