You are a wily one. I suspect that, knowing your Stealth and Willpower were very high, you believed you would be able to commit murder without anyone noticing. And you almost got away with it, too.
Or Nami is lying about the attempted theft.

Yet Nami apparently didn't have enough stealth to steal from Monet. Theft would be... Stealth vs Perception? Athletics? Or Craft? I imagine athletics, but who knows?

I know there's some element of RNG with the dice rolls, but does this sound a bit off to anyone else?
Yes, it sounds very off. I suspect that Snowy-girl is lying about her night action, otherwise she should have easily been able to follow Nami-chan.

Miss Nami, would you be willing to let us know what your Perception score is?

Following is purely a stealth role. It isn't compared to the other persons stats in any way.

My stealth is 4. I can still fail a role.

This is a possibility, but it doesn't explain why Miss Harpy's stealth was both too high for Hannyabal, yet too low for Nami.

    It is max - 5 ^^

Ohh I thought it was a stealth vs stealth.

You keep saying you know how stats work, but I don't think you do.

You understand there's an RNG element to this right?

I also thought this. It makes more sense for it to be a contest, I think.

Yes, I understand, but the more we know about the actual numbers, the more we can also know about the probabilities, since Buggy-boy was so kind to tell us what these were tuned to.

    Okay, then.

If Nami-chan had said that her Perception was low, then I would have been completely convinced of Snowy-girl's guilt. Now, I need to do some reviewing of the thread to collect my thoughts.

Which is why I've been so generous with my stats.

This is turning into genuine frustration and I'm tempted to just try eating these ivy gloves, voting to lynch myself, and not looking back until the game is over.

I still think we should just lynch Queen for attempted murder and work on trying to figure out who the real killer is the next day. We can use our night actions, since we might except them to murder again, whoever they are.

Thank you, Nami-chan and Monet-san for your cooperation, by the way. I do hope that our friendship can continue to blossom in this hellish place.

    You're welcome! ^^

Yeah, hopefully we can escape this place and of course find the real killer who killed my friend... Ussop really was like a brother to me you know?

But I guess I start the bandwagon for Queen, since it is a safe bet, I'm sure they might kill again. I probably try to use a better night action like watch or follow, to help uncover the truth. Wish we had more evidence to nail Ussop's murderer.

    Vote Lynch: Queen

I'm digging my own grave here, again.

But how does Nami's perception even factor in here? Following another play does not take that players perception into account.

I was wondering the same thing, actually

You make a fair point. I am waiting for some clarification on how the follow action works.

Frankly, I'm surprised that Nami isn't voting for you. The murderer was definitely one of you two... unless someone else is doing a great job of pulling the wool over our eyes.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

Just to be clear, I was working under the assumption that the follow action contested your stealth vs. the target's perception or stealth. If I was wrong, then I sincerely apologize for confusing everyone.

You can follow someone, which will be roll of the dice on your stealth

    What clarification is needed here?

I mean, I'm not really sure if she killed or not, hence my hesitation. There is a little suspicion sure, but not enough for me to want to lynch her. I really thought for sure that the killer was Queen, and now I'm just stumped :/

Not much to be stumped by. Pretty much all the evidence we have puts it between you or her. And you would know if it's not you

To be fair, there is a chance that you performed the murder and then lied about your report on Hannya-boy.

And, just to make sure we're checking all the boxes, it's also possible that I performed the murder and am fabricating my report on Queen, knowing that he would have been late to the kill.

--- Update From New Post Merge ---

But, then again, I didn't have anyone get a "strange" report on my night actions... and my Willpower isn't very high.
