@firecrouch:
And you can still send a physical lettter, that's actually more effective.
I'd just like to second this. I've seen many different people, from major companies and political parties, saying that there's actually an accepted "currency" with emails and letters. When the people let their opinion be known to, say, Virgin or the Labour Party, the people on the receiving end assess the importance of the complaint on the basis that one letter equals so many hundred emails. Same with petitions; one signature on a physical petition is seen as equal to several hundred signatures on an e-petition. Hand in the physical petition in person and the "worth" of each signature goes up further.
Anyway, this doesn't directly affect me since I don't watch TV and thus don't even have a TV aerial, never mind a digital box or any other means of watching non-terrestrial channels. That said, it's still annoying because it's just going to damage the image of One Piece in the UK like it's been damaged in the US. Fortunately, the cable/digital channels aren't any where near as popular in the UK as they are in the US, most people here stick to BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4 so it's not like that many people are going to see it (though I suppose there's a whole new generation that'll think of One Piece as being the 4kids version only).
