I keep readin the posts here for ages, I was doin so even when I wasn't posting. The thing is, I'm kinda sick of all this appreciation comments. Someone created a "Say something nice bout the person above you" thread. I really liked it, and I posted there a lot, cause, I think everyone needs to hear some good words now and then and helped in the communication between the board members. But, I thought that after this thread, the members would change their judgement upon others. Sorry guys, but I just feel very weird when in every thread there's an appreciation thingie. I mean, "Oh you're so cool", "You're tha man", "I mean that you're awesome anyway" and stuff. Come on now, people. Why is it so "painful" or hard telling to a person that "Fuck off man, I disagree with ya"? I remember one person (maybe iqalfy? I could be wrong) that posted in the appreciation thread that "there's a member here that really annoys me but I can't say his name". Why? You know what? These boards are really calm and peaceful. I love this. But sometimes, i have the feeling that it's all fake. Posting "Oh you're so cool and your avatar rocks" and from the inside saying "fuck off you and yer shitty smurf-like ava". That's how I feel. There are some mebers here or mods that are really cool without saying again and again how they love each member (f.e Setta Ginny, Zio, Daz, Yumi, Buccaneer and some other guys i forgot sorry) and some others that in every thread they just shout how they "love" everyone. Lame.
Remember? In the old threads? I had created a "Post a comment bout the member above you" thread in the general section. It was somethin like the now appreciation thread. But the mods locked it (it was Konis if I remember correct- i'm NOT trying to offend someone nor do i have a grudge and stuff. Peace. Just for the reminders, Konis-chan ) and I remember they said that "All this thread would do is cause all the members start complimenting each other pointlessly in this thread". So, I don't wanna play it "old one" or "da man of this board", but, does this thing say anythin bout the next generation of our boards?
