Damn, good prank. Too bad it couldn't last a little longer. I was completely fooled and laughed for a solid ten minutes when I saw that pic. Really well done and congrats to all who thought it up. Though, I hope there will be another one tomorrow…

I don't know what country they're in… The fact is, though, that even considering the furthest possible time zones, the prank either started too early or ended too early.

It was still March 30th where I am at when the thread was released which meant there was not a single location in the world where it was April 1st. They didn't get the time right, if they had waited maybe 3-4 more hours they might have been able to pull off that defense. Still a great prank, but April 1st one it isn't.

My dad did a few to the same guy 3 years in a row:

-The first year he sent an order for a boat to shipped out on a ship… He came back to my dad with a quote but he missed one detail. The boat being shipped was bigger then the ship it was going out on.
-The second year he asked for "hand glider enginges".
-The third year my dad collected 5 orders together and gave it to the guy. It drove the guy nuts all day, the guy was trying to figure out which one was the joke. The joke was they were all legit and the guy spent all day looking for something that wasn't there.

you could at least appreciate the hard work the pranksters put in this joke by faking the pics and writing some awesome story. THEY wasted THEIR time to keep us entertained during the day before real-spoiler-day. They shortened all our waiting time. we should thank them instead of insult them. and which trouble you went through? Did somebody hurt you while you were reading all that stuff? don't take that so seriously. It seemed as a joke a bit obviously if we go by today's/tomorrow's date, didn't it?

if they pulled that joke later, the real spoiler would have ruined all their hard work, so I understand why they pick this date.

I say an April Fools joke must begin on the day. It doesn't matter when it ends, just that it manages to fool someone for a least a little while, even a minute or two. Take this prank for example: if it had only lasted for ten minutes, it would still be a success because it managed to fool people for ten minutes.

What made it seem like I am crying over this >_> I have shown time and time again they deserve the praise for how much time and effort was put in it. But when you say its an april fools joke when its not on the day in april it does matter a bit in how the prank is recieved.

Yes they can in syndicated magazine where they have no other means to prank people and the issue itself is meant for April anyways. But the internet is a different beast that has a very specific dateline to it. Its just not an april fools joke unless they can actually pull it off on the day itself. Wait a couple more hours and imo they can call it that. To me this is nothing more than a prank that deserves a lot of praise and one I wouldn't have fallen for if it actually WAS on April 1st. They should take the complement as it stands. I wouldn't have fallen for this if it was actually within a timeline where somewhere in the world it was april 1st. I said as much in this thread several times before it was revealed to be fake.

What also seemed suspicious to me all the time were "Luffiko's" hair strands.
They look totally different compared to Luffys original male hair.
The bazooka-dude, who was turned into a girl by iva first had the same hair cut, as guy and as girl.
I just had to look up the english word for "Strähne" (=german word for "strand).

Haha, this stuff from /a/ is hilarious. My favorite so far was the cap of Mr. 2 giving the thumbs up when he was on the Going Merry. This prank totally made my day.
