Why not just make an RPG thread? o.o
In order to justify a whole forum dedicated to RPGs, it would have to have at least two or three new topics a week.

Trust me, on a forum this size, an accompanying RPG forum is always active and very expansive. If people were allowed to create side topics, you know, things breaking off from the main topic and allowing users to add to their characters and have a side plot… Well that'd certainly widen things. Along with that, battle topics, grudge topics and all the likes would enter the mixture. Story/plot orientated ones, AU ones allowing people to just have fun without killing off their characters.
Different topics could symbolise different areas, this would mean that one group of people could be active in one topic, one in another, both eventually joining in a new one. This - in theory, would mean that if, for example, the main 'closed' RPG took place, others who have not joined into the topic itself can develop their characters within other topics, joining the main crew as the oppirtunity arose. Threads such as "So and so's crew - Join up'' could easily start creating alliances between characters and add more to the development of stories and sides, not every character would witness every person in the OP world in one place, would they? For that reason, one thread couldn't really keep up with the amount of story, characters, development, battles, side stories, secret plots, alliances and many more...
Simply, if there was a RPG board, things could flourish properly, and don't you worry, hun, we would have at least that many a week, these things are active, they really are. A thread would only be able to hold something like, an original character battle, you know as well as I do that even though that itself was a simple idea, it took up several threads and grew. Well, if people were given the space to create, develop and expand topics, hell, it'd work really well and it would fill up the place...
As mentioned many times, a RPG brings people closer together, it gives people a chance to have a good game and a laugh, and it's a good alternative to the debates and the like of the other forums...
Sloth :: As for having mods on the RPG, any more global mods would be, in my opinion, a bad idea, just as having to rely on the already busy mods to look after another forum that in itself would have to be mangaged very tightly so as it would work. It's possible, either some selected volunteers could keep a check of the place and just report anyhting in need of altering, sticking and changing or, single area RPG mods being assigned given only the power to edit the RPG forum itself and given no other tasks or jobs… I don't know really, just a thought...
The merman/DF thing, maybe, but if you think about it, if a merman had a devil fruit abillity, there goes his main element - the sea. If a merman got affected, he would no longer be able to swim and perhaps would lose the abillities the sea granted them in the first place, because, as they were born sea/land creatures, and the DF curse was to have the sea turn against you, well maybe this would mean that tehy would lose alla there fishy abillities, perhaps even the gills would cease to work... I don't know, whatever the case, a super Df juiced Gyojin should be avoided... -shrugs-
Judas + silver griffin girl :: Great to have more people into the idea, although Judas, I know, has already shown intrest with that previous topic…
Well, hey, that's alla my replies done~!
