It's less a rumor, more of a canon attempt.

Preeeeeeeeetty sure that we're going for new episodes with this. You don't entertain ideas for a kickstarter just for once-a-week reruns.

S'matter of fact, he's going to be at the Long Beach Comic Con tomorrow. Someone go down and grill him for info.

I remember a couple of key people though that worked on Megas XLR now work on Disney's show Motorcity so I don't know how likely Megas XLR has of coming back to life.

One of those is George Krstic, so he must have some faith in the possibility.

My pants just exploded. It's small news, but be glad it was just my pants. Megas coming back would be a collateral disaster on its own. Season one of this show was abolsutely perfect! The second was was.. eh... alright. It felt a little low budgeted and less extreme than the first, is'all.

I have my doubts. Usually shows that come back from the grave have sold a lot of DVDs or have a lot of merchandising success; Megas doesn't have either to its credit and can't unless Cartoon Network puts in the work to get it out of Writeoff Limbo.

On the other hand, they did that for IGPX so it's not impossible either.
    Complicating things since 2009.
