Are we sure the tobi roppo are done and that the big mom pirates wont join the fights? Im predicting the raid ending at the end of 105 and the entirety of 106 being post-raid stuff. The crew either leave wano in the last chapter or at the beginning of 107

I don't think the arc will last over the 103/104. I did a full prediction in the Wano thread, but shortly: 102 will cover the fall of Onigashima and move the stage back on Wano. 103 will be final fight, Numbers and ending of raid. 104 post arc and leaving Wano.

I’d say 105 instead as the conclusion to Wano.

Since I’m a believer in 5 acts, I think act 4 starts in 102, adding some complications before the resolutions you are expecting.
Act 4 would cover 102-104 (around 30 chapters), and Act 5 is covered in a single volume.

I’m just expecting the Perospero/Neko fight to see if my theory is confirmed or debunked.
My Wano predictions: All Straw Hats will get fights in Wano, but not in Act 3; There will be 5 acts; The Big Mom Pirates will arrive; Yamato, Carrot and Tama will form their own crew; Shanks will visit Luffy in Act 5 to issue a challenge; We are going to Mary Geoise after Wano.

It's pretty clear that Oda doesn't care about the Big Mom Pirates given that he's trolled almost all of them. So no, I don't expect them to get fights even if they arrive at Onigashima, which will probably be at the end of the arc after Kaido and Big Mom lose imo. As for the Tobi Roppo, I can't imagine what good it would do to have any of them return. Oda can't keep stalling things especially now that Luffy vs Kaido round three is happening. I figure the arc will end in volume 103 or 104.

And I'm not buying any of this "Act 4" business. People have been predicting that every chapter since Luffy and the others reached the roof of the skull, and yet it doesn't come.

I thought they'd get up. But, once the story actually showed the Straw Hats that fought them moving on to other stuff (or being knocked out, like Robin), my mind changed. It seems that was that for them (thought maybe Who's Who story with CP-0 still gets some follow-up).

Given that, I now think the Straw Hats that got fights in Act 3 may not have new match-ups in Act 4.

I thought we might see more off the flying six, but then Oda did that thing where he showed the enemies defeated and unconscious like he seems to do when the villains have been throughly defeated

But he didnít show Ulti and Page One for some reason, so I can cling to my belief that Usopp and Nami will get a proper fight...... even though deep down we all know it wonít happen

I'm banking on the Tobi Roppo reviving by benefit of being Awakened Zoans and/or being administered some kinda drug that will boost their power and recovery; could be said this has been hinted already. So we're basically going to see, Kaido, the Calamities, and the Tobi Roppo all achieve some monstrous new form akin to Chopper's Monster Point.

What follows wouldn't be any sort of extended battles, as I also foresee this coinciding with the good guys being plagued by sudden ill-timed misfortune, e.g. Zoro being hit with the debilitating aftereffects of the medicine, Jinbe's suffering a mysterious bout of weakness himself...the hammer will fall hard and swift.

By this point, I'd imagine the Big Mom Pirates would also finally re-enter the scene and make their presence felt, possibly having come upon the Heart Pirates and captured them.

I also have a slight feeling we haven't seen the last of the Numbers, as they may not only revive but sober up, showing us just how dangerous they can be when they aren't intoxicated. Even worse, they too might be revealed to be zoans or otherwise powered up through the use of the same drugs I see possibly being given to the Tobi Roppo.

In summary, the tide will swiftly turn upon the bad guys essentially enjoying the same benefits as the heroes have in both this case and as is customary: outside support, getting healed up, prodigious luck, last minute power ups....script's getting flipped on our protags.

Those're my predictions and I'm sticking to em.

I can't help but wonder, for the people sticking to their "Raid failure"/">3 acts" stances...should it turn out that in the end, this was the final showdown, and these were indeed the definitive Flying six defeats, and the Big Mom pirates did indeed not turn up...what then? Does the entire Onagashima raid flip all at once to a mishandled dissapointment?

Not really, for my part. It would just mean I was wrong and need to adjust my thinking. Big whoop, the chances of which are always a given, and I'll never pretend otherwise. It's not about ego or projecting my desires, I'm just honestly going by what I think Oda has been/is/will be doing, with everlasting margin for error. Though obviously, there's always going to be things I like or don't like, same as anyone, and the same applies to any speculation or theories on my part; I don't disregard possibilities on the basis of what I prefer to happen or otherwise. For what it's worth.

With that said, one could flip the question around: would a Raid Failure scenario ruin your enjoyment of the story? I don't know about you, but several have already made it clear they don't fancy this outcome at all, quite vehemently so. Which is fine.

I never subscribed to the “raid fail” idea. That would mean a pause in the action and a longer-than-needed Act 4 due to the necessity of resetting the struggle. I’m against that, it would feel like an uneeded act.

I do think there will be a “oh shit” moment (the true climax) that will twist the objectives and raise the stakes considerably. Instead of halting and resetting the action like a raid failure, it would do the opposite: amp the risks and make act 4 an intensely fast-paced and tense one.

If that doesn’t happen, my judgement of the arc will depend on what’s still to happen. Maybe the remaining confrontations ends up way more interesting than what came before. But, judging only the events we have so far, I’d say Wano was a longer-than-needed arc and an unworthy conclusion to the huge Emperor Saga that has been built up since the epilogue of Fishman Island. The heroes have been in the advantage since the raid started, elements that were set up were not used, and the few setbacks didn’t raise the stakes. That’s a very poor narrative choice.
