yea they were called the Z-warriors, and I believe Gohan was supposed to be stronger.
to question 2)
i think goku was in the end of this series the strongest
cuase he was the only 1 able to become a ssj3,gohan wasnt the 1 who fought the last villain(kay spending some energie but you should know what i mean) and last but not least gohan had in the end a "normal life" while goku was still training and becoming stronger….so we could assume that goku the main chara was in the end the strongest...(beside vegetto\gogeta(don
t know his name anymore))
goku was strongest at the end, obviously
At the end of the Buu saga, its arguable either way, because Gohan had Mystic Form, which was stronger than SS2, and Gohan maintained that form all the time without any effort expended, he just no longer had the traditional blonde super saiyan hair. Whereas Goku's Super 3 was limited to only a couple minutes of use. goku beat Buu, but not with his own strength, but borrowing the strength of the entire world to make a genki dama, wheras Gohan got tricked and killd by Buu, and we have no idea how well he would have done long term against Buu's later forms.
After the Buu saga, Goku clearly became stronger as he kept training and figuring out new techniques, (like Dragon fist and SS4) while Gohan settled into a peaceful lifestyle.
@robbybevard:

That's weird because Goku stayed in that form for undisclosed amount of time though the amount of time he spent in SSJ3 is debatable if Frieza's 5 minute Death Ball could be used as another example of how DragonBall Z can break time itself

but gohans forms still lasts forever…:getlost:
Well that's another story.

but his point was that mystic was longer not that SSJ3 was exactly 2 minutes
but his point was that mystic was longer not that SSJ3 was exactly 2 minutes
I know that:getlost:.
Mystic Gohan got his ass whooped by Buu
the only reason goku couldnt stay in SSJ3 cause it was using his time on earth faster
SSJ3 had another drawback it drained Goku's energy, and Gohan only lost to Buu due to him absorbing Gotenks & Piccolo.
Goku was shown clearly many times saying he can't be in SSJ3 very long due to being alive agian. Even fighting Kidd Buu he said he was having toruble getting to full power and he couldn't.
And Kidd Buu wasn't the strongest buu. He was probably the same strength as super Buu. And Gohan worked super buu. It was just the kidd buu was just a killing machine and dind't mess around at all like the other buu's is why he was considered more dangerous.
I mean heck a mugger is more dangerous to me than superman, but superman is stronger. I thought it was pretty clear when gohan finished training, and when goku went to use his earing with gohan that ssj3 goku isn't as strong as him.
ok ok
Gohan by the stat book
but i guarantee if they fought, Goku would win
…well, yeah. Gohan is the strongest guy in the series power-wise, but Chichi ruined him by killing his fighting spirit at an early age. :/
As such, Goku could own him on any given day, and Vegeta probably could too.
From my understanding "The Z Warriors" was just a fan nickname for the main good-guy fighters, which were usually called "Earth's Defenders" or something similar. Z warriors was never actually used in the series except once by Trunks I believe.

And by the narrator on some occasions.
