Take a look at these phenominally sized tree and creatures!

Some of them, like the giant squid, are expected to be that big. But others are more than 20x the size that they should be!!! Wow.

@tash: we share the same way of thinking actually =P
Yeah,he's in my pond.
My pond's about 10 feet deep and at least 20 feet long..I think.
I used to swim in it before it was converted into a pond(old swimming pool).
The araipaima(Mr Fatty) lives with 2 Red-tail catfish(named Dust and Bin)and a couple of large koi,the KND.

It used to be a swimming pool before it was converted into a pond.
We converted it in 2000.
Before that,I used to swim in it.
Sweet.
Heheh,thnx.
I love this pond alongside my other 2 100 gallon fish tanks.
1 of them houses 3 freshwater stingrays and an Arowana and the other is a Marine setup.Total cost after 6 years? RM 10000
Mutation…Evolution...Or just edited?

Mega squid? Architeuthis the giant squid?
Apparently one got stranded - supposedly alive - in Japan in 2002. See it here!
Not as big as I they get (up to 60 feet I understand) but pretty impressive to me.
While on the subject of Very Large Things I ran into this the other day. It really bothers me that somebody would allow their pet to get so damn obese.
Supposedly the worlds fattest cat. I feel sorry for the poor thing. That can't be healthy.
